[IC] The Experiment

"Alright children." Vlad said as he entered the room. "Lets move to the dinning room for lunch."

Sven began to drool a bit at the word lunch, he was always starving. A slight voice in his head told him that they wouldn't get as much food as the others for not doing well on his test but he preferred to not think of this.

Alexis got up still taking care of her fire, it was like a baby, always having to be feed always needing you notice or it would die. Blowing it out since they where having lunch she took the paper coals it made and wrapped them in the gloves. Looking around she stuffed the coals in her pocket with the lighter, a hazard that no one in the right mind would want to take sine that same pocket had her lighter.

Slade had finished his assignments long before Vlad had called for lunch, he sat staring blankly at the screen until then. He rose from the seat and started to slowly follow the others, still mumbling to himself. "No you will not. We aren't here for courtship."

Tanner began to type heavily on the computer, knowing every problem that came onto the computer screen, in seconds. This was one thing he was good at, one thing he enjoyed a lot. He was entranced with the problems, he loved problem solving and quickly blew through the problems. Tanner wanted more of them, when Vlad said that they are going to have lunch Tanner sighed. He had already eaten not too long ago. Although still he stood and walked out of the room to the dining hall with the rest of the group.

Roxy followed. She stayed towards the back of the group. She had no desire to mingle. But she knew eventually she would have to. She knew that Vlad would push them together to watch them react. She hated being her but she figured it was better then jail. Most day any way. Other days she thought she should have taken the jail sentence.

Slade ended up walking side by side with the girl the scientist was seemingly overly found of. His mumbling grew slightly louder as he walked. "I will not ask her that. Because I don't want that done to me"

Roxy glared at Slade she had an idea what he was mumbling about even if she didn't know who he was talking to. She was sure Vlad had drove the boy crazy. It was amazing that they weren't all crazy. "Go away. I don't like people in my space."

Slade continued to look straight ahead as he was spoken to by the girl. "This is everyone's space." He said in a monotone voice as he walked

Roxy growled and moved over as far as the hall would allow. "The building might be everyone's space. But the space around me is mine alone. Get into it again and you will regret it."

Slade continued to look forw3ard and walked but for a moment it looked like as if a smirk had came to his face.

Alexis overheard the conversation going on between to of the others and clicked her tongue and lit her lighter. " some people should just be burnt when they see fire. " She half mumbled half said she was still smiling. Taking out her paper note book she tore out a page and rolled it into a role and lit one end on the lighter. The other end she was holding.

Roxy took a seat at a table at the far end of the room. She wanted as much space between her and the rest of them. None of them cared about anyone but themselves. It was going to be impossible to build a team out of this group of outcasts. None of them were leaders. But none of them were followers either.

Sven had a feeling roxy didn't want visitors but took his chances as he sat close to her and cheerfully started to eat. his never took his gloves off and it made using silverware harder for him, still he had gotten the hang of it. As he swallowed about a fifth of his food he looked to the girl and smiled. "dsorry to hear you don't like us, but atleast have the cour... coute.... the kindness to deal with us" He said in a hard yet polite manner. He continued to eat his meal, slowly getting slobbery with each bite.

Roxy rolled her eyes. Just her luck so would the slob of the group joined her. She poked at her food. She should be hungry since she hadn't eaten breakfast, but she wasn't really. She looked twilled the butter knife in her hand like it was a baton. She smiled when she realized that she had a solid weapon. Two of them really. Vlad wasn't as careful about what he gave her as he use to be. "I don't have any kindness."

Sven smiled at her ending qoute, he always thought people who faked being harden was humourus. "you it's possible to smell lies, maybe it's the peas but I sure smell it now" he said clearly mocking her as he finished his meal and beginning to stare at roxy's plate. "if you have no kindness pretend like you have some, no for me but for you" he said laughing quietly. He knew she wasn't going to like his comments but that was somewhat his plan. " so I see you enjoy knives, I have a few encounters with knives, I enjoy a good old fist fight, don't you agree" he said wiping drool away from his mouth.

"I don't do fist fights." Roxy told him. She continued to ignore him and play with her knife. It wasn't sharp and wouldn't inflict much damage but it would have to do for now. She tucked her fork into her boot for later. But she kept the knife handy just in case.

sven smiled as she attempted to hide a fork in her boot and carry a knife. He personally didn't care, when he said he had a few encounters he really meant that practically every fight he had a knife pulled on him. He personally didn't mind the doctor, but they be because he was being fed.

Alexis sat at the other end of proxy and the other dudes table she didn't know them she had no concern for them she just didn't want to sit alone like she would all day before she came here. Picking up the knife she smiled then put it back down. Taking out her lighter once again but decided to do it with using up her only lighter. Instead she took a piece of paper in her plain hand and it set on fire. " perfect I told them those stupid drugs only made it worse but no they couldn't believe me. " She smiled and dropped the flaming peicebof paper onto her plate and started to burn what ever was on it.

Slade took a seat alone and began eating his food, taking small bites. He kept his usual blank face as he ate, up until he smelt something burning. His eye twitched for a moment before he called out in a loud voice that had a British accent. "What the bloody hell is burning?!"
