You can deny the pain, but not for long, even the insane get hurt physically.
But yes, if you would like a more serious reaction, hit them where it hurts with sounds and pictures that may trigger them. Weakening the mentality of the subject will help you get a stronger and more possible physical reaction.

I have no problem with him being pain resistant but he still needs to have a way to be punished. If tying him to a chair and playing music is what works best then I will use that. However it might not be the best choice.

What I mean is if people are sat still in a chair with loud annoying music getting played intheir ears nonstop for hours on end (like lavender town music) they can go insane or other things that hurt them. And yes, with him being insane, there are a few pcitures/sounds that could cause masive trauma, like his father or mother, considering he did kill them

I think I understand and im ok with either tying him up and playing music or showing him pictures as punishment
