Okay so I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with this idea I'm slowly creating in my mind...I've been pretty hooked on the TV show Once Upon a Time (am I the only one out there that finds Mr. Gold/Rumplestilskin strangely sexy?) and I know I want to do something with those characters...I just dont know what yet. I guess I'm asking if there would be more interest if we took the whole Storybrooke Curse plot and just kept it going or if we could all come up with something entirely new...what do you guys think?

So after thinking on this for a bit, this is what I want to do. I want you to chose a fairy tale character, one that isnt widely known or one that is the most popular. Thinking of someone? good. now put a twist on that character. it can be a twist some other representation has done or something completely new. once you have a twist, write out this characters backstory (at least a paragraph) and MAKE IT YOUR OWN. these fairy tale characters need to be fleshed out and realistic in order for this to work. an example would be little red riding hood. shes actually the wolf and the red cloak keeps her from transforming. I would then go on to say what happened to her parents and why she lives with her grandma eetc etc. (Not saying thats who I'm going to be, it was just an example).
Once people start posting characters we will be able to come up with our own tale...im very good at stringing characters together and creating plots and twists...so lets do this!

If you like a certain representation of a specific character (like, if you love the way Once Upon a Time did Rumplestilskin) then by all means use that character if you would like; just be as true to that canon as you can be.
