Name- Little Hoof, Not his given name but he's taken to it as a personal symbol of his new life.
Species – Pegasus, though now wingless
Gender – Male
Coat/Eyes/Mane/Cutie Mark: A Steely grey pegasus with once large, powerful wings. Cut from him as a sign of his disobedience to House Stormwing. A scar lays diagonally across his face going from above his right eye to almost all the way down his neck and few more lay across his chest and fore-legs. All are signs of him adjusting to combat on land. Quite large for a pegasus, larger than your average earth pony with a very sturdy build that has only grown stronger since the loss of his wings. A Bright red mane and tail, both cut short in a military fashion. His eyes area similar shade of red. His armor, instead of the traditional shades of orange and brown, are dyed red. He is almost never seen in public with out his full armor, or at least the core body piece that he wears to hid the ragged ugly stumps that were once his wings.
Catching a good look at LH's cutie mark is easier said than done given how rarely he is without his armor. That being said; At first glance it appears to be a simple dark storm cloud, the dark black mark standing out even against his dull gray coat; but in the right light the full detail is apparent; that being the clouds outline has a clear hint of silver.
Special Talent: Always a realist, but ever the optimist. LH Speciel Talent has always been finding the silver lining in misfortune. A good trait to have in these bleak years. Many ponies have lost the will to push on or the hope that anything could ever be as it was before. More than anything it gives him the strength of will to survive another day, to fine the good in the hard choices he must make, and give him the courage to commit to dark paths for greater goods.
Occupation: Earthborn Captain, Jugernaught divsion, Leads his own unite.
Affiliation: Eatherborn
Personality: Anyone would be hard-pressed to call LH gentle. Sturdy, focused, and unwavering moral conviction. He is a rock before a storm and believes he can weather anything the world can throw at him as he already has. He is constantly trying to walk the line between a good soldier and a good pony. He will struggle with his choices off the battle field, but he will do everything for his command when they move out. There is a vicious ferocity inside of him that he has learned to tame mostly through discipline; but glimpse of these blood streak can been seen when he is pushed into a corner in combat. It can lead him to make bloodier choices for victory than he would normally be comfortable making. Once he will struggle with back in camp.
While he grapples with the direction of the war he does believe that unity could be possible through force. He certainly doesn't trust in these new so called gods who think that showing up after the amount of blood has watered the fields of Equstria can be trusted to restore the once glorious kingdom. No, Equestria must be reformed by her own. Not strange alicorns who could just as easily fade to who knows where as suddenly as the princesses had.
He has a deep respect for the Earthborn ponies, especially the core leadership. Even though he buts heads with the trigger happy Lighting Dust he still holds her in regard. That being said he isn't 100 percent on board with all of Applejacks policies. She finds her aggression towards the unicorns overly extreme and a dangerous weakness. A chinches in armor of what would otherwise be a excellent leader.
Other: Little Hoof armor is somewhat lighter than his fellow squad members. Only natural given his difference in size. Heavier then medium armor but not quite as sturdy as the plate the rest of the division wear it if far more likely to develop dents and damage after battle. He is rather glad he spent so much time in a blacksmiths before returning to war as he can make most of his own repairs to the combat armor.
Back-story : : Given his nice powerful wings and strong build he had been training to be a weather pony dealing with handling intense and dangerous conditions, but as the chaos of war descended on Equstria and the leaders of the Pegasai populous declared the rise of House storm born and the intention to try and bring restore order with force. His size and strength quickly landed him a place among the heavy lancers, one of the largest of their rank, and his skill and knowledge of weather quickly allowed him to advance into a respectable rank of one of House Storm wing's most active unites.
But all that changed the day him and his forces were ordered to flood ponyville with a terrible storm. He could not bring himself to be a part of such an action. Even if there information was true, he could see civilians and foals in the city. How could he justify such a drastic action on so many who were clearly innocent? Sadly no other stood against the order with him, and he was punished harshly for his disobedience. They took his wings and placed him among the Fallen. This sat poorly with Little Hoof, while he did fight alongside his fellow fallen pegasai, the more he thought on the actions of his beloved house Stormwing the more he became firm in his belief. He had not betrayed Stormwing, Stormwing had betrayed themselves, their principles, and him. So with that he deserted. For a time traveled mostly aimlessly, unsure where to turn or what to do next. All he really knew was that he must keep moving. For disobedience they took his wings, for going AWALL he knew they would want his life. As he got further away from the Pegasus borders, he encountered some Stormwing scouts that recognized him as a fallen, and knew that now regiment of fallen were ever deployed so deep into a border. They attacked him with intent to execute the traitor, but he managed to kill them instead. Though victorious he was heavily wounded and the last thing he remembers before collapsing is seeing the floating air balloon of earthborn design in the distant sky.
Next thing he knew he was waking up in an earthborn camp, being treated for his wounds. He met with several of the earth born leaders, who questions him on his origins and where he came from. Most were unsure what to do with them. Fleeing civilians was one thing but it was rare for a proud pegasus to abandon the Stormwing ranks. It was not till Applejack interviewed him personally to prove his sincerity did they decided he was trust worth and offered him a place among the people of her house. Once he was better, he felt the need to repay their kindness and decided to work in the forges. Working in the forges and observing the earth born way of life and came to have a respect for their ferocity and ingenuity. Eventually he pledged himself to earthborn military, and left the forge feeling his fighting skills would be of better use to the House. He demanded to be a Juggernaut, even though he fell a bit under the high and weight requirement. Their style of combat was closest to his heavy lancer back ground and he would not take no for an answer
He was put through a great deal of test to prove he could cut it with them, during which he earned the mocking moniker of 'Little Hoof' from the Juggernaught Ranks. He enjoyed making them eat their words. He passed all their tests and won the respect of many of the massive ranks. But given the detachment from his old place in the world and he refusal to disclose his old name he took Little Hoof as his new name.
Over time, with the help of his more refined and extensive military training received as a Stormborn officer he became a Captain and leads his own squad.
