I prefer games in which you improve your attributes with practice, like the Elder Scrolls games (well, Morrowind and Oblivion anyway). Then attributes are literally a reflection of your abilities in different areas, unlike fallout where it's more a measure of genetic predisposition.

Isn't the enclave basically fascists? Anyway, I was thinking more of that they conquered them, then let them run themselves in exchange for "taxes." Of course, they would have to be pretty weak to get conquered, but they are pretty much a cult without fighters except a few security people loyal to the leader. They expand through bringing in people and brainwashing them, not through military strength or by simply defending their own and naturally growing. (think fundamentalist Mormon compounds)

US Government were pretty much fascists as well. And besides, Fascists hate Communists.

Also, the Enclave wouldn't really let them run themselves. They'd exterminate them because they're exposed to so much radiation and "impure."

Also, I believe other than the Imagination and Jonathan (who has already discussed his appearance with me) we have all the party members. Phew. Well we'll be moving soon.

And thanks a lot guys for your patience while I was gone. I know it's tough having a GM go absent for a couple days, it puts a stagger on things. I'm hoping once we're running, some of you guys will be able to take charge once we're actually moving from city to city in the event of my absence. Next month I'll be heading to San Francisco for a few days, and likely will get minimal time to post, so having a couple of you to push the story along while I'm gone would be helpful.

Well, Hayley doesn't know who Dallas is, and neither does Tenpenny or House. All they know is that Dallas somehow got his hands on the Pipboy of a person who was SUPPOSED to be on the trip. So, naturally, before Tenpenny or House would want Dallas accompanying them on an expedition of this sort, they'd want to make sure he's fit for the task.

In terms of the story, it'll probably just be a conversation between Hayley and Dallas (I may even do it "off screen' so to speak) where she gets his story, figured out what he can do, and decides that he's good to go. It's not really gonna take much effort on your part, we just need to do it for the sake of logical consistency in the story.

Sabin we don't need to do, as House clearly was aware that the NCR was sending an envoy. They were expecting someone--not Sabin specifically, but someone.
