"if such a weapon exists then we shall destroy it along with all others like it. there are other methods to solve the problem." mute replies evenly as she glares at matt, nathan able to see her rage flowing off of her soul like a physical force, pushing him back into his chair subconciously, giving a hint that the stronger combatants amongst them were beginning to awaken their souls though the catalyst for such a change is unknown. However, her rage also shows that even though he viewed them as monstrous people they did still despise such things as weapons of mass destruction... also, the physical manifestation of rage is also obviously subconcious (in case i wasn't clear enough)

"Such as?" Matt chuckles, as he leans forward, feeling the rage push at him. However, his contrary nature forced him to confront it, despite knowing that Mute could kill him in an instant. "Whilst I admire your excellent moral fiber in such a barren situation, the Tyranid I held in captivity were able to become completely immune to my weaponry in less than a day. If you believe your worlds are safe, then you are a fool. They will adapt to counter your technology, and soon the security of your worlds will be breached. If you truly believe that there are other means to stop these beings, then I'm open to your suggestions, but I can't think of any."

He sits down, and raises both hands. "Only a weapon of truly massive destruction can deal with this threat. Killing a fleet will only slow them down, and make them more powerful. This isn't an army, it's an infestation. One that can regrow completely, unless it's all wiped out at once."

"Honor is irrelevant to the situation. If he is the cause behind this, then he must be dealt with using whatever means necessary. I will not abide by the suffering of others so that you may hold up your lofty ideals." Alice steps forward, confronting Mithias. "The girl can be protected afterwards. However, even if she should die, the death of one is nothing compared to the death of many. It comes to those with the power to change things to make the hardest decisions, and to make the choice that saves the most people. It is impossible to save everyone, and to doom all for one girl is foolishness." She had expected more from Mithias, in whom she had thought to find a fellow warrior. However, someone who placed more value on their ideals than on lives wasn't worth holding a sword, in her opinion.

"As much as I hate to admit it, he's right. If his weapons failed, our will, given time....we need this weapon." Nathan says, leaning forwards against the rage, his nature giving rise to conflict of sorts, at least on a personal level. He looks mute over. "...You're strong, but nowhere near strong enough, so calm down, before you are made to."

"There was answers everywhere, you all never though to truly look for them...." Jessica remarks.
"Not really, you set most of them on fire." Gunner retorts, with a bit of a smirk, and she growls. "I'm going to set you on fire in just a moment, so wipe that smug grin off of your face...." She says, though clenched teeth.
"Always so feisty.....to bad you didn't have a strong ba-" Gunner starts, before in an explosion, Jessica manifiests herself physically.
"I AM GOING TO MURDER YOU!" She yells, and Gunner simply smirks. She then starts to get...rather.....worried. "I...just....made it so you can touch me...."
"Yep....."
"....This is gonna hurt, isn't it?"
"Oooooohhhh yea......."

mute seems a bit confused about the last part, her rage fading slowly before sighing and saying evenly "i do agree with the sentiment, however, what i don't agree with is what he'll do with the weapon after the tyranid are wiped out. we've been through many alliances, many universes, and each time a species has gotten something like a weapon of mass destruction they have not hesitated to turn it on us once we'd helped them defeat whatever force required such a thing. in short, i agree that such a weapon is needed, i don't agree that it should spring only from one source, and such an untrustworthy one at that. i would be much more content were the weapon to come from you nathan" she replies evenly, leveling her gaze on the emperor, most likely shocking him with the trust if he was the sort to not expect it

Raising an eyebrow, Nathan scratches his chin. "Point made...no offence Matt, but from the reports of your interactions with other species have been...worrying, to say the least....Well, there is...one thing, possibly, we could do. It would...make me, the WMD." Nathan says, thinking. "If I could be..brought before these things, I may be able to destroy them all...But we'd need to make them ALL show up in one location." He adds.

Matt sighs and nods, not surprised to see their mistrust. However, he knew not to push the point. "You think you can kill them all if we can gather them all together? I estimate there are at least 4 hive fleets, more if they've gotten a hold of any worlds recently. The only way I can think of gathering them is some form of psychic beacon." He thinks to himself, tapping his fingers on the table. "If we were able to somehow influence the hive mind that connects these beings, then we might be able to get them to gather. However, in order to do that we would need an incredibly powerful psychic being. Personally, I can't think of anyone with the power to achieve such a feat."

"See? She gets it, Honor isn't worth sacrificing results..." Ozzy says, clapping a bit. "Those soul shards..though, they may give us a way in." He mentions, grinning. "Mind convincing your friend to give them up?" Ozzy asks Alice.

Scratching his chin, Nathan snaps his fingers. "I know someone who could, he's a mutant..or, he was in my universe. He had long red hair, and was able to control minds using a special lobe developed in his brain, due to his mutation.....he was able to force me to a stop with his mind, and he wasn't even winded.....might he be strong enough?" Nathan asks, looking around at the two.

Mithias blinked at Alice. "'...the cause behind this?' What do you mean? This?" He gestured to Hell. "I honestly don't believe anything in Ozzy's realm has anything to do with Bob." He growled lightly at Ozzy. "I can only imagine what lies this demon has told you. But regardless, you're right about one thing. The lives of many are worth more than the life of one. Personally, I don't understand how killing Bob is going to save li... Uh... Erm. Actually... " He paused, as if realizing something. His eyes sparkled for a moment. "Maybe you are right." He hoped Bob wouldn't yank on his soul until he fully realized what Mithias was planning. He sighed in apparent reluctance. "I may be willing to help you find the girl, but!" He made a dramatic effort. "This goal of this mission is not to kill Bob. We can barter with him for Drac's soul, grr, as much as I hate Drac for what he's done, but no harm is to come to the girl. If you also want to try to compel Bob to spare some other lives... well then I am not opposed to that.
I'll warn you though, I left Bob's daughter behind after the fight, and I have no idea where she would have gone to."

Ozzy crosses his arms, growling a bit. "..I smell a lie." He says, before sighing. "You most likely don't want Drac to be back, I get you like Bob, Mith, but my father was justified in what he did....Bob's tortured his friends, family....done horrible things to him. It wasn't unprovoked, it was reactionary.....maybe you should tell your red suited friend to stop being such a cunt, and these things wouldn't of happened." Ozzy says, growling a bit.

Mithias gives a mocking, defiant look at Ozzy but doesn't confess. "I said i would help you, but only so far. Regardless, Bob isn't showing up here. No way in Hell."

Alice raises an eyebrow. "Why do you protect this person so? And what do you mean, he is not responsible for this place? Is he not the person who created it?" She looks over to Ozzy. "And why are you carrying part of this Bob? I demand that things are explained to me here, demon. I will not aid one who relies on deceit."

Ozzy and Bug began to squabble, the two getting in each others faces, and starting to scream in a strange language no one else could decipher.
Lisa floats over to Alice, and pokes her, her finger feeling like someone just stuck a nearly molten rod of metal into her flesh. "Hello, I'm Lisa......Who are you?" She asks, smiling

"I've been waiting for this..." As he utters these words, Michael extends his right hand toward Jessica, grabbing her with what appears to be a skeletal dragon hand enveloped in shadows. His grip is like steel, beginning to slowly increase the pressure, bringing her agonizing pain as he slowly closes his hand, deciding to keep her guessing as to when he'd end it.
Noticing the light in Michael's eyes had dulled, Ven knew that whatever Jessica had shown him may have caused him to snap over to the side of himself that the Keyblade wielder had come to grow wary of. "If things get out of hand, I might just have to stop him myself.."He thinks.
Sensing something slightly off with the brains of the group, Vanitas cracks a smile, feeling as if the tactician had finally come to his senses and embraced his darker self. Ventus would have no choice but to do the same if this were the case.
