[IC] HCL 2: Twisted tinkers' triumph

As Mithias pulled back to capture and contain Alucard, he was shocked to find the force of his pull had actually severed Alucard's arms right off. More shocked was he when he changed his own form back to normal and found the black good was attaching itself to him, draining him painfully. He cried out in pain and staggered backward, struggling with the stuff. He tried to summon the Jiguntou, but found his strength and speed were sorely lacking. At best he could attempt a parry. It didn't look good.

"Ah! And I'm... Mithias Vaormere, argh... 'impudent whelp.'" He grimaced and fought to stand, until Bug's yellow-magic-whatever freed him from the black gooey parasite. He blinked and gathered back his strength while Bug attacked from the front.

"Most impressive. I must commend you, insect. That is a truly magnificent blade." Alucard raises holds his blades to the side as he watches the blade rush towards him, moving backwards simply to delay the point of impact. "Very well. Allow me to grant you an honour unbefitting of a kind as foul as yours. You have grasped the blade, and you have witnessed it's power..." Alucard stops, as he raises his leg for a kick, smiling, as energy begins to gather. "Allow me to show you mastery."

"Jigen Tou."

And as Alucard kicked, his leg shifted between worlds, like a chainsaw. Slicing through all in it's path, an unstoppable force. And reality was ripped before it, as the shifting chainsaw of worlds shot forwards, projected through the air, a shimmer of deadly energy. It strikes the blade, and a hissing screech can be heard as the blade clashes against itself. Bug's sword is enveloped by the wave, as it passes through, like a knife through butter. And moments behind, Bug's head is neatly severed from his shoulders. It drops down, and cracks open like a watermelon, making a faint 'splat' sound.

"A fitting death, for an insect trying to rise above it's place."

Mithias' jaw hit the floor and he was stunned. Standing there, holding his own dimension-cutting blade, he felt like he was standing against his own reflection... or rather, Aono's reflection. "What?? ...You can use Jiguntou, and you know how to become one with it?! How? WHO Are you??!" The vampire took a defensive stance, knowing what Alucard was capable of with that technique.

With a bit of a spin, Bug's body landing, going limp. It spazzes a few times, before slowly going still..it looks to be the end for poor buggy boy...

Just kidding. Slowly, the headless body picks itself up, and crawls off, silken threads beginning to form around it. After a moment, a large cocoon of silk is now covering the body, as slowly something happens inside.

Alucard simply sighs, as he raises one of the two blades. "Did I not tell you? I am the Lord of Vampires. And unlike others who may claim such a title, I have earned it not by heritage, nor by politics." He flings one of the blades, and it pierces Bug's body as he crawls away, rapidly expanding as control is released, an immense pillar of flames engulfing Bug. "I gained it by being the greatest." His other hand becomes wreathed in purple, as Mithias recognizes the Jigen Tou. And yet, equally, he could feel a voice inside his own mind, pressing forward, from a place deep within his soul.

~It has been a long time since I smelled this much blood in the air~

The voice was not Aono's. It was Alucard's.

The cocoon is engulfed in flames, and reduced to ash in a moments notice. It seems for once, someone was smart enough to follow though with their killing, rather than putting it by the wayside...although what remained of Bug's head is gone.

Mithias was openly confused, yet he had to act fast to save what remained of Bug. He dived forward into a roll, coming up to pick his blade under the handle of the hot fireblade that pierced Bug before it could expand into a pillar of flame and flung the thing wide off the building side. The heat was intense, burning Mithias' skin as fast as he could reform it. Mithias then rolled up onto his feet next to Bug's wounded cocoon, , his pyrokinesis putting out the flames. "You are not MY lord, Alucard. You have no right to destroy and devour whoever you will. I'm sending you back to whatever hell you came from." He split his own sword into two, one dimension-eater and one soul-eater, and attacked with all seriousness.

"What good is a weapon if it doesn't get the chance to kill?" Theta asks

"Perhaps we could use gunner as bait?" I suggest "or maybe just searching for him. Chances are wherever he is, Theta will be."

"Holy shit it's still going?" Asura asks

"...If you do truly wish to not follow me, at least keep this with you." Kilroy says, handing her a blue tooth ear peice esq device. "This will allow me to comunicate with you, if I need to warn you of something." Kilroy says, holding it out to her.

"....oh, that's proper devious...." Tsubaki says, grinning, and typing on a holographic keyboard.

Soon, Maka's cheek has a perfectly round circle though it....and then the other cheek as well. "...That laser is stronger than I thought." She says, whining a bit.

The sound of sniffing gets closer and closer, and then suddenly a red hound bounds out of ... somewhere and jumps on Maka, pushing her to the ground. Stryggy sniffs again in her face and sighs dejectedly. "... I can't see anything."

Theta takes it and puts it on "thanks." She says

"....are you sure killing theta is a good idea?" I ask

Asura hugs maka tightly "at least it's over now." He says

Kilroy smiles. "No problems Lady Theta." He says, before vanishing though the portal. Then Drac appears behind Theta. "..So, Tsubaki's out for you eh?" He says, possibly scaring the crap outta her.

"She's a threat to me...I mean, you've seen the times she's gotten me infected with her DNA.....nearly turned me...do you want me to end up like that?" Tsubaki asks, seeming hurt by his doubt. In reality, she was doing what she does best...playing with emotions.

Maka is pounced on, letting out a scream, Stiggy catching her off guard. "EEEEEEEEEEEEP!" She says.

"....are you sure killing theta is a good idea?" I ask

Asura hugs maka tightly "at least it's over now." He says

Strygwyr growls threateningly at Asura as he attempts to hug Maka.

Strygwyr hops off of Maka and looks unhappy, not sure of where to go. He seems lost.

Maka clings to Asura, scared relatively badly, but soon, a knock sounds on the front door, and the seeker of blood can smell it...who ever it is, is either bleeding, or has shed, and covered themselves in blood.

"....Asura...I wish to speak with you." Saeid says, sounding a tad..angry.

"Oh crap. What happened?" Asura says. Sounding annoyed

"I ran into an old friend of yours apperently...a man who wrote a few of the books I found in that old school...a fellow named..Stein?" Saeid says. "....He and his daughter sorta..well....showed up, and tried to zombify me...I noticed he was a bit..mad...which I've read is your sthick. Mind explaining this, Mister Asura?" He asks, sounding annoyed. "...Well, he sounds a bit miss-informed..." Maka says, still sorta hiding behind Asura.

"...you watch yourself Asura. I've read up on you..whatever change you went though, I accept..but as someone far smarter than me once said, evil never truly dies....if you do go off the deep end again, and come after me..don't expect me to hold back." Saeid says, starting to walk away. Maka lets out a sigh. "Paranoia apparently is abundant lately..." She mutters, still hiding from the Blood Seeker.
