Comedic Fantasy PBP Game with a RP-heavy Homebrew system [Interest/Signup]

So I am thinking about running a play-by-post game on here. I'll be wanting a minimum of four players to start up, and will take a max of six; though, if somehow more than six people sign up I'll start a waiting list in case people drop out. I'll be using a homebrew system similar to those I've used in PBP games I've ran in spam; if you haven't played a game I've run before just know that I try to keep things simple and leave as little number-crunching to the players as possible. You won't have to learn some crazy new system to play this and can get by without any real knowledge on playing tabletop games; this game will require about as much RPG-knowledge as it takes to play Dragon Quest or Final Fantasy Tactics.

This'll be a fantasy setting with some steampunk elements; I try to keep things comedic-but-epic in my games and will ultimately run this as a sandbox adventure, meaning that I won't be trying to lead you along some ultimate quest which the entire plot is centered around. Your character's will be able to go anywhere and do anything and split up as you wish without me trying to railroad you into some overarching main quest.

If you want to be a part of this go ahead and create your character (Which will require about as much effort as creating one for your average RP) and I'll add you to the roster, once we get four I'll see about making a OOC/IC thread which will contain more info on the system and start the game.

Character Creation

You mainly just need to provide RP info, and I'll use the info you provide to decide your character's starting stats and skills. The world is pretty much uncreated right now, so feel free to write in locations and groups as necessary to define your character and fill out the CS. If there is something I don't agree with, I'll tell you.

Moral Alignment:

A problem that comes up a lot in games is that people have different definitions of good/evil/order/chaos, so please go by my definition:

Your character and another person you don't know anything about are suddenly thrust in a terrible, life-threatening situation. Would your character be willing to lower your own odds of survival to increase this other person's odds (Good), would they be willing to lower this person's odds of survival to increase their own (Evil), or would not be willing to do either (Neutral)?

Is your character completely against crime (Order), would only be willing to commit crime with good reason (Neutral), or do they just actively commit crime without need for an excuse (Chaos)?

Race Name: What is your race called? You can use a generic fantasy/dnd race or make one up.

Race Description:

Anything important I should know about your race? If you are making your own race, then you'll need to give me enough info to get a good idea of what you are wanting from this race. If you are using something generic, then you don't need to worry as much.

Role/Class Name: What does your character do? You can choose something generic as a basis or make something up.

Role Description: Description of what you are wanting from this character. You can use something generic as a basic reference for me, but still need to provide details of just what you are envisioning your character being.

Appearance:What does your character look like? At least put in important details like hair/eye/skin color and any definitive features like hair/clothing style and scars.

Bio: Character history and such, this is to give me some final idea of just what you are wanting to do with this character. Also try to add in some things to work with RP-wise.

Combat System:

This is a vote to help me decide on which combat mechanics to do with. Would you prefer tactical combat, similar to dnd or final fantasy tactics in that you'll need to worry about your character's positions on a map and attack AOE and range and requiring more strategy and thought to play, or simple combat, similar to dragon quest or any JRPG ever and requiring much less strategy. Tactical combat might be more interesting but will take more time to complete, while simple combat will be much quicker.

Name:BamGardo Bywater
Sex: Male
Moral Alignment: Neutral

Race Name: Gnome

Race Description: My definition: Gnomes are short, ranging from two to three and a half feet. They all have brilliant minds, to them building and inventing are second nature. Their physical ability ranges from gnome to gnome and one can be quiet strong, while the other can be extremely wimpy.

Role/Class Name: Engineer

Role Description: Engineers are not competent fighters, thieves, or magic users. Their job is to fix broken equipment and occasionally make something new, if the setting allows.

Appearance: BamGardo is on the shorter side of the Gnome spectrum, at only about two and a halve feet, but what he lacks in height, he makes up for in strength. He has strong, muscly arms. He usually puts to use his arms while carrying his crossbow, which he'll often carry with him. Besides his crossbow, his other prized possession is a very beautiful handle-bar mustache. He is fair skinned with light brown hair. He will wear virtually anything, so long as it's sanitary

Bio: Local wannabe inventor and repair man BamGardo, who prefers to be called Bam, spends most of his time at his local tavern looking for jobs. Since he isn't very successful and has very little money to his name, Bam has taken up hunting. So, if he isn't at the tavern or at home working on a project, you can find him out in the wilderness hunting or enjoying himself. Having only lived in his home town for about three years Bam has little friends and no close family. He isn't quite used to the local customs, as he doesn't talk to many people.

Combat System:Tactical

Me:I wish for a pet. To bend to my will and make medieval cyborgs out of.
Bam: To be rich and famous.

He didn't abandon this and if he did and if I am correct on how he is going to do this, no one here besides me or any other person who played in his previous games are capable of efficiently taking this over, let alone replace him.

Maybe if we were months already in and we continued without the GM my position might be different but since that is not the case, no. Also, I know the GM and he is out, probably for RL reasons and will be back eventually. If this never gets started than so be it. Just means a new interest check will be made and that the RP will start in a different date. We have all the time in the world to wait for him to come back and RP. So, for now, patience is the key word of the month for us.

We might not play it today, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week or next moth or hell even next year, but I know it WILL happen eventually. And it is always the one thing you wait for that end up great.

Race Description:
Catfolk are a humanoid race covered with fur. extremely nimble and quick and experts at climbing and balance due to their claws and tail. Often impulsive and rash when stressed.

Role/Class Name: Relic Hunter

Role Description: A relic hunter likes finding old artifacts. Mainly ones with magical properties but expansive mundane ones will due. Enjoys the research to find the hiding place and the thrill of avoiding the ancient traps.Some are kept for personal use but most are commissioned finds or donated/sold to museums or private collectors.

Appearance: Golden eyes with green speckling. Fur a red gold color with grey stripes on tail.

Bio: Well respected by those who know him Purrcival is making a name for himself in the relic hunter community. He has a nose for finding things and on more than one occasion used unlawful means to obtain information or necessary gear, returned to owner in perfect condition afterward,. What thrills him the most about the hunt is the mental and physical challenges involved. His first adventure killed a fellow hunter because of lack of research. So now he always finds out everything he can before going after a relic. He also is a loner not making friends easily, brushing off conversations, but always looks to anothers safety before his own. often taking more risk to himself than necessary.

Combat System:
prefer simple but not opposed to tactical
