- Matt -
Matt followed the others, loop-da-looping, and zipping around, always leaving a trail of fading fire wherever he went. To some it might look like he was showing off, but he was just enjoying himself.

He calmed down after a while and began looking at the island spread below them, trying to spot other students. Some where impossible to see, as they didn't carry any form of light with them. However, most had flashlights with them.

"There's a lake down there! Who's up for a little exploring?" Lily suddenly asked, making Matt start paying attention again. He nodded and dove towards the lake, spinning as he went. To anyone watching, he looked like a meteor.

He transformed back into a human and landed gracefully on his feet, then looked up towards the other two above him.
"Coming, slowpokes?" he asked playfully.
- Dani -
"That seems like good news to me." Dani said, grinning. "Getting eaten wasn't on my list of things to do." That's when Dani remembered when they had first met and were in the elevator. Liam had gotten really close and wasn't exactly acting normal. He was just about to ask about it when Liam said pointed to something behind him.

"I don't think those are fireworks." Liam said. Dani turned just in time to see a bright light fall from the sky, a trail of light behind it.
"Wow, a falling star! Make a wish!" Dani said, giggling. He had never seen a falling star before. At least, not that he could remember.

Darwin

Darwin grinned when he heard her mutter something about the salad bar, and started walking with her, towards where he thought the salad bar was. He didn't mind it was salad, every super awesome hero had to eat green food and the likes, so he was of course no exception. Drow definetly seemed a bit off, but ah well, maybe some people just got very nervous, he didn't though. But maybe she was just scared of something...was it the thing that happened before? Ah well, she looked awesome and amazing as well, maybe it would be fiiine.

Then she held up a sign about the coloured candy...did she mean the skittles? The most amazing candy ever! How did she not know!? Still his face was that of a huge smile as he looked at her, seeming shy and unwilling to remove the scarf. "Oh....the skittles...." He said suddenly going a bit quiet, the smile dropping a it. "I-it was the first food my dad gave me when he found me...." He said, looking down at the floor. "But it was the most awesome food ever! Right!? Its definetly the best!" He let out a small chuckle as he spotted the salad bar. "Oh look! There it is!"

Liam

She rose up her arm and used her elbow to stomph him into the side of his stomach "That is a mean to say" she gave a serious look at him being very serious but couldnt hold it for two serious seconds and she already started to laugh a bit. They both looked at the the falling star it didnt seem to be like one or act like one since it flew all difrent ways just now but it might be better just to act with it. Liam closed her eyes and claped her hands together in front of her head I wish i had a real home she letted go of her hands and started walking again "So where are the questions"

"Ow, what?" Dani raised his eyebrows, confused. He rubbed the place Liam elbowed him. Then she burst out laughing.
"Why must you be so mean to me all the time?" Dani asked, grinning humorously. He punched her lightly on the arm.

Dani watched as the "star" dove out of sight as Liam silently wished for something. Liam looked up after a second and started walking again.
"So where are the questions?" Liam asked.
"What? Oh, they should be around here somewhere..." Dani said, patting his shirt and pants.
"Hm, guess not. I must have left them back at my tiki hut. Time to think of some more..." Dani said with a twinkle in his eye to show he was joking. His face then turned thoughtful and he put his hand to his chin, thinking.

Suddenly, he looked up.
"What do you like doing? Like for fun?" Dani asked curiously.

Drow

She finally looked him right in the face with a bit of a dumfound look, her mouth was slightly open from the reaction and she letted go of her scarff wich dropped down to her neck again I'm ruining it he seemed to be down for some reason but why she wanted to know more about it but didnt dare to ask him at all, And what was the part about his dad found him, where did he find him, was he left alone by his mom or something. So much questions but she probably shouldnt make him more upset then he already seemed to be. She only slightly nodded when he sayed skittles where that amazing, they didnt seem to be that special they are candy stuffed with sugar in all kind of colours.

Drow nodded at him again when he found the salad bar that they found it didnt take long before they arrived at the bar itself. She hobbeled over towards one of the tables outside and took place at it persuming Darwin followed her. The aura around the table seemed to be kind of romantic with a little light and a flower on the middle on the table. Drow looked through the list of saladas and other stuff and waited for the waittress to take their orders. When the waittress finally arrived she only pointed her finger at the salad and drink that she wanted and awaited for Darwin to chose. When she looked at Darwin again she felt the same feeling over and over again she immediatly looked away again to make the feeling less.

- Lily -

She fluttered down from the sky, her wings slowing fading away as she smiled over at Matt. "Those are my lines. Thief." She spoke, lightly punching him on the shoulder. She chuckled to herself and ran over to the water. When she reached it, she bent down and let her finger hit the water's cool surface. The moonlight bounced around as the water moved, flowing, rippling. Despite the water's cold temperature Lily could feel a certain warmth from it's touch as it rose and swirled around her.

She stood slowly, turning back to the others with a grin. "She says hi." Lily told them, grinning widely as the water danced around her, reflecting speckles of moonlight around the area. Giggling, she lifted an arm and the water began to dance around Matt's feet, slowly raising and then passing over to Carmen. A playful spirit, the water spirit was simply having fun with friend's of a friend.

She hadn't the ability to speak to any of them, only send small 'emotion' messages over to Lily. Lily had a small understanding for the Spirit's soul and understood what the spirit was feeling and how she was doing. The moonlight made her stronger, the only reason why she was able to move so far and look so beautiful. Then again, only Lily knew who it really was. The others probably just assumed it was Lily's doing.

– Crash–

Crash shifted his shoulders uncomfortably as his hand remained on the back of his neck as Kathy pressed him to finish his sentence. It was in this moment he was glad neither of them could see his expression, he was also surprised that his glowing face hadn’t lit up the path in front of them like a flare. Just say it... “Unless I came round with that movie a bit later in the day, we could exchange pictures then and...Hang out” Crash murmured, he wasn’t purposefully trying to be quiet or word his sentence badly both came naturally. There were two factors in his hesitation, the first one was Kathy’s own well being if he may have been a major instigator in embarrassing her without realizing it but he was also trying his best not to purposefully embarrass her. The second factor was a more selfish one; he found he wasn’t as comfortable discussing this kind of thing in front of Alex...at least not yet. After all the blue haired boys friendly disposition was only a recent change he had spent most of the morning staring daggers at Crash...The shapeshifter lowered his hand from his neck trying to watch Kathy’s expression through the darkness, if only he could just shift his eyes to a panthers then he’d be able to see her better. As it was he was left wondering whether she even understood what he was hinting at.

Nodding his head, his expression shifted to one of interest as Alex told them what he preferred to make. He tried to think of a way to continue on with the conversation but he was very much ill equipped with the subject, he hadn’t the foggiest clue on how to make jewelry so he wasn’t sure what to ask about it. He was forced into silence trying to think of something else to ask the pixie boy in his search for common ground between them, something they could...his nose unintentionally wrinkled at the word that popped into his head, he wasn’t sure of it. He turned his attention back to the others dropping his gaze to rest on Kathy’s hand still tucked within his own, his lips lifted into a soft smile helpfully hidden in the darkness. He wasn’t reading too much into it but the physical contact with the girl beside him seemed to have duel effects on him. On the one hand he was a lot calmer on the other he felt like a coiled spring, full to the brim with energy that was linked to nerves. He frowned at Alex’s view on age, he agreed with him to an extent but felt age did matter in some cases...still peace was better than opinions. “Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional” He shrugged at the pixie boy, though he wasn’t as enthusiastic in his delivery.

Crash felt a smile tug at the corners of his mouth as Kathy laughed though he was taken aback by her response to his comment on being ‘average’. He found her tone of voice amusing, he would have guessed a pout would have accompanied that...possibly, he’d seen her pull such an expression in the past. Damn the darkness, he couldn’t make out her expression at all still the thought brought a cheeky grin to his face. He was about to answer when he felt something bump into the back of his calf he glanced down in time to catch Kathy’s retreating foot. “Hey take it easy!” He chuckled, “You’re not ‘average’ by a long shot Miss Argall, you’re unique in more ways than one trust me” He told her, accompanying his words with a wink as a grin edged onto his face even if they couldn’t see his expression his features were a slave to his emotions, changing whether he willed it or not most of the time. “I mean that in a purely good way as well before you think otherwise” He quickly added, just in case she thought differently he even accompanied it with a reassuring squeeze to her hand.

The red haired shapeshifter kept his gaze averted from the pair pretending he couldn’t hear their hushed voices, he wasn’t a fan of being left out of the loop but he figured whatever it was didn’t concern him. He just focused on walking...one foot in front of the other, stepping over the hazards scattered across the forest floor. 19...makes jewelry and plush things...and blankets... what are you going to say? ‘Well I like the gym and sports’ It just spells ‘Boring Jock’ next to that creativity Crash thought to himself chewing his lip as he stressed over the idea of revealing his hobbies, he wasn’t sure why he was worrying about how he looked compared to Alex all of a sudden he hadn’t been concerned before. Music... He blinked as Kathy went back to talking normally, he glanced at her through the darkness a smile lighting up his face as he listened to her. His mouth opened as if to say something but Alex beat him to it, he chewed his lip before continuing on with his question anyway “Is there a reason you don’t bake all too often?” He asked curiously before she got the chance to bump him with his own hand. In response to her ‘joke’ his free hand instantly sought out the back of his neck as heat entered his cheeks. He detected the difference in her tone and although he wasn’t clued into why it had sounded different his thumb returned to its previous antics as if trying to offer up reassurance or possibly comfort. He wasn’t even sure which one it could signify... “Fine, since you asked so nicely” He teased directing the comment at Kathy. “I’m not skipping out” He chuckled at Alex’s response. “Hobbies...Creating and playing music would be one, so as not to be a parrot I’ll tell you my favorite sports though I enjoy most, lets say Basketball and Lacrosse” He admitted feeling more at ease revealing his interests after hearing Kathy’s. “I do recall you wanting to challenge me to a race at some point, would I be safe in assuming you like to run? Otherwise what other sports are you into?” He asked her, wondering whether he could have directed the last part of his question at Alex as well. “Do you like any sports Alex?” He asked though his tone was light there was something...off about it as he addressed the pixie boy.

– Mercy –

Mercy was glad to see the blood had stopped pouring from his nose, she fully intended to at least get him something to clean himself up with once they arrived at their destination. Her smile widened as he gave out a small laugh in response to her own, it was nice to hear perhaps hinting he was relaxing at least a little bit. “Well this place has every known flavor of ice cream...I’m sure of it” She kept the warm smile on her face as they walked noticing he reached up to touch his sensitive nose before he answered her question about dinner. “Hmm ok...how’s your nose feeling by the way?” She asked curiously as she tucked her arms behind her gently gripping her right wrist with her left hand as she walked.

She found she was slowly getting used to his stutter, though it still took her a while to piece together some words. His answers both surprised her yet didn’t at the same time, most of his hobbies were things that could be done independently, they didn’t rely on companionship to do. “You...enjoy cleaning?” She questioned an amused smile on her face though there wasn’t any signs of teasing in her tone or expression. “Knitting, sewing and baking sound like very interesting hobbies. What do you like to sew?” She asked him. Though she jolted to a stop as he whispered a word of which she hadn’t thought she’d hear here of all places...the small giggle was undeniably adorable coming from him...but what he'd said had momentarily shocked her. “I-I’m sorry” Mercy stuttered in return her voice strained, she licked at her lower lip nervously running her fingers into her hair as she forced herself to relax again. “I thought you said something else” She pulled the warm smile back onto her face hoping color would return to her cheeks soon. She walked across the grass moving around the back of the resort, she trotted over to a door ushering Zivon over to her she pressed her back against the door pushing it open for him. “Here we are” She grinned at him, lifting an arm to invite him in. If Zivon walked through the door he would have seen she hadn’t been kidding about there being every flavor of ice cream there. There was a counter spread from one side of the room to the other, literally filled with different selections of ice cream the room was noticeably cold as they walked further in.

“So what do you think?” Mercy asked Zivon moving over to the counter as a young gentleman appeared behind the counter. “Oh great! Please can you get whatever my friend here wants whilst I grab something from back here” She grinned, the man rolled his eyes but nodded in agreement as was her way she’d already introduced herself to most of the people of this island. “Pick anything you want honey, I’m literally going to grab something for you to clean up with” She told Zivon her hand momentarily hovered in the air as if she was thinking about touching his shoulder reassuringly but she caught herself and quickly disguised the action by tapping the glass and winking at him. Hopping behind the counter to retrieve a cold damp tea towel whilst he hopefully had a browse of the flavors, she was only gone for a few moments before returning. “Right, this is for you” She told him holding out the cold towel before looking at the selection of ice cream. “...and I’ll be honest with you and admit I’m a lost cause when it comes to ice cream, what would you suggest?” She asked him, pulling an apologetic look as she lifted her hand to her face running her fingers through her fringe.

– Kathy

Kathy’s breath stopped for a small moment at Crash’s answer, and at the same time she could feel her pulse rising until she could hear her own heart beat in her ears. “I’d… I’d really like that.” She admitted, wincing when her first ‘I’d’ came out rather high-pitched before she managed to correct herself. But she couldn’t help but feel nervous and happily excited at the same time. It would be her first date with Crash. Though she hadn’t expected them to go on the date immediately the next day, she certainly did not mind setting their plans so early on. For once she could actually sympathize with the girls that liked to gush over their relationships with others. She wanted to tell someone about the date now. Unfortunately, the first candidate that came to mind (a certain fashionable musketeer with a trumpet) was also someone that had accidentally(?) teased her about them. ‘Well… It’s probably best to keep things private for now anyway.’ She told herself.

“Alright then, I’ll take your word for it.” She told Crash, imaging the usual bright grin on the shapeshifter’s face. It made her quite a bit happier than it should have to hear that Crash thought she was unique, in a good way as he had deliberately specified. “… Thank you.” Kathy added. She wasn’t sure what he saw to be unique with her, but she recognized it as a compliment and truly appreciated it. Though she knew he probably couldn’t see, she beamed a warm smile in Crash’s direction as she returned the slight squeeze of her hand by grasping his a little tighter as well.

Kathy was quite inclined to agree that Alex did not act his age. It was actually reassuring to know that he didn’t mind admitting that he behaved as though he belonged to a younger age group. She got the sense that perhaps she really didn’t need to feel too self-conscious around Alex if he was willingly acting as a small child. Or… That was the plan, until she felt his lips on her cheek for a brief moment. “?!!” She accidentally let out a small squeak of surprise, almost missing the whispered response Alex gave to her question. “O-okay…” She whispered back. Kathy was more than willing to delay the conversation now, not trusting herself to have sound judgement with all the blood rushing back up into her head just as she had finally begun to calm down a bit. Now she was very glad they had poor visibility.

She sensed that something was a little off with Alex as he mentioned he would love to try some of her baked goods. Kathy chewed her lower lip as she wondered if she should ask him about the strained tone the boy had used. She was worried and wanted to know, but she could also tell that he was deliberately trying to act as though there was nothing wrong. ‘And also…’ She glanced over at Crash on her other side. ‘Maybe I should also pretend not to notice anything, to keep the mood around us as cheerful as possible.’ She wasn’t all too happy about her own decision, but she thought it was probably the best way to go for now. She gave Alex’s hand a small squeeze as she told him in a warm voice, “I’ll be more than happy to bake you something. Want to make any requests in particular? I could try to make any favourites you have.” Then answering Crash, she sheepishly admitted, “The food in the academy’s cafeteria is just too good. I didn’t really feel the desire or need to make anything myself when there’s better tasting goods available mere minutes away.”

“Aah, with the drums?” Kathy asked, feeling quite nostalgic as she recalled the flying drumstick that allowed her to start a conversation off with Crash at the beginning of the year. Feeling the redness in her face subside with the help of the cool air and distraction from the more ‘normal’ topics of conversation she answered in her usual light tone, “I guess I like running as well, but that was more because I feel quite confident in it.” She had only mentioned it briefly as part of a joke, so she was pleasantly surprised to realize that Crash had actually remembered the exchange. “I really enjoy volleyball and tennis. Basketball is quite high up on my list as well. To be honest I really enjoy almost any sport… With the exception of swimming.” Not having noticed the slight oddity with Crash’s tone, she waited patiently to hear if Alex was also into sports.

After the pixie had a chance to respond, Kathy noticed that they were pretty much right in front of their destination. “Hey, looks like we’re-” She was cut off mid-sentence as she suddenly stumbled over a jutting tree root. She yelped in surprise, already recognizing that it was too late to fix her balance when her centre of gravity had been thrown off. She immediately loosened her grip on both of their hands, trying not to bring either of them down with her as she fell.
– Leroy

“Tripping?” Leroy repeated, a wide grin plastered onto his face. There was clearly more to the story than just that, he could feel it. And unfortunately for poor Garden, he was not such a gentleman that he was willing to let it slide when she had already piqued his interest. “Are you the type that gets really embarrassed if you fall in front of others?” He began as he opened his deeper inquiry with an innocent question. Then he moved onto the more probing ones, carefully studying Garden’s expression with every sentence for any changes to indicate if he was getting closer to the truth. “But at least that’s all that happened right? It’d be really embarrassing if you dropped and noticed that your dress was flipped up. Though no matter how you fell, it’d be pretty bad if you ended up falling in front of your crush. Or if you fell on top of someone. ‘Course, the worst would be a combination of all of the above.” He laughed, trying to mask his attempts at cold-reading by passing it off as hypothetical jokes.

He raised a brow at Garden’s questions, though he was willing to patiently explain it all to her. “Marshmallows are these puffy white snacks that are sweet. They feel squishy and are quite good, especially when roasted over a fire.” Leroy smiled, and moved onto the next few terms. “Bonfire is the fancy term used to refer to a big fire that’s used when people camp outside. And Alice in Wonderland is a really amusing book about a girl that wanders into a strange world by following a talking white rabbit.” After giving her a moment to digest all the information he asked, “Were you from a foreign country? Not to say it’s a bad thing, but it’s a little unusual for you not to know about any of those.”

Leroy leaned his head in towards the flower that Garden magically produced out of thin air, trying to listen to the music she was referring to. He didn’t even need to strain his ears as he would have expected. She was right, the flower was actually playing music. “Wow!” He exclaimed, evidently impressed with her abilities. “Is this the sort of thing you hear on a regular basis?”

–Zivon-

Zivon smiled again as Mercy kept mentioning about the ice cream place having many flavors…. He really wanted to eat some cookie dough and pistachio flavor ice cream. His smile seemed to be a bit more real and kind but it had hints of brokenness and force to it. He touched his nose again and nodded to her, it still hurt but it was a fading pain. “N-n…ot…ba-b…ad…” He stuttered out as he again touched his nose, he was lucky that it wasn’t worse from the other injuries and causes he got from the past like a broken arm or a food poisoning from accidently eating uncooked chicken. He shivered and gulped air as he remembered the past again; he rubbed his arms together and began to feel really scared all over again like a cold chill ran down his spine. He started to play with his black hair to deal with his nervous issues, twisting and pulling it slightly. It was getting quite long and his bang nearly covered his face.

Zivon Looked at mercy and felt uneasy…was Mercy weird out that he liked to clean? But her voice didn’t have any signs of teasing or joking so he nodded. “Y-y…es…wh-h…e-e…n a…a-al…on..e-e….I-I clea…n-n…fe-fee…ls…le-ss l…o-ne-ly…” His voice became a bit unnerving, he was afraid about his hobbies were weird to her even though she was really a nice lady. “S…tu-ff a-nim-als… bu-n…ni-es a..n-d te-ddy…be-ars… an-d so…me-tim…es clo-th-es a-s w-ell… if- t…or-n I-I…fi-x i-t…” Zivon spoke in now a shy and frighten voice like a mouse staring at a cat. As he was walkinbg with Mercy she stopped and seemed nervous, he felt like something he said could have offended her so he immediately bowed to her. “So-rry!” He apologized to her; he was now once again full on fear and panic mode but he calmed down…well just turned surprised when Mercy explain herself that she though she heard something. He though carefully in the words he had said. ‘cooking…sewing…knitting…Wife?’ He remembered saying that when he remembered his dad telling him he was going to be a great wife one day.

“U..uh…W-ife?” He spoke to her again, wondering if that’s the word. But then he continue to follow her until seeing and entering the ice cream shop, his eyes wide open and it seemed to have that expression of a kid waking up in Christmas, he walked towards the displays filled with so many ice creams, he pressed his face even though his nose started to hurt again through the glass and continue to stare at the assortments of sweetness. “…waahh…” Amazed as he heard Mercy saying he could any flavor he wanted he couldn’t help to give a brighter and happier smile. He pointed at some flavors he knew and some that he didn’t even knew that existed. He pointed at Butter pecan, Pistachio, Cookie dough, Banana foster, Pumpkin pie and the one that really caught his interest the Nutty coconut ice cream. The man behind the counter nodded at Zivon, he clapped his hands together as he really missed ice cream so much…

Then Mercy came back with a damp towel and gave it to him, he nodded at took it… he guessed it was still for his broken nose. Mercy stared at the assortments and said she was a lost cause with ice cream and that she would like to hear his suggestion. He pointed at some flavors and started to speak, his voice became less stuttering and a bit more… normal…like he was in his happy place and there was nothing to hurt him. “U-uh…C-offee if you wa-nna buzz up, C-ookie Dough if you need comfo-rt, Blue moon is fun and yum-my as well, ras-pberry if you cra-ze something fr-uity and peach cobb-ler, if y-ou are feeling h-omesick…” Zivon told her, it seemed he was like an expert in ice cream then when he mentioned peach cobbler and it being a good treat when feeling homesick he sighed and wished he got that flavor…he was feeling really homesick.

–Garden-

Garden was feeling quite…awkward as Sir Leroy kept pressing her to answer more, she did feel uncomfortable to say the true answer but she didn’t want to avoid Sir Leroy’s questions… it would be rude of her… Soon he started to say different scenarios and some would match of what had happen, all she could do is nodded and speak in a nervous tone. “Uuh… Y-yes…uuhh…sometimes… umm…that would be very embarrassing if I fell onto someone but I j-just fell that’s all and it was during the game itself so I had to recover quickly after I fell.” She said while trying to avoid any more details from the incident. Sir Leroy’s laugh was making her feel a bit…nervous but not that hands shaking nervous but more of knowing something would happen nervousness.

But she was glad that Sir Leroy answered her questions, for marshmallows being a sweet treat when toasted and a bonfire being…a great fire, it made her spine shiver, fire…it truly scared her. And talking about Alice in..wonderland?...weird concept but it sounded interesting to her, she was glad to get to know about the human world, it made her feel to have a bit more freedom just for a while. “Thank you for answering Sir Leroy, um...you can say I came from somewhere foreign I..” Garden paused for a moment trying to think of a simple way of explaining where she came from… from a magical floral land of knights and royalty? Seemed like the most understandable and blunt thing to say. “I came from a kingdom, royalty and such sorts, we really don’t have much…interesting stuff and things like marshmallows and skittles there, we are a nature based country if you think about it.” She put a finger on her chin, tapping it on her face while thinking about home.

She smile d brightly as Sir Leroy seemed to be amazed with the music of flora, she couldn’t help to bring out her adorkable smile again and clapped her hands together. “It’s amazing, I hear all the time, at first I got annoyed by it because it was playing all the time but I got so used to it and started to dance with the music I couldn’t help to fall in love with it.” She told him as he heard the music getting louder, she really wanted to dance…maybe Sir Leroy would like to dance? She couldn’t ask, he might be not even want to… but she just continue to listen to it joyfully. “Its… a beautiful tone, I love it so much…”

Liam

Liam used her finger to pull one of her lower eye lids down and poked out her tongue towards him in reply of being punched. She began laughing again "Beacause you're picking fights with girls" she grinned at him. She walked next to him again as he did a bad joke about what she said "Ha ha ha very funny" she said in a sarcastic voice and began to talk again after Dani giving the question to her "Does watching movies and sleeping count as a fun thing to do. O and I go outside at night into the city that is fun.... kinda."

She gave a yawn while stretching her arms into the air and suddenly did 2 jumps out of the sea. She dropped her body down while making a little twist on one foot to land on her butt into the sand. Her twin tails danced around her all covered in sand after dropping down into the sand. After sitting down she dropped her head backwards landing on both of her arms using them as a cushion for her head. The moment her back touched the sand an unbearable pain went through her nerves it didnt take long before she turned onto her side. A small scream of pain could be heard but she tried to hold most of it in her.

She hoped Dani didnt look at her yet but he might have noticed that she was in pain "Any plans tonight ghostie" she quickly said trying not to be suspicious. She felt like crying so much pain was goi g through her back but she holded it all in. Her body moved to a more comfortable position while still lying on her side as she patted on the sand next to her to indicate where he could sit "My feet feel a bit tired from walking please have a sit"

Darwin

Darwin sat down at the salad table, his smile quickly returning to it's usual place on his face. He started looking at the menu with great interest, his eyes actually fixed on the menu. "Decions......descions..." He muttered as he did so before suddenly slamming a finger onto the menu. "I'll have the salad!" He announced in a very thearatical voice, before grinning at Drow again.

"So...>Drow, how are you today?" He said as he then ordered a glass of soda. "'ve never asked, but what are you? I mean...I know Lilly's an angel, Matt's a pehoniz and I'm a unicorn, are you anything super cool like that? i eman you're already super cool, but everyone can be super cooler, it just takes that little amaazingness to hit them, like sugar!"

Drow

She noticed Darwin liked grinning a lot this must have been something to do with him being happy all the time. She gave a small giggle at him when he chose the salad. The waitress left with the order from them both and it wouldnt take long since they dont have to heat up the salad and cook it like normall restaurants. She regained eye contact with Darwin but it didnt last long before akwardly looking away again the whole time.

Suddenly Darwin began a conversation about how her day has been. She wrote down some words and showed it to Darwin "It was weird, and my hand hurts." She showed her hand to Darwin wich was quite burned, it was red and stinged a lot. She looked up at him when he asked about her powers. He also referred some names but she never heard about them before so she didnt really know what he was talking about.

But she loved to show of people her powers and what she could do when she tried to controll it. She slowly was standing up and getting closer to him leaning over the table. She stretched out her hand and didnt hesitate to put it on one of his cheeks. She assumed it hurted quite a bit and hoped it wasnt life treating or anything.

- Dani -
Dani laughed at Liam's answer.
"Okay, I accept your reasoning." he said.

"Does watching movies and sleeping count as a fun thing to do? Oh, and I go outside at night into the city that is fun.... kinda." Liam answered.
"Really? I usually stay inside during the night. I've always thought the bad guys were out and about when the sun goes down." Dani said, raising his eyebrows. He decided then that he would try roaming a city during the night one time, see what it's like. He doesn't have to sleep, after all. And it's a whole lot easier for him to be safe then others.

Liam jumped out of the water and landed on her back, making a slight "Eep!" as she landed. She immediately off onto her side.
"Any plans tonight ghostie?" she asked as if nothing happened. If she was in pain, she was attempting to keep it a secret. Dani had no right to stick his spectral nose in her business if she didn't want him to.

"Hm... Not really. Certainly not sleep, if that's what your asking." Dani replied. Liam patted the ground beside her and told him to have a seat, which Dani did. "How about you?"
- Matt -
"Hey, the early bird gets the worm. In this case, the right to call others slow." Matt replied philosophically, then followed her to the peaceful lake.
Lily put her fingers in the water and it began to splash around.
"She says hi." Lily told Matt and Carmen with a grin.
"She? Are you sure she's female?" Matt asked. If he was joking, it was hard to tell in the darkness.

The water splashed over Matt's feet, getting his sneakers wet, then moved on to play around Carmen without a care in the world.
"Hey!" Matt laughed, jumping back. "These are my good shoes!" This time it was obvious he was kidding.

"And you said you haven't improved. I don't remember you playing around with water last time we met." he told Lily.

Alistair pulled back and smiled down at Cyber "i guess it is a weird question, i'm sorry, i shouldn't have asked" he took a step back and looked around "i'm happy With Anything Cyber, you know human amusements better then I" he chuckled, the tension in the room was still high but he hoped his reaction would cool some of it. he leaned down and started to fold the twisted thing back up, it was a little confusing, but he needed to do something. he cleared his throat and looked at Cyber over his shoulder "so what do you want to do Cyber?"

– Crash–

Crash couldn’t pull the smile from his face at her answer, purposefully pretending he hadn’t noticed the change in her tone. He felt a wave of nervous excitement pass through him as well as a level of satisfaction of her agreeing to it, he wanted to jump in the air and click his heels together like the men did in old movies. He settled for doing so in his mind and maintaining the elated expression on his face, he knew it was a little fast considering it would only be the next day but he figured there wasn’t any harm in doing it this way. “Great...that’s settled then” He murmured, stumbling over what he actually wanted to say, needless to say the end result wasn’t great. What he wanted to say was ‘Great, looking forward to it’ but he couldn’t quite spit those words out. He was back to being an excited puppy, his thoughts returning to a normal buzz. “Anytime...” He replied to her, that warm feeling passing through him a second time as she returned the squeeze to his hand and grasped him a little tighter.

He’d been doing a good job of ignoring the pair of them until he heard Kathy squeak in alarm, it caused him to turn his head sharply to look at them in the darkness all he could see was their heads separating, it caused tension to ease into his arms as the hair on the back of his neck stood on end. His mind instantly jumping to the wrong conclusion on what had just happened, he convinced himself that he was wrong and simply did what he did best, pushed it aside so he didn’t have to deal with how that made him feel instead concentrating on the more positive points of their conversation, trying his hardest not to strengthen his grip on Kathy’s hand. Crash grinned at her comment on the cafeteria food he couldn’t argue that it was particularly good, he’d personally never known a school to put so much effort into their food choices and he’d been to a lot of schools. He hadn’t tasted anything that Kathy had cooked so he couldn’t honestly say she could create something far better than what was on offer, though he had an inkling that she could...then again he loved home cooked food. “Hmm I see your point, though you haven’t entirely convinced me its ‘better’ tasting than something you could make” He decided on saying instead of jumping on the cliché train to offer her a hurried compliment. His smile grew as she mentioned the drums, he hadn’t expected her to remember what instrument he played though he assumed it was a giveaway considering he owned a pair of drumsticks which she had pointed out earlier. “Indeed mainly the drums” He admitted, a rush of happiness passing through his chest.

“Hmm, that would explain the challenge” Crash murmured bashfully rubbing the back of his neck, feeling he’d been off track with that suggestion. His grin returned upon hearing her favorite sports one of which he’d never partaken in for probably obvious reasons, though he found he could easily imagine Kathy playing it and no doubt being good at it. “Tennis looks like a fun sport though forgive me for not knowing much about it” He commented truthfully, he would have happily spoke more on it but he would have made a bumbling ass of himself in the process. “Basketball however, Let me know if you ever want to shoot some hoops sometime...I promise to be careful” He offered with a grin, knowing he had a track record to compete against he then fell quiet to wait for Alex’s response.

Now despite his notorious clumsiness, as it stood he was often less so around Kathy, she tended to pull his focus. So as surprising as it may have been, his reflexes in this instant were pretty good he lurched forward shortly after hearing her yelp in surprise twisting his body side on his free arm sprung out in an attempt to catch her by wrapping around her torso hoping her own momentum wouldn’t cause her harm. The shapeshifter had demonstrated before that despite his lean frame he had some strength in him. He felt her fingers slide from his as she tried not to pull both him and Alex down with her, in turn he released her hand so as not to strain her shoulder. If he was able to catch her he would have found his own center of balance was none existent, so despite his valiant effort he went down with her though he pulled his arm towards him hopefully along with her as he went down shoulder first flopping onto his back pulling her towards him if he had successful so she didn’t go down face first on the floor rather collided with him. Ignoring the sharp pain in his shoulder he could only blink up at the stars to begin with uncertain whether he’d helped Kathy or just ended up throwing himself onto the floor as well it had all happened so fast. He lifted his head peering through the darkness with a concerned expression. “Kathy? You okay?” He asked.

– Mercy –

Mercy noticed the subtle change in his smile, it was encouraging to see him a little more relaxed she returned his smile with just the right level of warmth to it. Nodding in acknowledgement as he mentioned his nose being ‘not bad’ she was becoming less concerned about it, not because she didn’t care but because he was so sure he’d be fine. Normal humans said it a lot and if wasn’t true but she was around Athalian’s perhaps one of his abilities was fast healing...how could she know? “Ah I see, thank you for explaining that to me” She told him gratefully, showing no signs that she found him strange if anything she seemed to be unshakably accepting of everything he was saying to her. “I can’t say I share your enthusiasm for cleaning I’m afraid” She admitted with an apologetic smile. “Aww that sounds amazing! Stuffed animals are not an easy thing to make, I’d love to see some of your work sometime...if you’re ok with that” She beamed at him clearly impressed with his abilities. “An all round fixer huh? You’re putting me to shame” She jested with him, almost bumping him with her hand catching herself yet again she rubbed her hands together in front of her. Unable to feel a little inadequate compared to the young boy beside her, she couldn’t do any of the things he’d suggested well she could cook...sort of. Home Economics was going to be interesting when she was about...poor Yutaka. “What sorts of things do you like to cook?” She asked before he launched into an apology.

Mercy barely stopped herself from wincing as Zivon repeated the word that had caused her discomfort, still feeling guilty over his apology she put on a brave front. A smile teased her lips as she nodded at Zivon. “Perhaps, but don’t worry about it” She answered him as she walked on, she couldn’t lie about it but she wasn’t all too keen on pulling attention to it. I should know better than to be surprised by this stuff...I mean the beach games proved that much She thought as she pushed the door open to the ice cream place. Her smile widened at his reaction to scene before him, especially considering how much his smile had brightened it was quite warm hearted sight as he pointed at certain flavors of ice cream most of which Mercy hadn’t heard of before. She chuckled as he clapped his hands together; it hadn’t taken her long to retrieve a towel for the young boy.

The young woman listened carefully to what Zivon was saying about all the different flavors, finding it easier to understand him now his stutter had died down. She was amazed at how much he knew about ice cream. She had no idea what most of the flavors were...she’d had her fair share of cookie dough of course. She picked up on how he reacted to the last flavor, homesick...was he? She tapped her lower lip before looking at the gentleman behind the assortment of flavors. “I’m definitely in need of some Peach Cobbler let’s have two servings of that first unless you want something else?” She decided though didn’t remove the choice from him as she was handed two bowls of the ‘homesick’ ice cream. “We’ve got time” She assured him just in case he was worried they wouldn’t have time to try more flavors if he wanted too.

–Zivon-

Zivon tilted his head and nodded quietly, not much people really like cleaning it seem to upset or bore people but for him it was peace. He would gladly clean up anything from a spilled drink or a pile of dirty dishes he would accept it and clean. He then blushed brightly as Mercy wanted to see some his work, he couldn’t help to cover his face and blush even more. Even more when she said he was a all around fixer which he didn’t know what that means but it still made him blush again and felt really weird. It was weird just hearing those things from a different person than his dad like it was alien to him. His cheeks were flustered and he couldn’t say anything else. "Uh! Ugh...aamm....I c-can mak-e you a b-bear....if y-you don't m-ind" he stuttered out, still feeling embarrassed then as she asked about what he liked to cook, he though for a while. He mostly cooked simple home style cooking but sometimes going a bit out there when reading a recipe book. “U-uh…um… l-lots of t-thing..uhh…a lot...” He stuttered to her, still blushing and rubbing his cheeks from the slight warmth.

There was clearly some discomfort when Zivon mentioned the word wife to Mercy even though she said to not worry about it but Zivon is all about worrying. He couldn’t help to wonder why the word wife bother her, of course he wouldn’t ask about it if he had any guts to do it but instead to keep quiet. Quiet as meaning of shaking and trembling in place out of nervousness. After that and in the ice cream shop he nodded and listened to Mercy intently even though is focus was…a bit on ice cream. The many flavors reminded him of home so much that he really wanted to eat more but he knew that his stomach wouldn’t take it. After seeing two bowls of peach cobbler ice cream handed to her he look at the treat and nodded. He did not mind eating peach cobbler ice cream first, like before he was feeling rather homesick. He got one of the bowls carefully and grabbed the spoon as well, taking a small scoop of the sweet treat and he started to eat. It was smooth and creamy but had that very sweet and subtle taste of peach, he couldn’t help to smile and eat some more.

He can’t not be anymore happy…well if his dad was there then he would be thrilled but he was just happy. He once again nodded to her and smile, eating more of the treat. He couldn’t thank Mercy for dealing with his issues, he had to thank everyone who tolerated his emotional breakdowns so Zivon though of a way to thank them. ...Maybe making Bento lunch boxes for them? That seemed like a good idea and they were easy and fun to make. Deciding he would do that in the morning he looked back at Mercy and bowed his head a little. “T-thank…y-you…f-for…yo-ur..k-kindn-ness…” He thanked Mercy and blushed again feeling embarrassed to say that just randomly.

–Cyber-

Cyber though what next to do, he was not sure he could think of anything else, he looked at his bag and tried to find things to do. There were some consoles, even old ones like a nitendo 64. He shook his head, he didn’t think that Alistair would like to play video games, it seemed a bit unfair like what he though before. “ I got no clue really…um… oh since you said you came from a different place ever heard of human music? Like rock and roll or punk? Because I have some cds we can listen to.” He brought out an old small stereo from the bags of luggage. It wasn’t really old but a bit more… vintage, he put on the floor and plugged it in. Cyber inserted the cd and clicked play letting a fun song play.

- Alex -

Alex chuckled as he watched the two fall on top of each other. He had to resist the urge to step in and try to grab Kathy as she fell but something told him to hold off and let Crash handle it, good or bad. It wasn't his place. He knelt down closer to the two and smiled.

"Well, you two really are made for each other." He spoke, chuckling still. "Oh, and... I'll take you up on that offer, Kathy. Think you could make some muffins? I like muffins." He continued, his hands framing his face as he sat, watching them. "And... I don't really like sports, so I'll leave that stuff to you two. Save the sweets and cute things for me." He added, winking despite the darkness around them.
TS

The night continued on, each group doing their own things. Lily, Matt, and Carmen explored the area around the lake they found until eventually, Lily got tired enough to fall asleep against a tree. Soon after the group walked back to the houses, too afraid to let the sleepy angel fly. Krashy and Alex found their way up the small hill eventually and watched the stars for a few hours before the two love birds fell asleep and Alex, deciding to let it happen, left them without a word. The others talked to one another until sleep eventually took it's toll on the island and a sweet silence fell over everyone. Well, except for one particular demon.

- & -

Xanthus waited patiently for Lily and Carmen to return, even waiting so long as for the two to fall asleep. Once his wait was over, he quietly made his way into their room, stopping over Lily.

"Lily... My love... Wake up..." He whispered into her ear, a soft smile on his lips. When she turned to look at him, her eyes were soft from sleep. Soon, they widened at the realization of what was going on.

"Wha-" She began, stopping when Xanthus put his finger to his lips and pointed toward the sleeping Carmen. With a sigh and a small nod, Lily got up, her white night down falling around her ankles as she got up. She pulled back pastel pink hair as she followed Xanthus outside to the front porch. "Okay... We... need to talk, don't we?" She asked as they closed the front door.

Xanthus simply nodded, smiling. "But I'm going to do most of the talking. There isn't much time left." He told her, sighing. "Lily, I never intended to stay very long. I don't have much time. In truth, I never got my body back. I gave up my position in that man's body. It wasn't fair to him and I realize that now. All I need to know is that you're happy. I want you to move on... I wanted you to live on without me. I'm just glad to see you have. I never expected you to take me back. I just wanted to... pretend even if for a few moments that everything was going to be okay. But now I see that even if it were, it would never be all better. Don't worry about me." He explained, sending her a sorry looking expression.

Lily sighed and shook her head. "I'm sorry, Xanthus. Even if... I just couldn't go back. I've mourned and now... I'm better. I'm healing. Being with you would only open up more scars... I don't need love. I don't need anyone like that... Though, in truth, you were one of the only ones that treated me so well... I owe so much to you..." She told him, stepping closer. She pulled the ring from her necklace and held it out to him. "Take it back... I can't marry you." She told him, turning her head away. When she let go of the ring, however, all she heard was the clang of metal hitting the wooded floor. When she turned back, Xanthus was gone... disappeared...

Quietly, softly crying, the tired angel girl took the ring and went out to the ocean. With a sniffle and a sigh, she threw the ring into the water, letting the ocean bury the ring in the sand. Then, Lily went back to her room and crawled back into bed, softly crying the rest of the night.

- & -

Morning came quickly for most as the sun came over the ocean's waters. Though, most of the island's inhabitants didn't start to stir until 9 or 10 am. Though, some continued to snooze well into the afternoon. The sun shone over the waters as they gathered in the restaurant, ready to get some brunch, to get ready for a lazy day on the beach.

Carmen
(OMG I can make IC posts again)

Carmen woke up.

Normally, this would be an event on its own, requiring several hours, at least 400 square feet, a full beauty salon, and (naturally) a walk-in closet the size of Rhode Island. But, as she currently had none of those things and had a sleeping Lily to not wake up, the process was a little more normal. However, her Narnia wardrobe/TARDIS closet sufficed and she was soon ready for another day in paradise - sundress, designer flip flops and massive sun hat all equipped and ready to go.

Once she had done all that, she whisked out of the house silently in her bird form, perching on the rook and transforming back to her human form, trumpet in hand. Sitting on the edge of the roof with her feet lazily dangling, she began to play, figuring the sun was high enough that nobody would be disturbed by it. She played sweet, simple tunes that could very easily be construed as Athalia's vacation alarm clock, playing them to no one in particular and generally just taking in the view and the island air as she weaved sounds into a piece with her instrument. She figured it was possible that Lily would be pleasantly woken up from the melodies, but she again mentally referred herself to the height of the sun - the day was there for the taking.
