Neither would Eli. Seeing he was conceived from a rape, and then his sister, yeah. He'd probably just burst like a waterpipe and let the waterworks flow.
And then start stabbing people again.

Damn, I feel like I've brought down the mood of the thread considerably. Sorry, everyone.

Thank you, Spriggs. I really appreciate that.I mean, tentacles and stuff are all firmly in the realm of fantasy, but that isn't, and there's a very distinct difference... Damn, I feel like I've brought down the mood of the thread considerably. Sorry, everyone.

Everybody Loves Raymond..... just not sprigs :P

I was thinking about having it be a piece of his soul, maybe half, making him unable to use his soul wavelength much in autonomous combat, but while keeping all of his limbs. If not, then he can lose his arm.
CirusArvennicus said
No, it must specifically be a body part. Also, weapons can't use their soul wavelength in combat. So, his arm is favored? Alright.
chukklehed said
Who is this Raymond you speak of. I wish to meet him, he sounds like a cool guy.
Jivusa said
Autonomous weapons can. Justin Law and Giriko did, a lot, in the canon series.
Yeah, his arm is a good, reasonable sacrifice.
chukklehed said
Justin law is a death scythe, and I don't know who the other one is.
Imperfectionist said
Those guys were also Death Scythes, however. Once you reach that point, things are a little different.

Jivusa said
Giriko wasn't a Death Scythe. He was, though, a fairly strong Autonomous Weapon.
chukklehed said
Giriko wasn't totally autonomous. He could form his chains by himself, but to use his would wavelength he needed his gollem, which contained part of Arachnae's soul.

Jivusa said
Okay, well, maybe not Giriko. But Justin Law did. Law Abiding Silver Gun.

And, voila, the original argument comes back. Justin's a Death Scythe.

By the way, why not make Eli something outrageous, like a Guillotine, if you want him to be autonomous? He doesn't seem to have any reason to NOT have a Meister...
