She took Katherin's hand and headed for the gym. During the fairly short walk, she decided to ask some things. "So, I take it that you're blind, correct?" She asked. She wouldn't be walking Katherin right now if she could see easily.

"I have always been blind. It has been hard to survive on the streets without being able to see. I was glad when the director told me about this place. I wasn't looking forward to going to jail." Katherin explained.

"Oh. That bites." She said to Katherin, as they were heading for the gym. "That probably was really good for you. How'd the director contact you anyways?

"One of the police men that arrested me was a graduate of the program. He called the director." Katherin explained. "Apparently there a graduates all over the place. People who have learned not only to control their powers but they have learned to blend in and build lives."

After finishing his breakfast, Kyo stood up from the table and took a moment to remember where the gym was. He had been there a good few times before, he was sure, so he walked out of the dining room and headed there.

Upon entering the gym, Kyo stood a little ways away from the door and reached into his pocket to pull out a hair tie. He didn't want his hair in his face if they were doing physical activity.

Alec took Allen's hand after they finished their food and headed to the gym. They stepped inside and hovered by the wall. Alec smiled at his twin, who gave him a meek grin in return.

Chip finished his breakfast and cleaned his face with a napkin. He threw away the leftovers and followed someone who knew where the gym was.

Josephine had eaten her breakfast in silence. She listened to the others go on about their abilities, and some even decided to show them. Instead of showing them what she could do, though, she just filled herself up with buttered toast and bacon. When she had finished, she got up to follow the rest of the kids towards the gym, taking in her surroundings.

"I know some of you have been a couple of days and have already done these but since we have new arrivals we will use today's gym class to work on your past performances. I want I need to get a base reading for what the newcomers are capable of. So today you will all run until you cant run anymore, do as many pull-ups and push ups as you can, and last but not least you will lift as much as you can."

Florica sighed before letting go of Katherin's hand in the gym. She understood it, but it would make more sense just to watch the newcomers. At least, that was just what she thought would make some sense. Oh well. She wasn't part of the authority, so she didn't get that much of a say in the matter.

Sighing, Kyo began running around the gym. He knew that he wouldn't be able to get very far, though, just like all the other times. He would probably only make it a few laps, and he really wasn't looking forward to the pull-ups, but maybe he could actually make it past his record of 1 today. It was best to stay optimistic, right?

...Still, it was hard not to feel self-conscious every single time he did this. The past couple of years before arriving at the orphanage really had not done very much to help his physical capabilities...

Chip walked into the gym. He heard they were testing their physical abilities. he knew he would do bad on everything but the running, which he was pretty good at. He ran around fifteen laps, then pushed himself and was able to do two pull-ups, and then did ten push-ups. He walked over to the weights, and was able to lift it three times before dropping it due to exhaustion.

Alec glance at Allen before they began running. Having lived on the streets they were pretty fast for their age though they were only able to do three laps. The walked over to the bar and Alec helped Allen up before leaping up and grabbing the bar. They managed to do about five pull-ups. They dropped down and did eight push-ups then walked over to the weights then looked at each other, not sure if they could even lift them.

Josephine sighed and looked at her shoes. She knew that she wouldn't be able to do more than five laps without the use of her ability, but she gave it a shot anyways. Instead of tiring herself out and pushing for six, she stopped and caught her breath. When it came to the pull ups, she did five of those, and lifted the weights three times. When she put them back down, she sat on the floor to rest.

Just as he thought, Kyo nearly dropped to the floor after three laps. Had he actually gotten worse? How embarrassing...
After picking himself up, he walked over to the bar and struggled for a while before finally getting through one pull up. He almost made it through a second one, but his arms gave out and he let go of the bar. Push-ups were a lot easier, so he made it through eight of those. When he finished there, he picked up some of the smaller weights and lifted them away from the others, not wanting them to see how much he could lift.

"Come on Florica I need your in data too." the housekeeper scolded. "Allen and Alec Atleast try the weights."

Katherin frown ad the housekeeper's words. How was she suppose to do this. She felt her way around the way around the room the first lap. Once she had a feeling for the room she ran three more labs. The pull-up weren't hard once she found the bar. She was able to do 6 before her arms gave out. Then sit-up she was able to do 10. It took several minutes for Katherin to find the weights. Once she found them she lifted the 5,10 but struggled with the twenty pound weights.

She sighed before starting to run laps around the room. She was average at running, and she wanted to save her energy for the other events, so she started running. She did about 8 laps before she went over to the pull-ups. It was much harder than the running for her, so she did about 6 of those pull-ups before slightly running out of breath. Then she found a slightly open space and dropped to the ground, doing her push ups. She ended up doing about 10 push ups. Then, she got to the weights. She lifted the 5, 10, 20, 25, 30, but then got stuck on the 35. When she was actually done, she started sitting on the ground in the space where she did her push ups before, and having very heavy breath from all of it.

"Alright boys and girls." The housekeeper clapped her hands to get their attention. "We will go to life skills now. That is held on the third floor. Someone make sure that Katherin finds her way. The rest of you follow me."

Chip stood up and followed behind the Housekeeper. He did so still spinning his penny in the air.

Kyo placed the weights back where they belonged, but he took a moment to catch his breath rather than leaving the room immediately. Whatever his future held, he decided that he really hoped it wouldn't involve heavy lifting. Perhaps he would do better in the next activity, though.
