Characters
(Note: Finishing up my history for both twins and figuring out a description for Sven's Titan form.)
Name: Sven Vogel
Age: 15
Appearance: Sven stands at 6’2”. His slim figure is only leanly muscled, just beginning to develop into its future potential. His face is angular, with a slim jaw line, thin lips, and curved, somewhat thick but neat, eyebrows. His russet brown hair is cropped down this his scalp, with only a shiny sheen for proof that he does in fact have hair. His eyes are a true gray color and stand out on his smooth olive skin. When out of uniform, Sven can be seen in a rugged brown shirt, with dark brown trouser. As such, to look more…groomed…he most often wears his uniform, a white cotton, button-up shirt, with the cropped jacked of the Survey Corps (previously the Trainee Squad), white trousers, and his knee high dark leather boots. While Sven can appear deathly serious at times, when he is relaxed, his face dons an amiable expression that invite people to his presence.
Personality: Sven is friendly in a way. Out of battle, he is often relaxed and open, easy to approach and talk too. However, serious situations often call for a serious façade, and those are the times when Sven is most likely to change his demeanor. Sven appreciates the little things in life and tries to appear more optimistic, if not for himself or his friend, for his arrogant sister. His one biggest fault is his anger, which is prone to exploding if provoked enough. Sven is also very passionate, though he may seem more goofy and foolhardy at first look. His serious side is often severely serious, as he becomes deadly silent, taking a complete turn from his usual self; and yet during these times he can still be heard making goofy quips, breaking this morbid personality, and make for a strange, almost split personality type of facade. This is most confusing to his comrades; many of them think he has developed a disorder or a coping mechanism of sorts from mental pressure and the passing away of his father. Sven doesn’t seem to notice the change, though his sister has prompted him many times to be aware of the way he acts when things get dangerous.
History: Sven's history is not one completely different from the common civilian. Up until age seven, Sven had lived a relatively normal life. Or at least as normal as the life of a child living in the Wall's gets. Specifically Wall Rose. His twin sister Beatrix was his only sibling from his mother, Charlotte, and his biological father, Chase, and with good reason. While his father served in the Garrison, the family could only support the four of them, and therefore, his parents withheld from having any further children. Like many children, it was the Titan's attack on Wall Maria that changed the dynamic of the Vogel family. Sven's father died that day, in the most commonly, unheroic fashion possible. He had died eaten by a Titan, remains not found. That changed both Sven and Beatrix. Sven became determined to succeed where his father had failed and avenge him, and Beatrix became determined to escape her father's faith, make a better life for herself. This resulted in both twins enrolling into the Military Trainee Squad, much to their mother's disdain. There's a part of Sven's life that he can't remember; fuzzy memories that float in and out of his head. But he's unsure of what they mean and tries hard to forget about them. Sven has grown since his entrance into the Trainee Military, and ranked number six from the top ten. Since they've left, his mother has remarried a butcher and given birth to a younger half brother, Axel, age 8, and a half sister Diane, age 6.
Offensive Skill: 8/10
Defensive Skill: 4/10
Strategic Skill: 6/10
Teamwork: 10/10
Weaknesses: Sven is prone to diving headfirst into the battle. While his strategic skill helps to balance out his headstrong approach to fighting, his low defensive skill is often a hinders him and place his life in danger. Even worse, his serious battle attitude makes him likely to disregard orders if he feels his way is the better. In part it is also his compassion for human life that controls him; he doesn't believe in leaving comrades behind, and doesn't believe in taking innocent lives for personal gain. However, he is not above gutting those he perceives as evil, a fault that can cause problems in the future when it comes to finding out information.
Skills Unique to Your Character: Sven is a people magnet, and a strong tie to have, especially when put with a team that does not work well together. He will force himself to get along with others, even those he has an aversion too. Sven's other less battle worthy skills are his affinity for animals and his skill for making fast friends.
Titan: Like the female Titan, Sven's Titan form depends on a slender, very human like frame, for a combination of speed and strength. He seems to retain some form of intelligence in this form, though it's more akin to animal intelligence rather than human conscious, i.e., his Titan thinks slyly, but instinctively, and is not above harming allies and friends, if Sven cannot maintain control. The forms itself is slender, akin to a lean muscled man. It's head looks similar to Sven's, though with more tendons showing, and a mouth line that looks relatively human until Sven opens his mouth to full capacity. His head, like Sven's is a slick black sheen, close cut to his scalp. Due to the Titan's affinity for speed, and lessened muscle mass, his higher output of intelligence seems to be a defense mechanism for fighting titans who are more thickly muscled.

Name: Beatrix “Erika” Vogel (Only called Beatrix by Sven; is known as Erika by everyone else.)
Age: 15
Appearance: Beatrix, or as she prefers, Erika, is a complete change from her fraternal twin brother. Her blonde hair is streaked with natural blends of brown and her eyes are dark brown and unreadable. She has high cheek bones, and, like her brother, a slim jawline; yet somehow her face is rounder and more feminine. Erika has a sharp, but small, nose, and thin arching eyebrows. Her lips are another feature that is similar to her brother's; thin like his. Her hair is often tied in a messy bun and pushed out of in front of her face. Her eyes, which are dark, can seem unnaturally perceptive and unsettling, and it is not common for people to shy away from Erika. She stands at 5'6", and is slim but shapely. She's got a pretty face, and olive skin, but her 'leave-me-alone' attitude often doesn't garner many suitors. Since graduating, she can often be seen in Wall Sina sauntering around in her Military Police jacket.
Personality: Erika is not afraid to speak up and speak out against what she thinks is stupid. :That does not, however, mean she is always right. Erika only fights for her beliefs and in a way, is selfish, often not thinking of others, even her brother who is constantly looking out for her. Where her brother is bitterly upset over her father's death, Erika is shamelessly embarrassed, often claiming that if her father had, had an inkling of skill in his pinky finger he would have escaped with his life. Really, she is just as upset at her father's death as her brother is, but has found a different and worse way of dealing with it. Erika can often appear heartless and just out right mean. If it wasn't for her brother, she would likely be avoided. There are few people brave enough to bare her brunt manner of speech, but those who do are often rewarded with seeing a, sometimes, more jovial Erika. Not "hahah" jovial, but smile cracking jovial. Before her father's death, Erika was a much happier girl. Many things have changed for her.
History: Her history is the same Sven, with minor changes. Unlike Sven, who seems to find his purpose in being compassionate and helping others for the greater good, Erika is all about looking out for herself. Her raw skill has only benefited her, and, ranking number one out of the top ten, she has gone on to be a part of the Military Police Brigade.
Offensive Skill: 10/10
Defensive Skill: 9/10
Strategic Skill: 8/10
Teamwork: 5/10
Weaknesses: Erika's weakness is fairly obvious. Even though she often forces herself to do it, her lack of willingness to work with others can put her at the mercy of trouble, especially when she goes off by herself. Her arrogance and superiority complex can often cause her a fight, as, regardless of skill, everyone is prone to making mistakes, herself included. Erika does not think with her brain; only her instinct, going in for the kill, rather than waiting for the optimal moment. This is different from her brother, who often has a dive in attitude, but remains levelheaded and strategies.
Skills Unique to Your Character: Brooding.

Name: Daschiel “Dash” Grissom
Age: 15
Cadet Graduate Rank: 3
Appearance: Raven black hair, that he keeps relatively short on the sides, but a little grown out on top that he slicks back. His mother always styled it that way. Its more work than he prefers but its another thing he can do to try and maintain some of the normalcy from before the fall of the walls and his enlistment. 5’11, athletic lean build, he was a chubbier child but came into his body as he grew. The extra weight stretched out proportionate to his height. His strong brow, hangs ever so slightly above his eyes that make them average in size with a slight squint, however they are the most noticeable thing about him when light illuminates his hazel irises. He develops a furl on his brow often when he is in deep thought…which is almost all the time. His nose is a slim divider of his faces symmetry and is almost like an arrow to his mouth. A slight underbite to his lips can be attributed to a strong and square jaw that is a bit elongated creating a more mature look than his age would imply. Since joining the cadets it would be rare to see him out of his uniform. Since joining the Survey corps he has accented his uniform with the standard issue green cloak and hood, but also a green bandana which was made from an evenly cut strip of cloth cut from his issued cloak which makes it shorter in length than when issued. He almost got in trouble for the accessory but was able to convince the C.O. it was an attempt to combat dust and debris from effecting his vision or breathing when riding a horse during assignments or maneuvering through the air with his omnidirectional equipment.
Personality: Dash likes to think he is a amiable person, but his personality reflects his natural abilities. He is constantly observing, and analyzing but amongst people it can make socializing kind of difficult. In a word, he’s neurotic. He enjoys interaction amongst his fellow cadets but he is always looking for the correct or most beneficial course of action amongst them all which generally just makes it awkward and worse at times portrays him as unauthentic in his compassion for others, which couldn’t be more untrue.
History:
The Grissom family lived in the Mitras district. Colin, Dash’s father was a merchant who often traveled to sell his wares. Many men worked for Dash’s father and when they came of age so did his two older brothers, David and Dolph. Dash was young and fairly uninterested in his fathers work. His brothers mostly teased him about it saying he was the runt of the litter which at the time he was, but also that he wouldn’t be able to join the family business even when the time did come. Dash’s mother, Elara, would often admonish them saying that Dash’s future may just be brighter but also that they should only hope that Dash’s disinterest remained or else in time they would be answering to him within the family business. Dash only showed a disinterest in the business and did not idolize his father as his brothers did because he was not informed at all of it’s ongoings. He knows what he was told but in truth had no idea what his father actually did, or what his “wares” even were. In hindsight was it his place to even be curious? He was well fed and provided for and encouraged to explore any endeavor he fancied.
Dash’s father and brothers were slated to go on a long trip to provide support to refugee’s in some of the other districts. He listened to the whispsers of the adults around him, their disbelief in the titan attacks, or the blatant ignorance of those effected simply due to their unfortunate residence amongst the other walls. Elara decided she would help herself by providing refuge to a family while the men, excluding Dash, were away on their good will trip.
The “family” that joined them in their home was once a large farming family, topping out at 7 members. The father had worked for his father many times in the past, but out of that 7 only the mother and their youngest daughter joined the mirroring remnants of his own. Dash was astute however and he could immediately detect the difference. Dash and his mother expected the rest of their family to return. Their visitors exhibited no such expectations, not even hope.
Dash became as friendly as he could to the girl of about his same age now living with them, but she was variably introspective, and rightfully so. There were good days and bad days. His mother’s attempt with her mother yielded the same results.
A few years later the solitary return of his brother David thinned the divide between the two family’s fortune. David would barely speak upon his return and was escorted to the family home by the Military police. His mother was informed that their father and her middle child Dolph were missing. Before becoming a recluse to his room in their home, in their father's house, David provided one message to Dash and Dash alone. In staggered words he exclaimed, “Father said he would protect us. He said he had to stay for Dolph, that he would protect Dolph until he could recover. He said for me not to try and comeback for him, not to send any of our men back for him.” Dash interrupted his brother, “For them, David.” David’s eyes went wide and his mouth dropped with a surprised awe. He hesitated with his next words, “So maybe thats why, little brother, he said you and only you could be the one to bring them home.”
David pushed Dash out of his room shortly after, and did not repeat what he said to anyone including Dash ever again. A year past this way and while their newly adopted family that somehow grew closer to them due to now shared tragedy got a little better, David’s condition just deteriorated.
Dash developed a sense of purpose in this time, however in secret from his mother who would have surely tried to talk him out of his intentions. The only person he shared his brothers proclamation with was his now best friend Amelia, the young girl who he had now experienced so much with. He devised a plan to leave and join the Military and the scout regiment to find his brother and father, as he was informed only he could. He was relying on Amelia to explain to their mothers after he was already gone. She didn’t want him to go however, so she foiled his plot by informing his mother the night before he planned to depart. His mother had packed the things that she wanted him to take and waited for him outside the house. She hugged him firmly and kissed him on the forehead. Crying she bestowed her faith within him, faith he did not expect, and ordered to him, “Bring them back, pup, bring them back.”
Offensive Skill: 7/10
Defensive Skill: 8/10
Strategic Skill: 10/10
Teamwork: 6/10
Weaknesses: With the ability to think thoroughly and analytically he can hash out effective means strategies on the fly, but sometimes he over thinks creating hesitation so in battle situations this could be a crippling fault.
Skills Unique to Your Character: Titanshifter, Technology Buff (He’s very astute to the inner working of machines. Been looking for a way to improve upon the omnidirectional equipment ever since he received his own set, currently no results.)
Titan: Dash’s titan form is 15 meters, most of his human features remain prominent but warped within a more ferocious and predatory version. His hair is now completely gone on the sides of his head and only a thick slick strip of his hair runs flat down the middle like a stylish mohawk being wider at the front of his cranium and sliming to a point at the end. His pronounced brow becomes a bit more primitive and where his eyebrows were bone protrudes horizontally. His eyes glow a deep and haunting amber, much how they do in his human form but as if a light was permanently placed within them. The nose mirrors his human form but scrunches when his mouth is opened due to its wide and seemingly profound gait. His teeth mostly sharp, especially his canines, are visible to where they meet the hinge of his jaw. Skin is there when he first titanshifts but is ripped open with the first opening of his mouth. His chin like his eyebrows are coated in bone and as well as his elbows and knees further down which are both slightly elongated creating a bit of a sharpness and point to them. The rest of him maintains a human like appearance as much as a Titan can.

Name: Aurora Hertz
Age: 15
Appearance: Aurora stands a mere one-and-six-tenths meters, that is five-feet-and-three-inches, from the tip of her head to the soles of her boots. She moves with an utterly bubbly jump to her step; her hair, which is shoulder-length and curls at the end, bounces as she moves. Her skin is fair, yet maintains a hint of a Mediterranean olive to it. Freckles are scattered across her cheeks on either side of her nose, upon which a thin pair of rectangular and wire-rimmed glasses rest; behind them lay deep emerald-green eyes. Her brow rests high on her face, making her eyes appear larger than average. Gracing either side of her face are ears whose size fits that of her head, simply average. Her bust is small, there being nearly two inches, i.e. five centimeters, difference in her bust-to-chest measurements ; they are severely underplayed by the loose-fitting button-up shirt whose hue is a light pink. Donning her shoulders is the standard tan jacket which cuts off at the bottom of the bosom; on it is a patch bearing the Wings of Freedom, the Scout Regiment's iconic symbol. Draped back over her shoulders is the green cape, standard issue to members of the Scout Regiment, it too bears the Wings of Freedom across the back. Looping around both shoulders and crossing at the bust and waist, crossing over the pelvis, then looping twice around the thighs and down the leg are the straps of the harness for use with Omni-Directional Mobilty gear. Draped from the hips to the middle thigh are the brown skirts of the uniform, underneath which are a pair of light-grey trousers which reach down to be upstaged by a tall pair of dark leather boots. On the eve of a mission she sits atop a light-brown speckled horse whose name is Adelaide, holding onto the reigns and the regulators for her ODM gear at the same time; hung from her waist on either side are sheathes for her blades which shine brilliantly against the sunlight. She pulls her hair back in the front with a white bandana, knotted firmly in the back. Her smile at this moment is almost unnatural, one simply can not help but feel comforted by it.
Personality: Aurora is an almost unnatural optimist, counting her blessings always she excels at finding the good in a situation, not to say she doesn't have her spells of angst. She has a kind, motherly heart inherited from her final years at the orphanage taking care of the refugee children. At times she is best described as spacey, with a short attention span she is prone to day-dreaming and her analytical skills are less than average. Not just outwardly, but inwardly as well, her optimism isn't simply a façade, but rather her entire world-view. During studies, she's of fairly average intellect but due to her child-like philosophies and general spaciness she's often portrayed as an airhead. Aurora enjoys, above all other parts of her job, simply sailing through the skies with ODM gear; the feeling of moving through the air effortlessly brings her immense joy and she can often be heard exclaiming her joy as she slices through the air. Strangely enough, the idea of the death of her friends and comrades doesn't strike her as upsetting, quite the opposite, even as she watches as comrades are cremated after a battle she has a smile on her face and her tears fall not out of giref but out of happiness in the idea that she'll reunite with them one day.
History: Fifteen years ago a young girl, not yet in her teens, worked as a maid for a minor noble whose residence was in the western countryside between walls Sina and Rose. The noble's wife had recently passed and the noble's heart was aching, as the girl brought him sweets to feel better he looked at her with longing eyes. In the middle of the night, he called on her to his bedchambers and ambushed her, conceiving a child by her. The bastard child was named Aurora and taken on by the noble who had the mother executed in secrecy. The child was reared as a young lady until the age of six when a disgruntled servant of the noble let the rape and death of the young maid slip at a dinner party hosted at the manor. He was taken into custody by members of the Military Police and arrested. Later, of course, he posted 'bail' and returned to life at his manor. Aurora, however, was relocated to an orphanage in Mitras, as she grew her memories of noble life grew foggier and foggier until all she knew was her happy quiet life in the orphanage. Wall Maria broke when Aurora was five years old, she barely remembers a time when the threat of titans wasn't a pressing matter, as such she left to join up with the 108th Trainees when she was eleven; pressed by the tales of the older refugee children in the orphanage before they too left to join the Trainees, she bids adieu to the matron alongside many other children whose hearts were turned by tales of brutality and the threat against humanity. Unbeknownst to her to this day, a year after her leaving the orphanage was destroyed and the residents were crushed during the fight between the Female Titan and Eren. Training went by fairly uneventfully, utter average in just about everything, though perhaps slightly below average when it came to tasks that required great concentration. When the announcement of the rankings came Aurora was sixty-eighth on the list, yet she still joins up with the Scout Regiment whose survival rate is lower than low and whose numbers have swelled since the advent of the Titan-Shifters.
Offensive Skill: 7/10
Defensive Skill: 4/10
Strategic Skill: 4/10
Teamwork: 10/10
Weaknesses: Aurora tends to be naïve, often being tricked into unpleasant situations which she would have perceived as being innocent or safe. She has nearly fallen into the arms of one-too-many potential human-traffickers, child molesters, and other things that stalk the night. She also has a short attention span, often falling short on cuts during training for being distracted by butterflies fluttering by or something similar.
Skills Unique to Your Character: Living in the orphanage and having many of the children leave at the age of eleven left Aurora plenty of time to work the kitchen, as such, she knows plenty of practical ways to prepare delicious food from simple ingredients and is an accomplished cook.

Name: Jemma Lovelock
Age: 15
Appearance: Jemma's time as a trainee has given her a healthier physique. Her once nearly emaciated figure has become a bit fuller. At five feet two and just ninety-five pounds, she's still quite slim, but with her preference for speed, it works in her favor. Jemma has a rounded heart-shaped face with full cheeks and tapering chin, small and slightly full lips, and button nose that give her a slightly childish look. Her eyebrows are neatly trimmed, and her icy blue eyes are framed by thick and messy lashes. She's quite pale. Despite prolonged time under the sun, she can't seem to tan, even though she really wants to. Her ash blonde hair is unnecessarily long—she's aware of it—but sentimentality has been preventing her from cutting it. Memories of her mother happily brushing her hair always surface when she contemplates cutting it, and she just can't bring herself to do it. When on duty, she clips her bangs up so they don’t obstruct her view and ties her hair up in a messy ponytail. She also has a habit of putting it up on a bun when things get particularly intense or when she gets fired up. If not in her uniform, Jemma usually wears a knee-length skirt paired with a blouse and low cut boots. She also lets her hair down or braids it.
Personality: Sprightly and good-humored, Jemma takes on the world like she has nary a concern. She has this playfulness about her that almost seems out of place with the current times. Very little perturbs her. She can get behind anything, even (or especially) the most bizarre of ideas or exploits. If it's fun, she's in. Breaking the rules for the sake of the greater good, or what she thinks is the greater good, doesn't bother her at all. She thinks it's even necessary sometimes, as long as it results in something better for humanity. Despite her apparent lack of concerns, she is not an optimist by any means. It's not like she thinks everything is fine as it is. No, Jemma knows dying is as likely to happen as anything else, and that is precisely why she makes the most of every day. Her mother has taught her that life is precious, and one mustn’t waste the time given to them. True to this, she's constantly on the move, doing whatever she can to help others or better herself. Her devil-may-care attitude also stems from her acceptance of their fate. She hasn't resigned to the thought of dying in the hands of a Titan—hell no—but she believes cowering in fear of them is useless. The reason she joined the Survey Corps in a heartbeat is because they have the chance to make a difference, and that's what she wants to do more than anything.
On a slightly different note, Jemma is surprisingly easily flustered when it comes to more personal matters. She has no trouble speaking her mind, she may even be a little too straightforward at times, but she doesn't know how to react when she is sincerely regarded. Joking around and playfully showing affections with others is fine. Any crying or genuine display of affections makes her panic. She is especially horrible at dealing with compliments or praises in particular, and cannot talk about her mother without being reduced into a mess.
History: Up until she enlisted as a trainee, it had always been Jemma and her mother. She's sure she had a father at some point, but he left them before she could start remembering things, so he's just a faceless figure to her. One that is unworthy of ever having received her mother's love. They lived in a small south-western district in Wall Maria, only a short distance away from Shiganshina. After the breach, not much of the town remained intact. She and her mother barely survived. Their house had collapsed, and they were buried under rubble, but her mother squirmed her way toward her and managed to pull the two of them out. They were then rescued by a pair of elderly men, both retired members of the Garrison, who gave them quick first aid treatments and honorably carried them all the way to where the ships were evacuating citizens. Jemma watched as the two men go back to find more survivors, only to get crushed by a large boulder that was hurled right where they were going.
After she and her mother migrated to Trost, their living conditions became gradually worse. The injuries her mother received from the breach had made her weak and ill, and it was evident that she wasn't going to get better. Jemma did whatever she could to make her mother comfortable and healthier, even furtively giving her most of her ration of food, but she made very little difference. Her mother would pass on not long after, and for a while, Jemma was utterly broken. She ate even less than usual and stopped speaking, could even feel herself withering away, but didn't care at all. Death had seemed like a better alternative at the time. It wasn't until a man approached her—one that she would later on figure out was a human trafficker—that she snapped out of her debilitating grief. He had pulled her by her hair, and that triggered memories of her mother. No matter how ill she had been, her mother never stopped doing what she was still able to do. She still smiled and lived her short life to its fullest. Suddenly empowered, she screamed as loud as she could and wildly bit down on the man's arm, refusing to let go even as blood filled her mouth. Before long, some nearby guards came to her rescue and arrested the man. That was the day she enrolled into the Military Trainee Squad. From then on, she refused to let herself wallow in grief and started moving forward. She worked hard to improve herself and despite her occasional mischievous stunts that got her punished endlessly, she was able to breach into the top ten, earning the seventh spot.
Offensive Skill: 9/10
Defensive Skill: 3/10
Strategic Skill: 8/10
Teamwork: 6/10
Weaknesses: Jemma is small and skinny. Even with her training, she isn't nearly as strong as the other trainees—she'd be hard-pressed to win an arm-wrestling contest, for instance. She also has very aggressive and reckless inclinations in battles, sometimes bordering on idiotically risky. While her instincts and quick thinking help her ingeniously maneuver around an opponent, she also frequently leaves herself open to attacks to get to the best vantage point. Memories of her mother are also dangerous. If she's lucky, being reminded of her mother would empower her like it did before. It's more likely, however, that she will suffer from a panic attack. It's been years since her mother's passing and she has been actively trying not to think about missing her. She worries that she'll somehow revert to the broken girl if she does.
Skills Unique to Your Character: Agility. Jemma is quick, mentally and physically. She uses her light frame to her advantage and has excellent control over her 3DMG, allowing to move strategically about in a battle. Although she usually acts on instinct, she can also process information fast, so she never hesitates over her decisions. Out of battle, Jemma's a pretty good tension reliever. She can be unintentionally rude and all, but she has an infectious smile and laugh that help lighten up the mood.

Name: Xavier Du'Garde
Age: 15
Rank: 4th
Appearance: The big man. Standing at an easy 6'1", Xavier does not stand particularly high above the average man. However, with a chest like an oaken barrel, doorframe-jamming shoulders, and fiery red hair he certainly was easy to pick out of a crowd. Combine that with the fact that he had managed to maintain a small amount of his stomach even after the military training and it soon became apparent that the man was simply built big. He kept his hair about two inches long and spiked straight up from his rounded head, adding a few extra inches to his respectable height. He had a broad nose and smaller ears, giving him an almost bear-like appearance. His eyes were a vibrant green, and though he often was smiling in an almost goofy manner, those eyes were sharp and clear where they sat under his moderate brows. He had the beginnings of a beard growing, and often shirked a shave for a few days, giving his face a bit of a shadow along the point of his rounded chin. Despite his larger, stocky torso he had slightly longer limbs than most, which accounted for a good bit of his height. His uniform did not quite fit properly, and there were visible stitches along the sleeves and legs where they had tailored on another inch of fabric. He has iron set into the soles of his boots unknown to the superiors, it allows him to swing with greater acceleration once airborne.
Personality: Intelligent if not clever, and wise if not quick. That was the best way to describe the red-haired man. He was reserved, though friendly if approached, and rarely spoke unless he felt it was necessary. The more observant recruits would notice that he rarely missed a detail, and could often be found silently watching his companions and their surroundings for any sign of trouble. He moved with a bumbling sort of grace, always on the verge of bumping somebody or tripping over himself, but never quite managing to do it. He was an odd fellow, to be sure, and it was rumored that he talked to himself when he was alone, mumbling half-concocted arguments to his own thoughts.
In battle he was slow but extremely precise. He could predict enemy movements well before they made them and pick out holes in their defenses. However, due to his size he was not terribly fast and thus had to cautious when making his move. He disliked sending others into harms way, even when they may be better suited for a job, and would only do so if it he was entirely unable to make the attack himself. He favors his right arm often, and sometimes will use his cloak as a makeshift sling if it becomes too much of a bother.
History: Xavier does not talk much about his past prior to joining the military. The few things that have been gleaned are that he is a carpenter's son, his family is from Trost, and he plans to join the Survey Corps in order to help protect the people. He has a severe distaste for the Military Police, and tends to become tight- lipped and grim when asked about why.
Since joining the 108th recruit squad, he has become a well-known figure. Initially it was for his broken arm, which he suffered during one of their first trails with the maneuver gear, crashing into the ground at a bad angle. He was nearly dismissed from training, but when asked to leave he simply refused. He is quoted as saying. "I can fight better than half of these recruits, with only half of my strength. I am not crippled to the point of uselessness." He was allowed to stay, but was given half rations for two weeks for disobeying orders.
His right arm, which was expected to make a full recovery after some time, did not heal properly because he continued his training. Now his grip with every finger save for his index and thumb is fairly weak. He cannot deliver a strike with a sword without both losing his grip and causing himself considerable pain. Without a second sword to swing, the damage he could cause to titan targets was minimal. He had to score perfect hits on the first swing in order to be effective. It's rumored that he never was never hit once during training aside from the self-inflicted injury to his arm. He neither affirms nor denies this rumor, though a few of the higher ranked recruits know he was beaten rather soundly on a couple occasions.
He graduated as the 4th ranked recruit of the 108th, due mostly to his uncanny ability to predict and avoid the movements of his foes and work well with any team.

Weaknesses: Due to his heavier size, Xavier tends to run out of fuel for his maneuver gear faster than the smaller recruits, and his flawless sense of honor keeps him from allowing anyone to die if he has any power to stop it. He would sooner have himself killed than a friend, and it compromises his impressive ability to stay alive and unharmed. He sustained a severe injury to his arm during the first few weeks of training with the maneuver gear, and cannot properly grip a sword with his right hand.
Skills Unique to Your Character: Having lost the ability to strike heavily with his right hand, he instead prefers to use the blades on that side of his body as projectiles, and has become extremely adept at whipping them into nearby targets. His left arm also has a considerably stronger strike capability than most, though the chance for a lethal blow does suffer from his lack of a dual sword system.

Name: Adreana Vangot
Age: 15
Appearance: Adreana stands at 4' 3'' and has a more or less leaned posture to her. Her pure black hair goes to shoulder length and it spikes outwards, seeming a perfect fit with her grey eyes. Although they are grey, sometimes in the light they appear a light blue. Her breasts are only of small size, making it easier for her to move around in general. Her brow goes a bit lower than most, making it seem that she almost always looks serious, which she mostly is. Her ears are slightly pointed at the end, like an elf's, which often confuses people. The tone of her skin is pale and her body all around is quite delicate and small. Her nose is quite small and sharp along with her lips, making a nice fit with her body. Because of this, she's very floaty, almost like a bird or perhaps a raven. Her feet are quite small, making it easy for her to slip and fall, so she's almost always on guard. Her shoulders are quite sloped and she doesn't have that much strength in her arms. Even though she knows this, she loves to get her hands dirty once in a while. Since she's so small, she can be easily picked up and carried around which is sometimes useful. Her uniform somehow fits her alright, which she's glad about.
Personality: Her attitude towards her superiors is kind and respectful while she despises everyone else. Even though she's cold on the outside, on the inside she's like a giant fluffy toy, making some people get confused by how quickly she can change moods. People say that since she broods over things and seems out of focus a lot that she's a idiot, but she's the exact opposite. She knows her wits although she prefers to keep most things a secret. Sure, sometimes people end up getting her to accidentally tell something she wasn't supposed to, but that doesn't happen often. She can get embarrassed easily when you say the right things to her so she tends to try to avoid things that could lead to her blushing.
History: Adreana was originally from Trost District and she lived with her parents for a while, who owned a bakery. They soon kicked her out because of her interest in joining the Survey Corps. It was fine with her, since they hated her to begin with, Soon later on, she managed to make a living by herself. She didn't care what happened to her parents from that point on. She wanted them to be killed, being eaten by a titan. As she thought of this, she laughed, slightly going insane.
Adreana had joined one of the squads, but she had forgot the name of it accidentally in one of her training sessions. She had a short-term memory, so she could never remember stuff easily. She seemed to balance better than most, or at least in her opinion. Adreana always thought of others as idiots during training, because some of them had no clue what they were doing. Once, she accidentally said something that would scare most people off and she had to have half portions for a week. All because of this one person who was screwing around. She gave the cold shoulder to those who messed around. They were like children. They deserved to be eaten, in her opinion. Sometimes she would most likely be tempted to push, trip over, or knock the people who annoyed her on purpose, so they would act properly for once. Sadly, it never worked. They just glared at her and then walked away. Even though this happened, she continued to train, trying desperately to ignore the idiots around her.
Offensive Skill: 5/10
Defensive Skill: 8/10
Strategic Skill: 6/10
Teamwork: 4/10
Weaknesses: Sometimes she tends to slip into thought and stall on things, especially when she has just brooded over something that may not even be that important. Also, she tenses up and doesn't move as much when she feels something bad is about to happen, which would probably end up to her being killed.
Skills Unique to Your Character: Adreana can endure most things for a longer time than others, making her resilient in most of her actions. She's also good at running, playing musical instruments and singing.

Name: Silas Marks
Age: 15
Appearance: Silas is built small. He has fairly narrow shoulders, a lean torso, and long legs. At 5' 7”, he isn't real tall, making everything proportionate. Although small in stature, he still has a layer of lean muscle on his frame. His short, light brown hair maintains a care-free style. Like everything else, he has a lean face with soft, almost feminine features. Silas' forest green eyes are complemented by thick eyelashes. A small scar, about an inch long, is faintly visible next to his right eye. Besides that, his light skin is virtually unmarked.
Personality: Although he has a friendly, charming demeanor, Silas tends to shy away from groups of people. He tries to keep a distance from others, not because he is anti-social or anything, but because he is scared to have friends that will most likely be killed right in front of him. Despite his efforts, he can't help but enjoy the company of others. He forms strong bonds very quickly. Actually, he's really quite gullible.
He is often quick to act out on emotion. He is protective and maybe even a little possessive of his comrades. Early in his enlistment, Silas was often caught in fights. His outstanding performance in a select few fields, such as his ability with his Maneuver Gear, kept him from being kicked out, though just barely.
Many of his friends call him “Silly”, though Silas seems to have mixed feeling about the nickname.
History: Silas grew up with having a relatively normal life. He lived with his mother and brother inside of wall Rose. Both his father and eldest brother were in the Survey Corps, though both were killed when wall Rose was breached a few years ago. Although he was still very young, Silas wanted nothing more then to protect what was left of his family. He grew up with a strong sense of responsibility.
Silas has no doubts when he decided to enlist. However, his surviving sibling, Simon, was very disappointed when his younger brother made this decision. He said no person as kindhearted and gullible as Silas belonged in the Military.
Though part of him agreed, Silas was convinced it was the only way he could really learn to protect anyone. Thoughts of his father and brother still kept a sense of unease in his mind, but he doubted they would ever go away. He would always second guess, but that's just how life works.
Simon disappeared a few days before his brother left for the trainee camp, leaving nothing but a note that simply read “good luck, Silly”.
Offensive Skill: 8/10
Defensive Skill: 6/10
Strategic Skill: 4/10
Teamwork: 8/10
Weaknesses: Silas is easy to manipulate. He is overly caring and protective, (almost) always putting others before himself. Although Silas means well, a person with bad intentions could easily persuade him into doing their ill biding.
Skills Unique to Your Character: Silas is very skilled with his 3D Maneuver Gear. His smaller size makes allows him to be very agile. During training, Silas scored at number two in this area, though he was bumped down to number nine when his other scores were added in.

Name: Willow
Age: Unknown
Appearance: Unknown
Personality: Silent, aggressive like most other Titans, Willow has a peculiar problem where he's plagued by random fits of sleeping or lethargy when not in combat.
History: Not much to say here, set aside the fact that he's been asleep for what could only be considered a very long time.
Offensive Skill: 7/10
Defensive Skill: 8/10
Strategic Skill: 2/10
Teamwork: 1/10
Weaknesses: Chinks in his armor, his eyes.
Skills Unique to Your Character: Willow has a particularly thick shell of armor, but with obvious gaps running along the surface.
Titan: Willow, being an armored Titan stands at 15-25 meters tall and has a thick shell of tan armor, atop Willow's head is a fairly long mane of black grimy hair that runs down and over the back of his neck, being fairly bunched up and messy due to him being a Titan and not having much in the means of cleanliness it tends to be fairly thick and hard to move against. Willow's mouth (when opened) always billows out a few small pillars of steam, along with whatever open space there is in between Willow's armor. When he's begun to become tired, or has stressed his body too much, the plumes of hot steam begin to become much more thick, and cover a majority of his body, sometimes enshrouding him in a thick mist.

Anka (Survey Corps; 27)
Anka is a small wiry girl with thick, curly, strawberry blonde hair, and glossy brown eyes. Contrary to her appearance, she is stern, and in charge of the newly graduated cadets from the 108th Trainee Squad. She's a steady leader with a firm hand, just right for a bunch of wild teenagers.
Bernhard (Survey Corps; Age 34)
Bern's loud and boisterous, except for in battle. He seems optimistic most of the time, but his gaunt face and messy black hair state otherwise about the state of health. it's clear that stress has taken it's toll, but he's still going. Bern had a family, but his wife left him after he transferred from the Garrison to the Survey Corps. Now he only has the Corps to call his own.
Fabian Survey Corps; Age 15)
A quiet and sullen boy. He the type of person that's pessimistic about life, always saying what isn't needed. His can't do it attitude often left him isolated from the rest of Trainee Squad; however he's got a big brain, perfect for strategics. In the most recent breach of the Wall, he lost his right Arm. But, watching his teammates has given him hope. He's joined the Survey Corps as a strategist, but has been barred from on field work due to his impairment.
Axel Bachmeier (Civilian; Age: 8)
Axel bares little resemblance to his older half-siblings, with curly, jet black, hair, thick eyebrows, and a freckled face. His chocolate brown eyes are the only feature connecting him to his older siblings; namely, Beatrix, who's eyes are the same. Axel is a courageous and, at times, uncontrollable boy, but keeps his distance from his siblings, maintaining the idea that they've abandoned their mother. This is partially due to their absence, as well as, likely, influence from his father.
Diane Bachmeier (Civilian; Age: 6)
Diane is a small lithe thing, quite and well mannered. Unlike her brother, she's still too young to fathom the idea that her siblings have abandoned them and has a strong connection to both her older siblings, much to Axel's chagrin. She looks much more like the Vogel family facially, with brown hair, thin arching eyebrows, and thin lips. Her eyes, however, are the bright blues of her father's.
Charlotte Bachmeier (Civilian; formerly Vogel; Age: 40's)
Charlotte has long, wiry, brown hair, and warm brown eyes. Charlotte is a sweet tempered woman and a providing mother, always looking out for her children. She's not happy with Sven's choice to the join the Survey Corps, but her heart still swells with pride for both of her children.
Albert Bachmeier (Civilian [Butcher/Hunter]; Age: 40's)
The new head of the, formerly, Vogel, household, Albert is a plump and jolly man with curly black hair, an overwhelming beard, and deep set blue eyes . He's amiable. Most of the time. At least to his wife and his two young children. But he's distant with his two step-children, acting more like a friend than a father. His son, Axel, seems to be adopting his attitude towards Sven and Beatrix.
