Decided to make a few more characters for security, so the next time we have such events, I have characters I can fall back on if Kezal isn't in the right area.
Name: Marcel Tabatier
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 27
Personality: Friendly and open by nature, Marcel is a hard person to dislike. Well, at first glance, in any case. He often uses this to his advantage when conversing - he never uses the word interrogate - suspects. He offers them drinks, food and other creature comforts and before they know it, they're spilling everything they know. His skills in observation and the human body language also means that he's quick to know when people are lying or withholding information, and that's usually when he would let his partner continue with the conversation.
He is also quite eccentric, often arranging the various items on his desk in odd structures and shapes, or rearranging the entire office from time to time while his partner is away. It makes him a hard person to work with, but some would say that his investigative skills more than make up for it.
Job: Detective
Past Job(s): Police Officer back on Earth
Advantage:
- Affable personality makes it easy for him to get information out of suspects and witnesses
- Very observant
- Knows how to read human body language
Disability:
- Various eccentricities
- Easily distracted
Bio: There is not much to say about Marcel. He worked with the French Police on Earth for a few years before hearing about a new space station under construction. Seeing the recruitment advertisements for detectives and security personnel, Marcel left his job and signed up. His story is about as boring and mundane as they get, and he rarely likes talking about it, especially with people whom he thinks have much more colourful and exciting back stories.
Reason for joining the station: Wanted a change of environment
Other: Armed with a collapsible shock baton, a regular wooden baton and a non-lethal electroshock pistol for ranged encounters.
Name: Arikaz Hizaka'Tivakaz
Gender: Female
Race: Sera'Shuun
Age: 26 Human years
Personality: The best way to describe Arikaz' personality would be acidic. Biting, sarcastic and sometimes downright mean, she is always quick to criticize but slow to praise. There is very little she would not suspect anyone to be capable of doing, and that sometimes makes her one of the best security officers due to her apparently ability to remain absolutely unfazed no matter the situation. Like Marcel, she is a hard person to work with, but she does - as Marcel puts it - defrost after some time. Though the difference would be between her insulting you in a caustic way and her insulting you in a teasing manner.
Job: Security Officer
Past Job(s): Sera'Shuun Intelligence Corps (Undercover and Direct Action Division), private security consultant
Advantage:
- Strong memory
- Great at improvising
- Advanced interrogation methods (ie Torture technician)
- Contacts with various criminal elements
Disability:
- Almost all her methods are less-than-legal
- Has reputation as being unnecessarily brutal
- Not many people willing to talk to her for fear of becoming one of her interrogation subjects.
Bio: Like all Sera'Shuun, Arikaz was conscripted into the Sera'Shuun military when she became of legal age. Her good memory and ability to come up with plans on the spot got her a job with the Intelligence Corps, where she was placed into the Undercover and Direct Action Division, responsible for all of the shadier, black operations the Sera'Shuun needed doing. Much of her work is still classified, but what is known is that she earned a reputation for having an unheard of 90% success rate for her missions. Of course, there were also rumours of those being questioned by her rarely leaving the interrogation room alive, but those are just rumours.
Regardless of whatever she did, she left the Sera'Shuun military once her time was up and went on to the private sector, working as a consultant for a Human corporation for a few months before getting bored of the job. When she heard that a new space station was recruiting security personnel, she wasted no time in signing up.
Reason for joining the station: Needed a new job
Other: Armed with an collapsible shock baton.
Does not get along with Kezal due to old interservice rivalries between the Enforcer Corps and the IDA Division. Also because of more personal matters relating to a mission involving both agencies during their period of service.
