In the year 2045, mankind faced its greatest threat yet. A creature from another world, another dimension, one that became lost in space and time. Having landed on Earth, in our plane of reality, the massive creature displayed hostility against mankind and so caused destruction and chaos wherever it went. At that time, humanity was well adept in the use of technology, and so relied on their mechanisms to defeat the otherworldly creature. Unfortunately it proved to be insufficient in killing what would become known as the Great Beast.

And so began the Forever War, a conflict that many predicted would only end with the extinction of the human race. But hope was still present in the hearts of man, and soon their prayers were answered by the divine. On May 7th, 2049, a young girl named Sachiro Harime was visited by an almighty and unseen force.

This force referred to itself simply as The Dyteniteity. A being that created all realities and all worlds, including this one. This omnipotent presence saw sympathy within the human race, as even the Great Beast was naught but a child stemming from The Dyteniteity. And so the gift of Unity was trusted to Sachiro. The elaborate combination of both science and the arts, to utilize and craft with magic and technology side by side into transcending force.

Using this pure blessing, Sachiro paved the way for mankind's victory and defeated the Great Beast. Rejoicing at last, the Forever War had rightfully closed to an end.

50 years later.

It is now the year 2099. After the events of the Forever War, mankind united as a single race and a world wide government known as the Ultimatum was established. A young girl at its birth, the late Sachiro Harime was now a woman of prime youth who rules over the Ultimatum with the granted title of "The Superior." Under her rule are her four knights and generals of Ragnorak, loyal ones that directly serve and carry out her will: Yggdrasil, Asgard, Midgard, and Nifilhiem.

The Ultimatum holds simple goals: to protect the civilizations of humanity as well as store any and all information regarding the human race: the world's largest library. The gift of Unity has been shared with all humans, and are now mass produced through devices called Tomes. Literal manifestations of the blend between magic and technology, Tomes allow the user to summon forth the inner confines of one's soul and materialize it into solid shape. From weapons and tools, to just being a literary safekeep, each Tome is specific to each person's soul.

And so, peace reigns supreme in this bountiful and beautiful world built on Unity.

Or...so it seems.

A terrorist calling themselves "The Librarian" is reeking mayhem and disrupting the peace, all in the name of "liberation". Petty riot groups have been put down before, but this being has eluded the Ultimatum for months now, claiming that the world's protectors are nothing more but oppressing frauds.

As the fires of a rebellion begin to ignite, you find yourself caught in the midst in all this ongoing chaos. Will you fight for the order of Ultimatum? Or do you choose to rebel for "freedom"?

The fate of the world and all Unity lies in your choices.

What are Tomes anyway?:
Tomes are devices manufactured and distributed by the Ultimatum on a global level. Their purpose is to simply assist in the control of Unity potential lying dormant in each and every person. Hence forth, they summon the true essence of one's soul and gives it physical form to utilize. Tomes take the initial form of books with blank pages. Depending on the person's soul, a Tome may manifest into a variety of things. From a weapon to a pencil, Tomes choose the one object that most represents that person's soul and proceeds to take that form. Each person is different, and so each Tome has a colored surface unique to each individual.

So where do I get a Tome anyway?:
Artificial and training Tomes are provided by various different Ultimatum hosted Academies around the world. Genuine Tomes can be purchased on the market, all coming in a standard format. The Tome will morph to its user's preference when activated for the first time.

Wait, academies? There's school?:
The Ultimatum seeks to encourage and educate the youth of today by hosting academies that are presenter around the world. Basic schooling as a well as occupation training are provided until students graduate and either join specific ranks of the Ultimatum or simply go into the workforce. Three years are needed for a student to graduate, and a colored emblem is assigned for each year: Blue for first years, Yellow for second years, and finally Red for third years. After graduation, a student is selected to different branches of the Ulimatum of they exude exceptional ability.

So what are the three branches?:
Technically there are four branches of the Ultimatum, each headed and directed by The Superior. Each branch is also personally commanded by the Four Knights of Ragnorak. The branches are as follows: Intelligence Division, Military Division, Judicial Division, and Observer Division.

Knights of Ragnorak?:
Yggdrasil: The Platinum Knight. Leader of the Four Knights as well as the one with the most direct contact with The Superior. Leads the Observer Division. Those in this division have the sole task of personally safe guarding The Superior's life as well as directing the activities of the other three Divisions.

Asgard: The Crimson Knight. Leader of the Judicial Division and assistant to Yggdrasil. Those in the Judicial Division are the most associated with the law and maintaining stability in the world. They are judge, jury, and executioner, doing so for not only the world but also the other three Divisions as well.

Midgard: The Golden Knight. Leader of the Military Division. This Division is solely responsible for enforcing order on a local and global level. They are usaually the ones to end skirmishes as well as flush out potential riots and terrorists. Although it hasn't been called upon, this is the Division that declares war and begins any campaign.

Nifilhiem: The Cerulean Knight. Leader of the Intelligence Division. This Division keeps all of the world's history and records at hand and secured, making them true librarians and scribes. Categorizing all of mankind's past, present, and possible future, they are the historians and predictors of the Ultimatum.

Players fighting for the Ultimatum may do so in one of the four Divisions: Intelligience, Military, Judicial, and Observer. Players fighting for The Librarian are branded as rebels and traitors to the world. Players can only be Neutral if they choose to play as an Academy Student instead. Personality: a hard worker that believes that fate shouldn't be decided by anyone and that freedom belongs to everyone. He fights simply because he believes everyone has the potential for greatness and shouldn't be classified by anyone's laws or rules. He always helps those in need and will fight to protect anyone that needs it, he is a great leader who will smile even in a bad situation and is not afraid to give a good laugh or two in a dangerous situation. although he is one man his belief in freedom stands greater then anyone.
History: he believed in the way that they protected people but he lost all faith when he saw what they did to his parents as they were branded as riot leaders when one of the riot groups used the cellar of our family inn without us knowing, their was a trail but it was all smoke and mirrors everyone so blinded by faith they never listened to my parents word for a minute. once they were put to death I swore I would free people and let them live their own lives. the riot group that was left from them told me they were sorry and told me everything that they knew about the truth of this society and how wrong it really was. I promised them that I would liberate everyone from these chains and let them live the way they want and choose to do what they want.
Tome: Name:cola daga venenosa (Spanish for poison dagger tail) , color: green with a chain on its spine colored yellow, shape: a tome with a bladed chain for its spine, ability: when I scratch myself on the spine the chain will cover my arm and will extend itself into a dagger tail whip with poison on its individual blades and when the poison end is wrapped around my other arm it will be used as a conduit for an electrical based attack using the impulse's in my brain and amplify them to a high enough extent that a lightning bolt will be shot from the chain itself towards my target

Personality:
Aichi has a strong sense of what he stands for and for himself, and because of this, wouldn't do what he wouldn't do, especially in his place as Yggdrasil. He is very protective, not in a personal way, and tends to be disconnected with people, causing him to have social anxiety at times. It is rumored that he has tried to become more than just the Superior's protector and remove the Jester from the picture, but this has proven to be mostly false. While Aichi has a soft spot for Sachiro Harime, he denies often, to keep his performance in peak, tip top shape.

History:
Not much is known about Aichi, beyond his erratic behavior following the end of the Forever War, when a terrorist group known as Predominance wanted to establish their own governing rule by killing off the Superior. Each attempt was single-handedly stopped by the later to be Platinum Knight, who was recognized as Yggdrasil, and began to serve under Sachiro Harime. During the beginning of his career, Aichi worked close with Asgard and Midgard to eradicate any sort of danger which could befall their leader. The next few decades were dedicated to the security of the Superior, and the proper supervision of the 4 divisions.

Ability: The Tentai Henkō is able to collect shards of crystallized ice from the atmosphere and merge it into whatever Aichi pleases - be it a sword or a wall, though it can be draining on people around him, as it uses up an excessive amount of oxygen for breathing.

Name: Cole Carton

Faction: Neutral

Personality: Cole Carton is a not a man, but pieces of one. Full of remorse, Cole is merely on a search for answers that he could not find within the society he was raised within. His curiosity is easily triggered, blessed with the mind of a detective despite his hatred for law officials. He’s a man of many faces and adept at telling lies to compensate for his lack of fighting skills.

History: It was 2095 when Cole Carton’s world both ended and began. It was during a riot in 2095 that Silvia Carton, his sister, died and so did a piece of Cole. But what does not kill you makes one stranger, and Cole Carton’s strange history began here.

Before the riots, Cole was as straight as an arrow and on his way to one to becoming an exemplary officer in the Judicial Division. His older sister had dropped out of the academy at a young age despite the fact she was a bright pupil after she became obsessed with a man called ‘The Librarian’. Cole had merely brushed off his sister’s obsession as another of her phases, something she would grow out of. Little did he know that her activities would get her shot before she could.

Fast forward two years. After being diagnosed clinically depressed, Cole had immediately drafted into the workforce after his primary education, disgusted at the idea he had once wanted to join the Superior’s divisions. Distraught at his loss, he paid a visit to his sister’s rented apartment during the riots. He didn’t expect to find anything of any use, the apartment complex had been in disuse for over a year since his sister had died. But nonetheless he scoured the antiquated complex in search for answers. For a while, he was at a loss. All physical traces of his sister ever existing at the apartments were either confiscated or too deteriorated to be of use. It wasn’t until he noticed a shadow revealed by the moonlight coming from the air duct in the ceiling that he found his sister’s inheritance in the form of a black suitcase.

Inside of the suitcase were an unused Tome and a note bearing three words. “I Am Sorry”
Armed with grief and anger, Cole made a vow to drag down the Unity that had cost his sister her life. Even if it meant destroying everything and everyone along the way.

Tome: Name - Ocean Mist

Color - Dark Blue

Shape – A small bottle of cologne, simply labeled “Ocean Mist – Breathe Cleaner”

Ability – When the cap is twisted clockwise it releases a fine untraceable mist that can only be detected by the scent it emits, the smell of a calm sea breeze. When the cap is twisted back in place it causes the mist to erupt in an explosion akin to a hurricane ripping through an unsuspecting beach town.
