Also on the character interaction issue, if your character is looking for a news job, I'm sure information on a crime that has been blocked off by the police would be useful * nudge nudge*

Problem is is that some reporters were allowed special entry to get something out. Why didn't I notice the problems with this -_-?
Ok, we'll make it to where they were only allowed to say "Hory shet, explosion! But the cops are working on what happened."

Well, other news reporters don't have superpowers.

LOL that's true but I'm not sure how starting fires is going to get me a news story. Unless I'm the one starting them! ☺:)

.Now as for this...I'm sorry but I think I'll be rejecting this. I think it's mainly the writing that bugs me, and the fact that the Red Lanterns are portrayed as killing machines that will kill basically anything for no reason. That may have been the case before, but seeing as how they now have rational thought and are actually all about chaotic justice (bringing punishment upon the guilty), this is an inaccurate portayal.Jeez, I think at this rate we might as well try and get this thread moved to the casual section...

Do you mind if i re-write this Entry?.

Rewriting it would be a good idea. Also, be sure to try and improve the grammar a little bit. Punctuations such as commas and periods where they need to be is important. On top of this, try to work on detail, it makes for a more interesting story and character and makes it more enjoyable to interact with your character cor other RPers.

Crim, my friend, I love you. The spacebar is your friend, dude! I can't get past two lines of your post before my eyes start switching the lines back and forth, making it pretty unreadable. (The site's coloring is the main cause of this, though.)

Anyone want to summarize that, besides 'BOOM'?

Persona made two explosions: One in a Construction Corporation the other a News building. Now he is holding up a bank, but doesn't want the money... also there is a second bomb in the now Silver's Construction threatening to topple the scraper in two minutes. Two of the heros have attempted to take action against Persona who is shifted into The Joker.

Mmm...
Better. Some grammar and spelling issues here and there, but it is understandable. I think that the personality can be included, seeing as how each Red Lantern has a different past and has suffered different things. Even though they're all joined together by rage, they're still different somehow. Bleez is cunning and sneaky, Rankorr is a bit more logical than the rest, and Atrocitus.... well, he's Atrocitus xD.

You're in.

No necessarily. If you say that your guy allowed Persona to leave then he could be free.

Abaddon wouldn't do that though, and his most recent actions require a response of sorts...

I know, I might introduce Scorn shortly.

Hope I'm not too late

Name: Greg Mantle

Alias: Ironclad

Gender: Male

Age: 38

Powers/Abilities: Despite possessing little formal training, Greg is a natural genius when it comes to engineering. He did not use these considerable skills until recently, when he built his suit of powered armor. Though crude, it is very durable, able to protect him from attacks and harsh environmental conditions. It also enhances his strength, enabling him to lift objects weighing several tons. The suit is armed with an electrified grappling hook and a high powered welding torch. Though it allows him to run almost as fast a car in straight lines, it is much less agile than even an average person. The haphazard nature of the work makes the armor prone to malfunctions, especially when hit with a powerful electrical shock. The suit is perpetually a work in progress, and by now Greg has gotten quite good at repairing damage using basic materials. If he had good supplies and a few days time, he might even be able to add a new feature to it. When outside of his suit, Greg does not posses any notable combat skills other than some basic "brawling" techniques from his youth.

Personality: Gruff but honest, Greg is not gifted with any innate understanding of politeness. He doesn't really care much about fitting in, and is always suspicious of authority. Despite this, he still has a strong sense of right and wrong, and will protect the weak at all costs.

Backstory: Greg Mantle came from a lower class family in an industrial town. He loved to tinker, but never paid much attention to school work. He didn't finish high school after getting expelled for starting too many fights, even though he was just standing up for others. He found a job at the steel mill, and moved out as soon as he had enough money. The work wasn't intellectually stimulating, but the pay was enough for his needs. Eventually, he found a wife and settled down. For almost two decades, he worked at the steel mill and raised his children with his wife.

In the last year, Greg's life took a marked downward turn. The town's economy had been suffering in recent years, and crime grew worse. The steel mill announced it would be closing and laying off all workers, further dampening the mood. As his job prospects looked grimmer, Greg became an alcoholic to cope with the stress of daily life. His marriage began to fall apart after he discovered his wife had been cheating on him. After a nasty divorce and several rounds of layoffs, he found himself unwed, jobless, and homeless. Greg lived in the towns junkyard, and began to tinker to pass the time, gradually building his suit of powered armor. As he was finishing it, he realized what he could use it for. His town needed someone to help, after corporations and governments had failed so bad. Having lost everything he had, there was nothing holding him back from a hero. Greg donned his suit of armor and became Ironclad, leaving his old life behind.

Alignment Status: Good, but doesn't like to work the police
