"Lucky!" Alexa cried, looking around to see if any other trainers were around.

He chuckled and said "I'm gonna go train in Route 1, if you wanna come with me, we can talk about our hometowns."

Laim stated "the more the merrier." He then walked over to Shirauni and introduced himself.

"I'm Shiranui and I'd like to join your group."

"Okay, I'll come with you I guess. Just don't expect me to battle well!" Alexa stated, starting to follow Chuck.

"Calm down killer." Jason said, but lacked to show any sign of discipline.
"Saur! Saur!" Brobasaur eagerly cried, wanting to battle more.
"Alright, alright, cool it your jets Brobasaur." Jason looked around again for more pokemon, but only saw more Rattata and Pidgey. "Well, there isn't much variety here so looks as if we gotta roll if you want to mix it up."
"Bulba..." Brobasaur locked his eyes on a Rattata, who was peacefullly nibbling on some grass. Brobasaur then leapt forward, extending out his vines for a vine whip, which made it's mark on the unwary Rattata. The Rattata fell instantly, with the Vine Whip being a surprise and also landing a critical blow. Brobasaur as pleased with himself and grinned, looking at his trainer for approval.
"I think you're a psychopath..." Jason said, half as a joke and half serious. "Let's make a deal where you don't kill me, okay?"
"Saur." Brobasaur nodded, understanding Jason.

"That's fine." he said. He lead the way to the grass.

Alexa was hoping a cute Pokemon would pop out, so she could catch it. Well you never know what you might run into, echoed her mom's words.

Jason looked over his shoulder and saw the kids from earlier come strolling in from the lab and into route one.
"Oh hey look, people. How long have we been training, Brobasaur?"
"Saur."
"I mean, we have knocked out three Rattatas and a Pidgey, so we have to of been out here for awhile..."

[Azure Flame]

A Pidgey popped out and Zeni jumped up to battle it. After a tough battle, Chuck threw a Pokeball and captured it.

"Nice catch!" Alexa complimented Chuck. She only hoped she could find something cute. Suddenly, a wild Rattata jumped out! It thrashed it's tail at Kawaii, but she sprayed the Rattata with water. The rat hissed and lunged towards Kawaii. In response, the Squirtle fired an ice beam at the Rattata, making it faint. "Good job!" Alexa praised.

[Azure Flame]

"Nice one!" Chuck said, giving her a thumbs up.

"Thanks! Now if only I can find a cute Pokemon..." Alexa muttered. She looked ahead at the field of tall grass. A few people stood scattered around, ready to battle anyone who got in their sight.

[Azure Flame]

"I'm sure there are plenty of cute Pokemon." he said. Just then, another Ratatta popped up, which Chuck battled and captured.

"Nice job!" Alexa praised, "But are there any here? Are there just birds and rats?" She shivered at the thought of having an ugly rabid rat on her team, its teeth rotted out.

[Azure Flame]

"You never know if you don't look." he said. "I wanna befriend many different Pokemon, so I'm trying to capture as many as I can."

(You can find any non-legendary, Kalos, or Unova Pokemon there, as long as it would be found in that type of setting.)

"Alright, I guess I'll see. Tell me if you find anything, okay?" Alexa said. A cute little Sentret popped out! Alexa squealed in delight, "Kawaii! Water gun, but weak!" The tiny Squirtle nodded, and fired a puny shot of water at the Sentret, making it fall down. "Go! Pokeball!" Alexa called out, throwing a Pokeball at the ferret. One, two, three, click! Sentret was caught! "I'll call you Lindo the Sentret!" Alexa stated.

(Oh okay. Thanks.)

"Nice one!" he said.

Alexa turned around and saw Chuck. "Thanks! Any luck?" she asked him.

"Not yet." he said. He had battled a few more Pokemon.

"I've heard of this Pokemon named... I think it was something like Azurill. I might try to get one, and I think I could use a fishing rod." Alexa said. She had a quick battle with a Hoothoot, but won and moved on.
