It makes sense though - they got a beach-head, but lack sufficient numbers for a prolonged war on land. The best they can do is raid, and they must move fast for that.

I'd say a couple of days considering their moving by river on longboats and there are about fifteen total boats. Some with supplies while the rest hold well ponies. I'm also having a said deal with Bovir. he'll make it to where the ships are within a couple of days. First stop is the Fortress of the Moon to do some recon and gather some recruits.

Though now rumors of an alicorn is about in Earthborn, I'm sure the Scholarship is going to send someone to make contact.
