Not sure if you mean this in a negative or positive way, so I'll answer both.
For negative flavor of the month, as in the person everyone shit on for a while, I'd have to give it to darthwarman. That guy was ridiculous and fun to slap around.
For positive, as in the person who was the golden child of Spam for a time, I'd probably go with idlehands.
66. General spam question. What can I do to not get overlooked so damn much? I appear sometimes, but when I do, usually I'm treated the same way as when I'm not posting. As in: Not there. It's pretty annoying sometimes.
Be active and be expressive. If you want to be noticed you have to do something to catch people's eyes. Bland posts are easy to just skim past without ever paying attention to who posted it. Crack jokes and make people laugh and you'll be noticed pretty quickly. Sharp wit can also help there, but it usually requires that you take part in some argument and cut someone down with style to actually get noticed. If you're just traipsing around posting boring shit then you'll get buried under the people who are having fun and fucking around. I dunno who you are so I can't say exactly why you're not getting noticed, but my general advice should apply somewhat.
Oh, also, easy way to acquire attention is to provide some entertainment service to Spam. Run a game (not like "rate the sig above you" or shit, a real game with actual rules and effort on your part involved like Rabbit Doubt or Blorbs style games), draw pictures of your interpretation of people, offer to write poems espousing their glories, do an after action report style playthrough of some video game where you put Spam people in there as characters, write some kind of goofy play or story with Spam people as characters, so on and so forth. There have been a lot of people who acquired popularity just though doing something fun that got the people around here involved, so it's worth a shot if you feel like putting yourself out there and doing the work required.

Depends on who writes it, what genre it is, so on and so forth. Just having Spam characters wouldn't be enough of a draw for me to instantly want to read it.
