Simon, Anais, Jack, Scovian
"HeyJacknicedaydontchathink?"
Simon bolted around the werewolf, turning the corner with a grin as he raced at a breakneck speed. Behind him, the entire jousting team raced past, the hybrids panting from exhaustion as Diana's voice rang out over the din.
"Through the gardens, almost there, COME ON PEOPLE PUSH!"
Simon grinned and refocused in front of him. Then paled as he saw the team heading straight towards the girl holding a mug. Back near Jack, a lion hybrid clipped the werewolf's shoulders heavily, then growled over his shoulder.
"OUTTA MY WAY MUTT!"
Speeding up, Simon swooped the girl's legs out from under her, lifting her up in a princess-carry against his chest as the...coffee? Soup? He couldn't tell what was in the mug as it splashed against his face, he was just thankful it wasn't scorching hot.
"You'll thank me later!"
The centaur galloped to one side, leaping out of the way as the Jousting Team thundered by. Simon breathed heavily, looking over his shoulder at the team, scanning for runners on the outskirts of the pack who could slam into them. Suddenly becoming aware that he was carrying Anais in his arms, he grinned, lowering her down gently as his horse ears swept back in an apologetic manner.
"Sorry! I'm really sorry, but the alternative was risking you getting....uh....mushed."
He wiped at the liquid dripping from his face, then blinked as he saw the blood on his hand. Did he get hit without even noticing? Was the girl hurt? Oh god did he hurt her when he grabbed her?! Panic for a brief second before he suddenly recognized her.
"Wait...you're...Annie? Angel...Amber...Ana..AnaiANAIS! That's right, you're the girl from the music club! And I'm..."
He looked down at his jacket, now covered in blood.
"...covered in blood. From the mug. Cause you're a vampire. Oh thank heavens, I didn't hurt you. OH CRAP!"
The centaur suddenly cantered off, giving a wave to the vampire.
"Sorry, I have to play catch up now! SEE YA LATER!"
At an alarming speed, Simon sped off, darting into the gardens after the team, unzipping his jacket in mid run and wiping his face off with it, now bare chested.
Nathalia, Ajala, Shippo
The nymph smiled at Ajala.
"They're called Mandrakes, yes. Don't worry, these ones are infants, but a scream could still knock us out, so don't uproot them yet."
She quirked a brow, looking behind the Nagini and crooking a finger at Shippo.
"Come closer sweetheart, choose a pot and get comfortable. You two are our early bloomers. The others should be arriving soon, we're going to be moving the Mandrakes from the pots into this patch over here. Uh...Shippo, was it? You signed up yesterday with the harpy."
Katsu, Andrej, Gideon
A tall kappa walked out of the locker room, a towel around his shoulders as he headed to the pool side, watching the members playing water polo.
"That's weird, I believe you should all be warming up for today's practice. Did you think you joined the Have Fun Club?"
With a harsh blow on a whistle, he started yelling commands.
"Gimme a 400, freestyle, fast pace, in the water everyone!"
Katsu folded it's arms, then glanced over at Gideon.
"Oh hello. You're one of the newbies yes? If you think you can handle the 400, hop in, otherwise take the first four lanes with the other newcomers and do a 200 easy pace please."
Furioskein, Pamela
"You got a water dragon to join the Theater Club?"
Pamela smiled at Furio with amusement, one finger tapping her chin as the doppleganger paced in front of her, currently in the guise of a sharp dressed young boy with pale green eyes and swept back blonde hair.
"Something wrong with that?"
"No no no, nothing wrong with it, just...HOW? They're all so...uptight and formal and...and...blue."
"Very blue."
"Exceptionally blue, but how did you get him here?"
The spider teacher grinned, watching the other theater students filter into the auditorium.
"Oh I didn't. He came on his own."
Ahmose, Miri, Gwendy, Isaac
Ahmose shrugged Miri off easily, then pushed her back with one hand against her forehead, smiling at Gwendy.
"Morning. I see she's off to a fast start this morning..."
"Yeaaaaah...she spent the night alone so..."
"Right. Miri, don't touch me, I have a girlfriend, it'll get me in trouble."
He let go of her forehead, stepping back out of arms reach as a smoldering voice came from behind them.
"Oh, maybe I could be of help then..."
An incubus in a way too tight black t-shirt walked onto the field, bright yellow eyes examining Miri's entire body. The boy had wild black hair with a slight purple sheen to it, and was wearing jeans that seemed almost painted on. A barbed tail swayed behind his hips as he took Miri's hand, kissing the back gently as he gave a fanged grin.
"A lovely thing such as yourself being alone at night? Such a tragedy..."
Ahmose grabbed Isaac's shoulder, prying the incubus off and practically butting heads with him.
"She is here to fly, do not make this harder on her."
"Trust me, the only thing getting harder here is me."
"Isaac!"
"Okay, okay, play time can wait till AFTER the meeting."
The harpy gave a frustrated sigh, then looked at Gwendy.
"I'll keep Isaac on leash if you can keep Miri under control."
"I'm not really into boys Ahmose, but if you insist, a leash may be fun..."
"ISAAC!"
