It's just that I was sort of bothered by how I commented on nearly everyone's creations and ideas contributed to the roleplay in some way, and I received practically no responses except for a select few. It just felt weird, as if I'm just sending random crap around the thread for no real reason. Not trying to sound selfish or stuck-up, but I do feel a little... off, and only given at least a miniscule amount of attention when I need to be strict or keep up with my title as a Co-GM. I'm basically feeling left off when it comes to being who I am, not who I need to be.

EDIT: Also, I am counting tiny responses such as "Okay" or "pretty nice" when I mean "comment."

I know exactly the feeling you describe, where you throw down a bunch of stuff and get ignored entirely, and someone else comes along and does one thing and everybody's all over it. Story of my life on pretty much every forum I've been a part of, honestly. There will be discussions where I'll read through all of the posts and spend an hour typing up a long, well-thought out response that I feel really adds a lot and solves issues, and it's completely ignored. Not a single reply or even acknowledgement that I posted for the rest of the discussion. And then someone else posts like two sentences that were basically a worse and less thought out version of what I said and everyone's like WOW AWESOME and I'm just like ...

So I know how you feel.

Remember when we stayed up until 7 am doing that Athalian Idol episode? I posted it on here. Not only did it get zero responses, a few weeks later when I mentioned it on the pad nobody knew it even existed. So it's not just you. I bet half the problem is that it's annoyingly easy to miss a spoiler in a post if you're skimming like many people here do, so I bet a lot of your art people don't even know is there, and it's less of a case of them ignoring it/not caring/whatever.

I think I can speak for all of us though that we all appreciate what you have done for the roleplay. The extra stuff and lore and obviously characters and plot arcs have been invaluable to the progress and sustainment of the Athalia universe, drawings included. It makes it feel more complete, and other than Rose (since she created it) I don't think anyone's more valuable to Athalia than you are. I just made some websites.

I'm just going to tell you that at least I personally feel no need to comment unless I see something wrong (since you said "nice" isn't a comment). You've seen how I draw. It goes without saying that everything you make is a hundred times better than what I can do.

I said that comments like "Nice" and "Cool" ARE counted as comments, not the other way around.

Everyone is a valuable part to Athalia, but we sometimes fail to make each other feel that. I'll be quite honest in this opinion of mine.

I spent 5 days sketching out the Dragon Knight's concept art and still am, and I have spent a longer amount of time on other drawings I spent days on trying to learn things I've never drawn before, and with the little amount of freetime I have outside of quickly typing in this website, it sometimes takes weeks or even months. Some other roleplays' responses made me think, if I say it nicely,

"Wow, this is bullsh-t. F-ck this. Is there anything that can make them RESPOND to my sh-t, even if it's that sh-tty?"

And that's saying my thoughts very, very nicely. I honestly felt 1/2 of that feeling after the Athalian Idol episode.

I've had complaints from RPG during my active days as a GM/Co-GM, and many of them were how they were not getting enough attention. I guess I developed an extreme hatred for ignoring others' words after the countless of messages I received (yes, it's a lot more common than you think it is), which is why I usually try to respond to nearly every post in the OOC that could possibly or obviously involve me. I try to talk. The others? Well, whaddya know.

I love the talents shown in this roleplay. From the drawings to the collaborative posts, from the ideas to the creative gimmicks we made for the roleplay. It's when we get lazy and scrim over the talents they put effort into that I begin to harbor feelings of hatred for. Yes, I still hate the concept of ignorance after three years of experiencing ignorance in forums. We can post over five paragraphs of explaining why we're sorry or why we couldn't respond instead of giving a few words of motivation. Even the most half-hearted comments made me thrilled in making my next contribution to this roleplay.

As for the usage of "hiders," that just exemplifies the little interest given to others' creations. I've never scrimmed over a single post so far in Season 1 and Season 2, and no way in Hell am I going to scrim over anything in Season 3 and its OOC. I'm not saying you have to worship others' talents, but you could at least try to comment on 1/10 of someone's contributions, right?

Is anybody planning on getting the 3DS version of the new Smash Bros.? It looks really interesting. It's one of the few portable fighting games out there that's actually really easy to get into. Only problem is how you can break your joystick easily.

I'm planning on getting the 3DS version if I can, but remember, anyone who faces me must follow the rules of "No Items, Fox Only, Final Destination."

Sadly, the DS/3DS console costs two eyes and a kidney, so getting one in Brazil is impossible - especially if you're not on the 'prospering' aspect of life e.e

I recommend you to get a New Nintendo 3DS if you ever get one (yes, it's actually called "New" Nintendo 3DS lol). The current 3DS will literally break your eyes if you use the 3D effect unless you're extremely pixel-tolerant. And it just looks better.

I played Smash Bros 64, Melee, and Brawl. I actually wavedashed with Luigi (in Melee) like freaking crazy to destroy my friends, and in Brawl and N64, I trolled a lot with Captain Falcon.

I'm currently waiting for the Wii U version. Glorious 60 FPS on my 8-inch long television screen...

I know you said to drop it, but as GM I feel the need to at least voice some of my opinions on it. And if I can lift the spirits of someone who seems to feel like I do some of the time, then I'd rather say it. (And no, I'm not getting Smash Bros for 3DS. I doubt I'll even get it for Wii U since it's a game I'm not ALL that into. I'll play it. It's just... expaaaansive.)

If you want my honest feelings on the artwork for Athalia that you ALL have been doing, I have to say that I feel honored. It makes me feel all fluttery inside to know that people are gaining inspiration and then acting on it from my ideas. It's kind of unreal for me to see someone draw my character no matter how well or poorly it's not. Just the fact that someone took time out of their day to draw MY idea. Because I cannot draw Lily to save my life. Hell, when you drew her I even put her in my signature for a good while. (The only reason I took it off was because I get bored easily and like to change thing up. I'll change my sig like... 5 times in a month if I'm given the chance.)

Now, as to why I don't really comment on things. I hate two-faced individuals and liars. I was one at one point and I will never go back, at least not as a choice. If I don't say anything, it's because I don't believe anything I could say would be real. It's not that I don't like it, but I don't want to lie and say, 'Oh well... it's mediocre.' I find stuff like that mean. And so, normally one would lie and say, 'Wow, that looks nice!' Or ,'Great Job!' I find shit like that disgusting. I'm not going to say what you want to hear and lie. Now, I also can't say anything bad about the work because I don't honestly believe I could do any better and have no room to judge.

So, even if I don't comment on OOC things, I always read them. I do so so that I can check for things like this. Problems people might have... And to avoid missing posts. Now, IC is something different. Some of you write really long posts that I don't necessarily have time to read if we want to keep moving. So, if I know it doesn't affect my character, I will skim over it. But that just comes down to how much time I have and what kind of mood I'm in. If I'm in a mood to read posts, I will. But if I'm in a crap mood and just want to watch TV rather than read something that... I don't really want to read at the time, then I won't. I try to stay true to myself. Because this is supposed to be fun. It's not suppose to feel like work. And if I'm forced to read every single word you all post, I'd be failing college.

If you aren't affected by my post, I don't expect you to read it. If I feel that you might not read my post, I'll let you know OOC that my character has interacted with one of yours.

NK, I know you're busy as well which is why I have commend you on being able to read everyone's post and stay on top of everything. Clearly, you're a better GM than me since I really don't. I tend to dislike going through powers since it kind of... takes a long time and bogs me down when I have other things to do. What I do love, is the character however. I love looking at a character figuring out their role, what to do with them, the possibilities are endless.

I guess it's kind of like Facebook. People make posts all day long. Does that mean I comment on every single one of them? No. I comment on the ones I feel compelled to comment on. Dude, the Dragon guy looks fucking badass. So are most of the other stuff you do. I feel like it becomes less meaningful if I tell you that every single time.

I guess that's what I'm getting at. My sister gets made at me for it, my boyfriend gets mad at me for it. I truly believe that the more you use a word, the less valuable it becomes, the less it means. 'I love you.' loses a bit of it's luster the more you use it, so I only use it when I feel the moment deserves it. 'Happy Birthday.' That's so shallow to just post that on someone's wall. It's so easy and so frequently done that it almost means nothing to me. I'd prefer a phone call or an inperson 'Happy Birthday' over one on Facebook. So... I don't really say it. Part of it is me being forgetful, and part of it is me just... feeling like it doesn't really matter. I shouldn't have to say I love you for you to know that I do. I shouldn't have to say Happy Birthday for you to know that I'm there for you. And... I feel like my comments don't add up to much because well.. they don't have much depth to them.

NK, you are an amazing artist. It's great what you can do and I like being able to see you grow as an artist. I think it adds something to the RP. And I will miss you posting your work on the thread. It was kind of something I looked forward to, much like looking through pinterest at all the pretty anime artwork. It became the norm for me. Same with side stuff you guys did. In truth, I may not have always read it because I'd rather focus on using what little time I do have to making post to move the RP along. I'd hate it if you guys stopped that because then that means that you've lost interest in Athalia and that breaks my heart. I LOVE seeing you guys do stuff like that. There are no words I could say that would prove to you how much they do in fact mean to me. I can't say anything for other people, but this is what I feel.

Without you guys and what YOU do, Athalia would not EXIST. It would just be another stupid idea in my head that never took up off the ground. Like many of them. Trust me, I have moments where I feel like I shouldn't even try, that I'm useless. That I can't do anything right and... I have my low moments. Moments where I just need some warm to hug and a shoulder to cry on.

Now, I can't help you on inspiration. That something you have to find yourself. I can, however, try and convey how much you all mean to me, each and every one of you. I got Chik-fil-a before coming here and I haven't eaten a bite of it yet because I wanted to make SURE I got this out to you guys. I hate seeing people feel like what they do isn't appreciated or seen. Because it is. It is an integral part of Athalia. Knowing that someone is making a comic out of an idea I sparked, I helped create, is.. I literally can't describe it. And I hope that all of you feel the same way. Someone took what you helped create and is making something REALLY cool out of it. If you aren't in awe of that, then I really don't know how you function.

Anyway, my food is getting cold... and I have work I need to do because college SUCKS. Otherwise, I'd be here. Doing more. But ye. Gatta do what you gatta do.

Also, theres the fact that none of the Nintendo consoles are particularly common here and I think the best part is, like, playing with other people so idk. Also², I've never been quite into nintendo, so I don't even know their coolest titles and all. Truth be spoken, the only game I know from them and I'm 100% sure it's very good is Pokémon and now SSB since that thing just can't get bad, at all. :3

I can see what you're getting at. You have my respect for giving me such a lengthy response.

I suppose that my sudden decision came out of impulse. I never really thought that my drawings were viewed to that extent, but I will say that I am the one who should be honored.

I will reconsider my decision on not uploading my drawings in the OOCs. I think it may have been a decision made too suddenly and should be something to think about more thoroughly. That particular post of yours has inspired me a little, actually.
