Depending on how early I wae up I can be one as early as 9 am (+3 hour difference so noon). I errands to do late in the afternoon so I have to be off around 3 to 4 (+3 hour difference so 6 - 7). In any event I'll be free all morning to early afternoon. We don't have to finish every thing tomorrow anyway as long as everyone's had their round of fun, things explained, and questions answered we can return to our normal posts.

After the conversation Maddie will be taking command of the situation. She'll basically say something along the lines off "We'll head north by north east. Hopefully we find land before it gets dark.". Like I said or imp[lied before though I kind of want to have them spend a day out in the ocean before they start seeing any of the foliage from the overgrown swamp.

I don't mind the sap really as long as it's not everything is too sappy. This story is a dram so internal monologues, wise sayings, and enlightened moments are common occurrences.

I'm rather displeases with Summer in this post. I don't know why, but I still can't figure out how to properly write her dialog. I'm going for an immature and somewhat naive voice, but surprisingly smart and strong willed. Also I need to work on transitions more since the back and forth form Summer to Alex is kind of weird.

Also, I think there was a bit of a misunderstanding in my post. Maybaleen was actually addressing Maddie, not Summer in the end, but I can see this scenario happening too with all the confusion and miscommunication that can easily happen!
And I think it's good to have a character like Summer. So many people dismiss the "mary-sue" character because they're unrealistic, but what's unrealistic in my opinion is expecting to encapsulate a character in a CS or a few posts. It takes a while to flesh the character out. To figure out their strengths and weaknesses. So don't try to force it all into one post. After all, a person in RL goes through phases of weakness and the like.

And it won't be too crazy sappy. No worries. ;)

EDIT: Okay so I actually need to wait for you to post first since we still need to get blue team out of the dome and into the open space where their rafts are touching.

By the way to avoid confusion on the whole dome/tent/raft thing I think we should refer to them as separate things for now to avoid confusion.. I'm thinking, We say raft when we mean the enture boat, dome for the large dome shaped building, and tent for everyone's personal room. Is that okay?

EDIT 2: IF we don't get to do this today you can go ahead just make a normal post. Our first goal whould be to get everyone out of the domes so they could all meet each other.

I wasn't on for most of yesterday and I didn't get up early so I really could do the collab post. I guess for now we postpone it. The question is are you gonna post something while we wait for the confrontation to happen?

Moving-out was easy. I still have to move in, so I'm living with family for a week until my new lease starts up and I can move-in to my new place on Sunday.
This week my schedule is kinda rough, so I apologize in advance: I don't think I'll be on at all tomorrow. I'm good Wednesday & Thursday until 4 or 5 pm (EST). But then until next Monday, I'm busy with family and moving-in.

But I can write up a little thing tonight. It might not be impressive, but it'll help smooth things out.

I forgot we could always do that, but I suppose Titanpad isn't really made for collaborative writin g that takes place over days. I think it's more for in the now kind of collab writing. Anyway if you are up for it would you care to do it over google docs? It worked for one of my group project that needed several writers. All I need is your gmail account.

I'm glad the move went peacefully! :) I understand if you're busy though. I am as well since school will start back up in the first week of September. It's a little late actually, but our fall session will end days before Christmas so it balances out. This of course sucks, but at the least I only have one more session and then I can finally transfer. I'm starting to rant so I'll stop.

By the way this is kind of off topic, but you once mentioned you had classes and work in the same context, I think, so am I wrong in assuming that you're a teacher?

EDIT: A person here that I was supposed to do a 1x1 was the first person who suggested doing it via google docs and told me that since it can work nearly any time the people can do a full scenes without having to take breaks from posting.

lol. I'm actually a University student, but I teach ESL on the side as volunteering. I also work two other jobs, so no worries. We'll be busy pretty much the same time, so it sounds like it'll work out for the both of us.

I'm cool with google docs, too. (I use Scrivner (a word processor) on my computer for my creative writing, so I think I just forgot to paste what I had written already to TP).

I'll usually on at nights these days and past midnight, which is bad because it would F up my sleep schedule once classes start. I don't really know yet until I sort things out here.
On that note how are you on cussing in character? I feel taht it's more realistic given what's gonna happen.

I'll get to working on it. It'll mostly be dialog and exposition so in theory it should not be that hard. I'll do the whole "I'll tell you everything first and then ask questions later." I'll cut it a few times though so we can make some drama happen between exposition.

By the way how did you make the notes? I'm still new to G docs so I don't how to do that. I'll find a way myself, but I wanted to ask anyway.

Hopefully I can reply by tomorrow. It's hard to do anything here these days since it's so hot in the mornings and afternoon that I cant think of anything to write.
