[Damian]

"Just conversation, right. As to the answer to your question, murderers, greedy people like the former head of the Magic Council, power hungry and depraved people, I could go on, but I think you get the picture. So what exactly did you want to know about the Demons?" Damian was growing more and more wary of the Time Lord the longer he spoke to him. He gave off this vibe that he just couldn't shake a dislike of.

[James]

Walking back into the guild hall, he returned to his seat and grumbled a bit as he returned to practicing different spells as he read. He didn't notice much else going on, so upset was he.

Ayame

Outside Phoenix Wing

Nero - Jamie - Ariel

Ayame slowly tried to shrink away more and more behind the lantern post but it didn't seem like she was thin enough to hide behind it and not be notice by the genie. She placed her hands on the sides of the lantern lightly and angled her face to peer at Nero past the lamp post, making her hair fall down the right side of her face. She hadn't got a good look at him yet but now he was facing her way she could inspect him a little more. She had been staring at him for quite some time now leaving her mouth agape while she was it but she starred mostly at his blonde hairs. If it was one thing she loved about others it would be blonde hair. She had come back to senses again when Nero started glancing at her, it was fairly clear now that Nero had seen her already but she still tried to hide herself again by pulling her head back behind the post. Once Nero started talking to the other person coming towards the two of them she started hanging her head out again. They seemed to be talking about the penguin but it was a little weird to understand without any backlog of what happened.

Once the penguin conversation passed Nero finally decided to talk to Ayame. It was decided that the hiding spot didn't work any more but she still used it as protection for the two strangers. The whole right side of her body started to appear along sides the lamp post. her right hand released the lamp post and dropped along side her body. She angled her head in question not really getting what she had done to him. She slowly began hiding behind the lamp post again when he started talking about paying her back. Her face didn't show any fear though, it was more like a somewhat angry glance. She readied her arm to attack him at any time if he would try to hurt her. But her expression slowly turned a little more interested when he invited her to help him with something. It was clear to her that he was talking about the job he wanted to give the people of the guild and of course the wish in return. She gave the man a nod of accepting the job but still hesitated a little before wanting to jog towards him but suddenly the person from just now stepped in front of her.

She stared a minute at the person for what he just had done. She left the spot she had been standing for the past couple of minutes and heard the person talking to her about food and clothes. The person seemed nice enough to speak the truth but she pouted and gave an angry glance when he looked back at Nero. Both her fists were balled up along the sides of her body. She took a deep breath and spread her legs slightly while leaning slightly forward while she started yelling at the person in front of her with her high pitched child voice "You can't just take a wish away from someone right in front of their face" She kept standing in the same pose for a few moments while she was still pouting at the person in front of her. Because of her sudden outburst she hadn't even noticed Ariel walking past her.

Lazarus

Lazarus was taken by surprise when the giants spawn appeared from nowhere, and swiped at him. "Crap!" Suddenly a sheet of ice appeared in front of him as Sasha attacked the for. "Thanks!" He grinned, before gathering his breath. "...bellow of the light god!" He shouted out his god slayer magic to try and obliterate the wooden being. He turned his head to Sasha. "You didn't see him just now. Trust me, he's stronger right now than ever before. I must say if we were to repeat our S class battle it would be much closer." He folded his arms. "I have faith in Mayt to accomplish whatever he is trying to do." His fists flared up with light. "Now! Let's do some damage!" He smashed his fist int the leg once more, breaking of a piece x5 as big as before.

Master Jamie

Master Jamie looked over her shoulder at the young girl, giving her a kind expression. "I can child, for a wish is not something to use lightly, and especially not from someone like him. You may tell me what you wish, and I can try and get it for you. For now, all I can give you is hot food, and somewhere to stay" He looked back to Nero, and nodded, ready to begin.

Sasha

Sasha nodded, looking up at the titan, "I know what Mayt can do, Lazarus. But it's always nice to have a little help"" She said softly, watching as he attacked the Titan. "There are people in there! ANd We can't just destroy it like this! It might harm innocents!" She said, loudly

????? Time Lord ?????

"And just what would you classify as murder, Damian? Have not you yourself killed?" The man chuckled, and leaned close "If I go by your standards, then I am guilty of all of that, and yet, and yet, I am not a bad person. Does magic make someone bad, or does the person make magic bad? Have fun trying to figure that out, but my answer will be: People make People bad" They turned, to leave "You should clean out your ears. I'mm not interested in the Demons. I know where they come from. I'm interested in you, ad this guild."

"Curses!" Nero complained, fittingly enough. This guild master character would just not get off his case. Now seeing Ayame's assistance as a foregone conclusion, but not overly upset about it, he was prepared to sidle off into the distance while the poor little girl was given shelter and food at Phoenix Wing. He did not at all expect for Jamie, in a fit of heroism, to volunteer his or her own self to Nero's test. All of a sudden, the world seemed to the dark mage to be a much brighter place.

"Woohoo! Oh, excellent, jolly good! You will not regret this, my ambiguous friend. Alright, time to tell you how this works. In its current state, the Law of Manifestation cannot be cast on someone unwilling or even unaware. It requires the full cooperation of a helper, but since you've given me it, I think we're good to go! Shall we sit?" He gestured to a bench on the sidewalk. "You will be getting your wish, by the way, if it's in my power. Cross my heart and hope to die!" His gaze drifted back to little Ayame. “Don't worry, dearie! Once Jamie sees how harmless my awesome spell is, you'll be allowed to try it for sure! Then you'll get a wish too! Genies never give only one wish, right?”

"My wish is for Fiore to be stable, for magic to be appreciated and for everything to be alright. Which is beyond magic," jamie replied, with a shake of his head.

"I'd prefer to remain standing," she replied to then, "What does your little spell do?" Jamie rolled her weight to the balls of her feet, arms behind her back.

At this moment Ariel arrived, only adding to the fun. Nero, now on a roll, was pleased to answer both questions at once. "I'm already on that, see? Granting wishes and making people happy can show how great magic is! Okay, the Law of Manifestation. It's all in the name. A nice fellow I once knew who used Archive magic gave me a magical book called a 'Thesaurus', which is why I know that 'manifest' means basically the same thing as 'make appear'. What my spell does is to take a fragment of the person it's used on, an 'aspect' let's say, and converts it into real thing you can touch and throw around! If I ever get it working, it's gonna be huge: tired of overeating? Let me take away your Indulgence! Do your friends all stink to high heaven? Say goodbye to your Sense of Smell! Wise guy always cracking jokes? I can remove his Sense of Humor. And of course, any Aspect can be restored by eating it. That's the theory."

Nero cracked his knuckles, pleased as punch that he'd been able to come up with a few good examples on the fly. He adjusted his broken spectacles and ran a hand through his hair, as if trying to remember something, before continuing. "Alright, what I'd like you to do, good master, is to picture something about yourself. Let's start small, something that won't affect you too much. Hmm...aha! How about your Sense of Balance? Or maybe you have another idea?"

Master Jamie doubted the magic would be truly effective against him, but he just nodded looking to Ariel as she joined them. "I rather much like my sense of balance," she said,"I don't fancy taking a step and falling flat on my backside, thank you very much," he said, moving slightly.

"Something that won't effect my ability to walk, talk, and hear thank you," Jamie said in an almost dull tone. They watched the genie type mage, wary.

Having not expected that his first suggestion would be overruled, Nero resorted to a head-scratch to churn up another idea. "How about...oh, this oughta be pretty cool. How does your Shadow sound?" For all that Nero knew, the Law of Manifestation was unknown territory. Any number of things could work, and a Shadow struck him as just as good as anything. Its temporary loss shouldn't affect Jamie in any way, but out of respect for the somewhat fickle nature of his Curse Laws, he didn't think he would separate the two for long.

Master Jamie thought about that a moment, and then nodded. The loss of his shadow wouldn't be anything too serious, he knew. And oddly enough, no one had ever noticed that while her body changed with his shifting, her shadow didn't. It amused Jamie greatly, this small fact. She nodded and said "Fine, but I better get it back. It's...quite special.” he said with a chuckle, rocking back on one foot.

"No problem! Like I said earlier, it won't work if you're displeased. Now, I want you to think about your Shadow. A lot in your life you've been alone, but not really, because there's always someone there...someone just like you. Though only one shade, it can be cast at many different angles. Picture yourself walking along a high wall in the evening, with your Shadow moving along with you. It is every part of you, but none. Can you see it?" Nero scrunched his eyes tightly, and when his lips began to move his voice had changed. It hummed with power, the strength and imagination to convert ideas into reality. "I call upon the Law of Manifestation," he recited formally, "Friendly stranger, at feet attached, without danger, come unlatched."

He reached out with his hand and laid a clammy palm to Jamie's forehead tentatively. What came next depended entirely on the guild master. Nero was literally digging into her psyche, which felt a lot like reaching down into the water and trying to scoop out some sand. Any sort of current and the silt would slip away; only complacency would allow Jamie's Shadow to manifest.

Master Jamie let Nero do what he was doing feeling slightly unnerved about it as Nero touched him. Jamie wasn't too sure if she was meant to feel anything, or if it would just happen.

Perhaps he should have asked that although it didn't seem like Nero knew what he was doing. Jamie sighed softly, and began to image her true form, and the accompany shadow.

It was fairly easy even though Jamie hadn't used his true form in years. So much safer using others forms, really.

”Okay.”
All at once, Nero let out his breath in a tremendous sigh. He pulled back his hand, and at first, it seemed like nothing had happened. Then everyone present became aware of something in his hand, a flickering sort of shape, such as one might see out of the corner of their eyes. The more closely each looked, the more solid the shape appeared, until it could be easily identified as a pitch-black, wispy figurine about a foot tall. “By the Horned One!” Nero breathed, his face alight with joy, “I've done it! Oh, wow, your shadow is pretty big! I wonder if that means you've left a lot of yourself in the world?” He peered more closely at the figurine, not knowing that he was looking at an exact replica of Jamie's true form in miniature. “Huh, this is interesting! Here, have it back.” Nero handed it over, still enraptured with the object he had created. When he looked down at the ground, he found that indeed, Phoenix Wing's guild master cast no shadow. “Just stick a bit of it in your mouth and gobble down. It'll rejoin you, probably. Man, am I glad that didn't send you into a coma or rupture your brain stem or anything. This proves that it's safe!” The young dark mage nearly danced around, so excited was he by the first successful test of his original magic.

Jamie gave a soft chuckle, amused. Nero wouldn't know that the figure was Jamie herself. of course, it was still hard to tell if Jamie's true form was male or female and wouldn't be able to be seen, except when Jamie used the form himself.

Jamie smiled, taking her shadow back. She did as Nero instructed, to gain his shadow back only after studied it for a moment. It really was a shame that he didn't use that form more.

Maybe, one day.

"Do you think I would let you kill me with a stroke? Master Jamie, of Phoenix Wing, killed by a stroke? No." Jamie said with amusement, looking to see if the young girl was still there. "If I approve of her wish, you can give mine to her. But if you make it backfire, in any way, I won't hesitate to...make you pay."

“Dearie me! I thought our unique relationship had transcended death threats! Lucky I'm such a forgiving guy!” Nero feigned indignation, but the exuberance on his countenance prevented it. “I must say however, this whole 'giving wishes' business is awfully tacky. I'd much rather the little lady help me with her own trial. Being generous and kind, however, I'll leave that up to her.” He addressed Ayame now, trying to ignore the stinging on his cheek and the ache in his head, present since he had performed the Curse Law. It was a worrisome moment before he found her; she was excellent at making herself inconspicuous. “Removing bad characteristics is a fantastic wish in and of itself, you know. My spell is its own reward! What'll it be, chum? Grab the low-hanging fruit Jamie wants to force-feed you or earn your own wish?” Deep down, Nero knew that many poor folks -himself included- resented charity. They wanted to make their own way, to prove that they could—that they were worthy of respect, not pity. He wanted to know if that instinct developed in a creature as young as Ayame.

Gentsai

Location: Titan's head

At the upper part of the titan, Gentsai eventually found his way into the anima's hub with Taris already inside. "I see you're working hard Taris." Saying in a sarcastic tone as he saw the anima nearing its charging phase.

"It would of been finished if you told me to start it earlier or later. But we're starting it now, so at least be happy about that. you okay?" Taris saw a look on Gentsai, something giving causing him some distress. "The Earth Landers, I can sense them, back on the foot, trying to attack the titan. I tried offering them a ride, but they decide to crush it instead. I only hope they'll be okay. The titan, it's like us, I'm sure you can already imagine where I'm going with this."

"When a virus tries attacking the body, the body's immune system would try sending what it has to fight it off. I know, you already explained it to me."

"Yes, but in this case. The Titan is more relentless and tries to find ways to fend off or destroy those threats. I hope those Earth Landers aren't causing too much trouble down there. Another thing, I sense a fight that's damaging the left interior leg."

"Bryht already contacted me about it and left to investigate. Don't worry, we'll be in Earth Land soon."

"I hope so too. It's just that, I wish... Jane was here." He said softly to himself as he gazed at the anima, the glowing ball of light. Only half of it appeared since the other half was dug into the ground.

Below, at the foot of the titan. In response to Lazarus's attack, a pack of twenty wolves grew from the ground and rushed towards the guy trying to damage the titan. Each tried surrounding and pouncing on him and in hopes to cease his fire. Before, the golem simply tried to brush Lazarus off the titan. But now the wolves were instead trying with fangs and claws to remove and shred Lazarus apart from where he stood. Probably successful already in ruining his white jacket.

Edo Shutler eventually arrived at the foot of the titan, but ignored the Earth Landers attempt to destroy the titan. Instead, he continued walking inside and up the interior leg as he could feel a fight happening near the waist of the titan.

Nero - Jamie - Ariel

Nero seemed completely fine with Jamie having to test out his new invention. She heard the same thing coming from Jamie again after her outburst but didn't calm down from it "I don't need your help I can take care of my own." She began yelling at Jamie again, it was told her a million times at foster homes but she couldn't get along with anybody and just decided to leave on her own after a while. Before she could yell again she heard Nero say that she could still have her wish and accepted it to let Jamie go first instead of her. She went silent and calmed down a huge deal. It wouldn't hurt to have a test dummy in her place for now. Only a silent voice sounded before she moved behind the lamp post again feeling a little more safe "Okay." But the same non trusting somewhat angry look on her face didn't fade away in an eye blink. She was watching both of them closely and tried to follow the progress of the trick. It was like watching a fake magician do some lame ass trick for a kids birthday party but she kept wondering what would happen. It wasnt even sayed what the trick was about yet or she had completly ignored and only went for the wish. They were both talking about removing some emotion or trait about theirself but it couldn't be true must have some trick behind it. After Jamie had their shadow removed she looked at the little figurine on the hand of Nero.

It didn't look like it was anything special and even she herself could pull of something like that making a toy appear in your hand was easy. Her eyes slowly wandered towards the place where jamies shadow was suppose to be but it wasn't there. Her mouth opened up again in amazement of what the stranger just did for magic trick. He must have been a mage that was the only thing she could really think of. Meanwhile Jamie had already eaten the little figure and Nero started talking to her again. She was still staring at them with her mouth open in deep thought before she panicked a little and felt flustered short after. She started walking towards the two of them while quietly talking "I don't need anyone's help, It doesn't even look so hard." She showed herself to the much taller man, standing right in front of his nose with Jamie behind her. She blushed a little out of shyness and averted her sight from both of their faces "Go ahead"

He raised an eyebrow. "Look at the size of this thing Sasha. We won't do any critical damage." The wolves spawned. He laughed. "But whilst we're taking their attention. The easier it makes for Mayt inside... I think it's time we show these fools some real magic from Phoenix wing's best team! don't you?" He chuckled again, before sprouting his wings and ascending upwards, just in time to receive a scratch on the rim of his jacket. He tutted. "I like this jacket. It has meaning to me." He gathered his breath, hovering just about the snatching jaws of the wolves. "Tremble before a god! Below of the light god!" He shouted and tried to take out as many as possible to give his teammate easier targets.

[Damian]

Ignoring his snide remark about Damian's past, Damian shook his head. "Then I change my question to this, what about us do you want to know? Our histories? Our magics? I can't give you those two things, but anything else, I'm sure I could answer."

master Jamie

"I said no. You will not test it out on a girl who has been living on the streets. No" Jamie said her tone furious, as she turned to the girl. "you might think you are being brave, Child. It wasn't a risk for me, because I am older and have had more years with magic then you. But sometimes the bravest thing you can do is accept help. I'm offering you a home and a place to belong even if you do not have magic. If you wish to throw that chance away,
Then you can. But offering you a place to stay, with food and warmth, Doesn't mean I don't think you can't look after yourself"
Jamie said kindly, "Nero doesn't know qhat he is doing. Please, come with me"

???time lord????

The man just chuckled, "you think I need t ask questions to find out what I want? I can find out what I want just by observing. For instance, you are quite protective of this guild and it's members. I find that admirable, but don't worry little blade, I mean no harm at the moment"

Sasha

Sasha nodded, but still, she worried. She shifted, and cried out "ice make: bird Bombers!" her birds formed and began pelting any remaining wolves, and she looked up at Lazarus and smiled "I think we need to find the control centre"

Penny

Penny soared in the air, around the titan, searxhinf for a way in, a way to stop this. Maybe through an eye? Did this thing have an eye? She didn't know. She started to circle, searching for any sign of an eye or eye like orbital.

Zenoram/Zero

Zero scoffed slightly at the explanation. "Even a stubborn guy like me could understand something like that. Mithera could have told me. And if not me Zenoram." Zero pointed out as he stood up. He was getting tired of waiting. He wanted to leave. It'd be good to make sure Hemlock was alright. He was getting this bad feeling.

"If Mithera trusts her, than we can trust her Zero."
"I get it. I just thought it was important.
"Yeah I know. But still!"
"This is why you handle the socializing."

Then Karn explained a bit about the God Slayer dude and Damian. The information seemed good. And he had seen Damian in action not too long ago. SO it was all sound. Which was why he didn't dispute it. But he was sure neither of them could compare to Hemlock when he got right down to it. "Good Info Karn. Now if only you could be so understandable all the time." He said referring to Karn's overexcited speed talking when they first arrived which prompted him and Zenoram not actually knowing about the job until today.

"Not about how long do you three think it'll be until we actually get the hell out of here?" He then asked calmly looking around at the three.

The youthful singer felt her stomach turn. This man had just confessed to being a murderer, and she felt she knew at least one count was committed in pursuit of the knowledge necessary to arrive here, evidenced by the blood-stained photograph she found before, and carries with her. But if he has Time Magic, as his name suggests, he could manipulate the time of the object to before it was bloodstained. She can't let him know she has it.

Of course, he could not care. He would have done something about it sooner if he was worried about being found out... Right? Either way, she should be cautious. "Well, if you want to observe us, Time Lord, then let me ask you something in return. Could you revert these to a time before they were soiled?" She wasn't planning on asking him at first, but she should mix it up if what he wants is to observe them.

Ariel

The majority of what Nero said went over her head. She was not particularly well versed in magic and the concept of removing a part of one's self hurt her head for a bit. Maybe it was just the personality's lack of patience that made it tougher. Either way she watched as Nero removed Jamie's shadow. It looked different that she expected, but then again what should she expect from such a thing? Sighing impatiently she watched as the shadow thing was eaten and everything was back to normal.

"Oookay. What does that accomplish exactly?" Despite Nero's examples she was having trouble wrapping her head around the concept. Maybe she could get rid of her other personality. So far she's been rather useless and lacked any real backbone, at least in her opinion.

But at the moment they seemed occupied with the little girl. Jamie offering to take care of the girl and Nero offering the wish thing. Ariel saw no reason she couldn't have both. The guild master didn't strike her as one to turn anyone away unless they were trying to hurt someone.

Shutler and Mayt

Location: Titan's left interior leg

(I tried looking for some fight music, but maybe next time. If you have one in mind, it might sound good with the post).

Mayt watched Shutler for a few moments, before realizing they were both waiting on the other to attack first. He pivoted his foot before doing his best to charge Shutler, doing a weak slice at his Torso, knowing his opponent would likely dodge such an obvious oncoming attack, he hand't even bothered speeding up the sword. "Alright then, let's start with Introductions. I am Mayt Derren Marris, a Wizard of Phoenix Wing. Who are you?" He rotated his body so he could keep his eye on Shutler while he stopped himself, doing his best to not trip over the stairs. Fighting on stairs is long going to be a problem, but I'll have to cope. Hopefully he will too.

Shutler simply stood there as Mayt's slice went through him, as if he wasn't there. With Mayt's introduction done and already close enough, Shutler was able to quickly grab Mayt's face with his shadowy claw that covered his face. "I'm Shutler, Shutler Wake!" He shouted as his arm stretched out and dragged Mayt up against the rough incline. His dark claw remained locked on Mayt's face as his arm broke away from it and retracted back to Shutler with a new hand instantly growing back. "And I am your death if you think you can stop me." The shadow and darkness in the room all began flowing towards Shutler as he absorbed it. Facing Mayt, he clapped his hands together "Dark abyssal wave!" With the single clap, a giant wave of tangible darkness was rushing to towards Mayt.

Mayt's eyes widened as he felt Shutler's shadowy claw on his face, and grunted as he was dragged against the wall. Crumbling when he hit the steps, he was only just starting to get up when the Darkness came at him. Barely, he managed to bring his hand up and shout, "Amplify: Light!" A magic circle appeared in front of his hand for a moment before an explosion of light came forth, blocking Shutler's attack and likely making it hard to see. Once Mayt stopped the spell, and the wave was gone, he stood up quickly. "Alright then, now we both have some idea of the other's abilities. Change reinforcement: Amplify Light." A magic circle appeared at the base of his sword and moved all the way up, and afterwards it had a dull glow. Wobbling on his feet for a second, Mayt positioned himself carefully, watching for another attack before charging Shutler again. This time as he struck, his sword glowed brightly.

Slightly impressed by Mayt's light show, Shutler quickly began brain storming as he spoke. "I suppose we do. But what are you waiting for don't you want to attack? I can see it in your eyes, something that we both share." Shutler said as he stood there as Mayt rushed towards him with his glowing sword. As Mayt was about to strike, Shutler sank into the ground and snuck behind, clinging onto Mayt's shadow. From there, shutler upper body popped out from behind, grabbed and dragged Mayt down against the stairs, similar to before. Although he would like to do more, he prefred to safetly keep anyone, even himself from accidently damaging the anima. Where ever it was.

As Mayt felt himself being dragged down, he growled slightly, and let out a soft oof as he hit the stairs. After being dragged a little, he managed to amplify light again, at least getting Shutler's grip off him. Doing his best to stand up, he let himself release his grip on his sword, the magic he had put into it fading quickly. "Shape Magic: Reinforce Body. Amplify light." A moment after he began the incantation, he pumped as much magic as he could into it, and his entire body would shine brilliantly for a moment as he tried to dispel Shutler from his body. "Hiding in my shadow won't do you any good." He stood up the rest of the way, looking around for Shutler as well as feeling if he was still in Mayt's own shadow still, ignoring the aches already starting to form from the hits.

Before the Reinforce Body magic was casted, Shutler was able to find his way to sneak into Mayt's mind. As Shutler traveled through the his mind, he tried searching for the darkest memories that he could try bring out and use against the wizard. But as the delved deeper, things became strange, as if there wasn't one mind inside this head.

Many, many memories would float around Mayt's head, most of them clearly not Mayt's own. The earliest ones were a tad off, as if they had been altered, or have lost their stability over generations of passing them down. The most eye-catching memories would be fights and times where the creator of the memory was using their magic. As Shutler went deeper, some became gruesome, but there seemed to be no end to them. There were lifetimes of memories in his head, more than a single person could sort through without growing old and bored of the task. Eventually, they would start to get to the point where they would begin to overwhelm Shutler with the sheer number of them, none of them Mayt's own now, and most of them violent and desctructive. From destroying entire towns to killing families.

After so many memories, sights, and voices, all different from the kid he was facing. Shutler quickly shot himself out of Mayt's mind and shadow too avoid becoming too overwhelmed and intangled by his numerous thoughts. He landed on all fours and slowly brought himself up, trying to bring himself back to reality before facing Mayt. "I must say, the things that I've seen in your mind are quite gruesome Mayt, or should I call you by that name? I was intent on bring out a dark memory of yours and manifest it outside your mind, but there's just too many to choose from.To be honest, parts of your life that I've seen seem quite bland, then those other memories were something. After seeing those, it made me wonder, are we any different? Your normal life like I said was bland, but those other lives, how can you do what your doing and feel like your own self. Does your sudden realization about your life leave you like how you were before or are you like those other dark memories that could compare to what I've done" Shutler rambled on, trying to make Mayt question himself and his existence. While Shutler was talking, he quietly had his shadow dig in various direction, from the ground, walls, and ceiling. With the plan to collapse the path onto Mayt, cutting him off from climbing up any further.

Mayt quickly turned once he heard Shutler land, and readied himself to attack again. "Keep calling me Mayt, it is my name after all. And I'm all those memories, good and bad. What makes me different from you is trivial right now. All I care about right now is defeating you and dragging your ass back to Earthland once I've wrecked this Golem and made sure that they won't be coming to Earthland at some other date." Mayt charged him, glowing brightly as his approached, only to have to come short to a rock almost landing on him. "Hell," He looked up, and the light coming from him dulled as he concentraited on avoiding the falling rocks while still approaching Shutler.

Shutler was able to collapse the portion of the area where Mayt was standing. But since he ran forward a bit early, the cave in missed. As Mayt approached Shutler, his shadow from before were still in the ceil and created another small cave in that would stop Mayt and soon cause him to go around. "I might of seen what you're capable of, but will you use that power when it risk the hundreds of innocent lives on this titan. All just to stop me." He said as his shadow under the ground picked up and launched the giant debris at Mayt. He continued steping back as his hidden shadows broke large pieces debries from the ground, walls, ceiling and hurled them towards Mayt as he tried approaching. With every piece that he broke off and threw, a small tremor could be felt in the room.

Mayt grit his teeth, doing his best to avoid the rocks, and occationally he slowed down to put his hand up and shout, "Reflect Motion!", sending the rocks away from him as he continued. "This is only one leg of this thing, by the time it tips over I figure most of them could get out alive down the other leg. So I'm barring nothing for you." He forced himself to run faster, only just now realizing he had left his weapon behind. He would have to remember to search for it before returning to Earthland. His thoughts were interrupted as he stubbed his toe on a step, causing him to yell out and fall over, grabbing his toe.. Of all times... He recovered quickly, having to roll out of the way of some of the debris Shutler was throwing before continuing, limping in his run, and trying to get close enough to Shutler he could try to land a punch while amplifying the light around his body.

Seeing Mayt limp in his run, Shutler decided to test the boy's physical strength to see who strength could overwhelm the other. As Mayt appoached with his amplifying light punch, Shutler followed by creating a hardened casing around his fist and landed his punch on Mayt's fist, locking their knuckles together. With the two blows hitting together, the force could be felt across the area.

Mayt would growl as his fist hist Shutlers. Shifting onto his good foot, he leaned into the standoff, putting as much as his weight and strength into as his could, and amplifying the light even more. He doubted that he could stand of to Shutler on the stand of pure physical prowess, but he might be able to throw him off balance, or blind him with the light, and get a good punch in.

Shutler could feel his weight being pushed back by the light and his fist slipping away from Mayt's fist. As their fists slowly slip away, Shutler's fist flew away while Mayt's punch was about the land on Shutler. A sudden bright light filled the other end of the hall and Mayt's punched was stopped by someone else's palm. When the bright lights faded, Shutler could be seen off in the distance lying down and trying to get up with a scorch mark on his leather chest armor. He was probably pushed back by the force and power of the amplified punch of light and bright light the filled the room just seconds ago. Who stood in front of Mayt and gripped his fist was Bryght, the man who was with Edo Shutler earlier in the Capitol. As the man stood there, the light that once filled the room faded away as it was being absorbed through his armor. "Sorry if I've intruded in something, but your fight was causing quite the ruckus and damage. Because of it, I must ask you to leave, now." The man said with an intimidating tone and stance.

Mayt smiled for a split second as he saw that Shutler had been thrown back, assuming it was from his attack, before looking at the man now holding his fist. He stopped amplifying light, and his face formed a smirk as he moved back, trying to wrench his fist out of the grip of the man quickly. "That's mostly the point. I refuse to let this thing travel to Earthland, so I'm just having a bit of fun while making it unfit to do so." He rolled his shoulders, moving back into a fighting stance, deciding his fists were going to have to be his weapon, since his sword was buried under rock for now. This was going to become painful fast. "So, if you wish to stop me, give me your best shot." He took a deep breath, and hesitated clearly before speaking next. "Dual Reinforcement: Second Amplify, Motion." At this point Shutler would likely sense a change in his magic. It would become much more entwined with Mayt's life-force, not necessarily drawing from it, but definately having an influence. It would be clear he expected to have to fight Bryght and Shutler at the same time. "I will bring this thing crumbling down by any means necessary."

"You worthless piece of... if I was in my prime, I would have already out you in your place." Shutler said after Mayt's short talk to Bryght, all while he tried getting back up and found his footing to stand.

Bryght turned and faced "Enough Shutler, I dropped the glaive a few steps back up in hopes I could talk this fight down. But clearly it won't go that way." He returned his view on Mayt who appeared to be speaking some words to himself, making Bryght decide that he should get ready as well. "I should warn you, that this armor wasn't made to just protect everything on the outside. But to contain what I seal inside." Bryght removed the armor on his right arm, revealing his once covered skin that showed a dark tone and a blue mark on his shoulder. Those soon changed as his arm lit up brightly and formed into a batter ram that fired at Mayt. As it flew at an incredible speed, Shutler came back limping from up the stairs and threw the glaive to Bryght who now dash beside the ram, almost at the same speed. So when Mayt was busy with the ram in front of him, Bryght would be ready to strike right beside Mayt with the glaive.

Mayt barely managed to redirect the fire so that it would simple move around him without harming him, though it did singe his clothing a bit, and left him vulnerable to the strike from the glaive. He grunted as it cut into his flesh, which would be surprisingly resistant to the attack, the blade not sinking nearly as deeply as it normally would. Mayt moved away from Bryght and his weapon, throwing a glance in the direction of his new injury. "Dirty trick, using a magic absorbing weapon." He muttered, contemplating his next move. After a moment he dashed forwards, dropping into a slide, trying to knock Bryght's feet out from under him. Getting up quickly, he tried to get in too close to Bryght to use the Glaive effectively, as well as trying to get it out of Bryght's grip without leaving him too open to cheap attacks.

"Don't you know what I am, or who we are?" As Mayt tried knocking Bryght over, Bryght's entire body turned into a blinding bright light and zig zagged around Mayt, avoiding Mayt's reach. "We're metas, people who have transcended over that of the physical and magical laws. For instant." Bryght multiplied into numerous copies of himself all appearing the same as other. "You may think these are illusions." He said while a clone of himself walk through Mayt from behind. "Which they are, but they can become as real as you and me." One clone whacked Mayt on the shoulder. "It this power can greatly rise or fall depending on their base ablilty. Like how mine is of light. You may recall how the room was lit brightly before and slowly faded. First, thank you because as a light meta, I can absorb that light and use it to boost my stregth and health. This ability that we meta can be quite versatile. So as I said before." Each clone disappeared until only the original was left standing. "Leave." With a heavy tone.

From below the steps came Edo Shutler who carried Mayt's fallen sword and stop a few steps behind Mayt and Bryght. "Oh Bryght, I didn't expect you to be part of the fight." His gaze soon trailed off from the two as he saw the other Shutler. "Interesting, so there's my counterpart that I guess 'was' in Earth Land. Quite the suprise." Edo Shutler said, sounding a little amazed.

"And you must be my Shutler that is still here in Edolas. Wish I could say the same" said the Shutler on the end, on the higher step gasping for some air. While Bryght saw the Shutlers talk, his right arm remained in its brightly lit state.

Back at the head of the titan. The anima finally completed charging and as it was being activated, a bright blue light shined through the two eyes, revealing the eyes to be in front of its head. Soon, within several minutes, the anima would be ready for use and send everyone on the titan to Earth Land.

Edolas
Mayt --- Titan
Mayt was tense while Bryght started showing off his abilities. He grit his teeth, before forcing himself to calm down, and looked over as the two Shutlers started talking. Mayt rolled his shoulder, and grabbed the one that had been slashed. It wasn't deep, fortunately, but it hurt like the dickens. He rolled his neck, and glanced over at the Shutler from this world. "Meta wouldn't be the right word. I think what you're looking for is Elemental. Meta is a writing term for when a work references itself or the conventions of the type of writing it is. Very different." He smiled, and took the time to examine Bryght's glowing arm, as well as the other. "Besides that, how would I know what you are? This is my first time here after all, and I will not leave until I've stopped this Anima from taking these people of Edolas to Earthland, or die trying. But I think I'll leave you to the Light God Slayer." Mayt chuckled, before starting to walk down the stairs towards Edolas Shutler, and he held out his hand. "I'd like my sword back please, it has sentimental value."

Earthland
Melina and Mithera
Mithera could only manage a soft huff, and she went over besides Melina, who gave her a little pet. "Don't worry about the meany dragon slayer little miss panther. He's just grumpy because he woke up on the wrong side of his head today." Melina chuckled, before slinking over to James, putting her arms around his shoulders. "And hello Mr. Jamsie, too bad I'll be leaving. It was fun hanging around you and your little wingmates." She chuckled, before kissing his cheek and standing up, patting his head. "And don't look so glum, it's un-fun."

Nero -=- Outside Phoenix Wing

While Ayame stood, considering, Nero was only too happy to explain more about the Law of Manifestation to Ariel. His left eye, the one beneath the lens still intact, blinked open for a second, swept across her charming features, and then closed once again. Now in his element, one where he was given attention, the dark mage's smile was full of warmth, and now he fixed it on Ariel. “My spell effectively takes something from you, something that normally can't be touched. When an aspect is converted into an object, it no longer influences the person's behavior. Did you see the shapeshifter's shadow vanish when I cast the Law? Well, it works with other things. If you were to let me remove, oh, your Fear of Spiders, say, then I'd have a little ball made of spiders or something and you would no longer be afraid! If...and I'm just spitballin' here...you were to find a super-sweet dude who wanted nothing more than to make you into the happiest girl in the world, but were too shy to own up to it, I could remove your Restraint, we'd get a little bronze collar or something and you'd be able to confess to the love of your life! Isn't it wonderful?”

Joy raced through Nero as Ayame then volunteered for a test. Not only did he have another guinea pig to hone his new spell on, but she had also proved his theory about preference for self-reliance! The words 'alright, now what would you like me to get rid of?' were on the tip of his tongue when Jamie cut in. No amount of water could have more suddenly extinguished Nero's fire. As he listened to Jamie, his hands slipped into his pockets, and his wide smile dimmed to a dry grin, not showing any teeth. The instant that the guild master's furious tirade was over marked the start of Nero's own.

“Maybe someone's having a bad memory day. I very much know 'qhat' I'm doing, and I just proved it. I'm no psychotherapist, but it sounds to me like you're arguing with yourself. What a silly thing to do! Demand, appeal to courage, appeal to laziness, and top it off with a tasty frosting of 'doesn't mean I don't think you can look after yourself'. You know, I don't have a home either, or a lot of money, or food all the time, but I didn't come begging for any of that and you didn't offer any of it. Little dearie here and I are peas in a pod—we want to figure our deal out for ourselves! That is how people become stronger!” Now Nero's smile was returning, though it hardly seemed like a fool's dopey grin this time. “People thinkin' they know what's best for other people is rotten. Your attitude's rough enough to wear down even the sunniest disposition, you know that? I wish I had a spell to help my own power of persuasion, but all I have is rockin' stripy shorts, so here's the deal: I'd love it if dearie wants to be my friend.” Nero took a few steps back. Between him and Jamie now stood Ariel and Ayame both. “You can't tell dearie or me what to do, boss, we're not in your guild. Hell, I bet I've still got Strychnine marks on me somewhere. Two people here can tell the coppers that what I'm doing is harmless, so you can't force me like 'oh, evil dark mage, cursing people, imma get 'im'.” His hands rose, palms to the sky, to signal that no evidence against him could be found in all the heavens. “Innocent 'til proven guilty. So, girls, anyone wanna take a chance and walk with me?”

"one success does not mean you know what you are doing, Nero. It does not mean you should be cocky. It does not mean your magic is the same for others, and misleading people by seeming to know what you are doing is the marks of a bad person.

I know what you have done, even today. You said you didn't think the woman would turn into a manitocore, threatening the people. And that's your problem, Nero, you do not think."
Jamie shook her head, weary of this. "I won't take her choice away, but a child needs a home. You are not a chold, despite your childish nature. A child does not need to be convinced to do something that could be potentially dangerous. What will you do if your spell backfires on her? I notice you didn't say that in all your rambling, in all your trying to make me
The bad guy."

Jamie narrowed his eyes, stepping towards Nero, and said in a mildly...knowledgeably tone "magnolia is my city.
The guards and the people know me And respect me. If I say you are a dark mage,
They will believe me. But I won't, because I am not that type of person. You aren't a dark mage. You are just a foolish boy man who thinks one success means they are competent in their abilities. Yes, I know you don't have a home. Yes, I could easily offer you a chance to be in my guild. But you need to think carefully little Genie, using your spell on the girl could be dangerous. Think about someone else instead of just yourself, for once. Because right now, you are treading a very thin line, of being considered a dark Mage. And then my guild will have to hunt you down. And you will be put in a cell, all alone. Is that what you want? Or do you want a place to be welcomed, to be treated like a friend, like a part of a family? Think carefully"
she looked to the girl and her voice softened

"tricking the girl to get what you want isn't the right thing to do, and it is quite low to even try it"

???Time Lord???

They chuckled looking to Trinity, "ah, little singer. That isn't possible anymore. The magical knowledge about that isn't around anymore. Not that I haven't tried. There's a reason it's called Lost Magic" he said"perhaps I could find that knowledge bere. Interesting. My magic speeds things up, but doesn't revert time"

Collab Edo Larazus and Edo-Sasha

Edo-Lazarus slowly raised his head up when the door was pushed slightly. He didn't know who it was. "Hey... Can you help me please? I was being foolish.... And it took me all the way from that bed to here. I need to get back to there." He muttered, still having no idea it was edo-Sasha.

"well at least you admit you were being foolish" Edo-Sasha replied, her voice stable, she nudged the door open further, "did you bloody crawl?" she only looked at Edo-Lazarous with quick, fleeting glances.

The voice he heard made him freeze solid again. He shook a little before he breathed out heavily and spoke. "Yeah. I did." True he had tried to walk, but he covered most of the distance by crawling.

Edo sasha soghed softly. She looked away as she said softly, "I shouldn't have run off like that. I just...was overwhelmed" that was the simplest explanation at least. She knelt, so she could take one of his arms around her shoulders, so that she she rose, she could lift him and offer some support.

"to bed"

He took her help, and somehow got to his feet. "Yeah. Bed." They started to walk towards the bed. The pain was just as bad as before, but it was ok because she was there. They were about halfway there moving slowly. "You know, I can accidently forget about that if you wanted." He looked sideways at her. He didn't need to explain what he meant, she knew.

Edo-Sasha gave a soft laugh, "it isn't that easy to forget thinhs, Lazarous." she said, as she eased him down, she stepped back, uncertainty ruling her, and she hated it.

She didn't know what to say or do, and it made her feel useless and just plain...normal. Not a feeling she enjoyed. No one, apart from her guild members had ever truly seen her.

"what do you see when you look at me?" she asked, the uncertainty in her voice audible

He sat on the edge of the bed as she asked her question. He wasn't quite sure what to say. "What do I see?" He paused. "I see a strong, beautiful woman, who I just crawled across a damn floor for, just to speak to a little longer." He continued. "I see someone who is more than meets the eye." He lay back on the bed. "So what do you see when you look at me?"

Well, that was a pretty could answer, and it made her smile. She swallowed and look aside when he asked the same question of her. She thought of the way he had looked at Liana, his desperate need to help her. The way he had jumped in front of her, foolishly. And how pitiful he looked, on the floor of the infirmary.

"loyalty" she said softly, simply. "that's what I see" she seemed to hesitate, glancing to him quickly, briefly.

"why like me?"

He ruffled the back of his head, "I'm not sure, it's just you. That's it. Just you. Nobody else." He couldn't think of a better answer than 'just her'. Was he retarded? Come on! However nothing else would leave his mouth, no matter how hard he tried.

just you

Such simple words and yet not so simple. She looked away again, seeming unable to now look at him, colour rising in her cheeks. How...lovely to simple be...someone's...one.

And why couldn't she just give that back?

Well she knew the answer to that. Because she was scared. She feared getting close to someone like that. And yet hadnt she done that, with Her guild members? She hesitated, swallowing and eventually, after what problem seemed a long time, looking back to Edo-Lazarous. "I....don't know what to say. What to do. I..." she stopped herself, after very nearly saying she was scared. But her voice quivered, and she looked down

She was embarassed. Crap. "Nonono I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that miss.... I mean Sasha!" He bowed his head. He composed himself. "Sometimes.... People like us... People that are more than meets the eye.... Need to be protected, and need to have someone to protect." He squeezed that out of his mouth, shaking a little. He looked up at her.

Edo sasha didn't know what was worse. The fact that he had missed the fear, or the fact that he seemed to think it was his words, that he thought she was upset by what he had sai.

"well. You definetely need to be protected" she said, with a slight tone of amusement. She sat down, because it seemed the best option, and she paused, ran a hand through her hair, "and maybe I have to be too. Doesn't mean I have to like it, nor....nor does it mean that I resent you. Far from it"

She had sat down. "Yeah. I don't like to have to be protected. But I know I need someone to do it." He smiled a little. He looked at her. He was sure he wanted it to be her, but the risk of embarrassment was too great at this point. "I know you don't resent me Sasha. I understand why you would dislike me though. I only hope I can be forgiven for my foolish actions towards you." He bowed his head. He really did like her. But it wouldn't ever be able to be, as far as he thought anyway. She would be exiled by her guild were she to fall for him.

Edo sasha sighed softly, "If I disliked you, I would have let you die" she replied, and I certainly wouldn't have cried she thought to herself or kissed him

She needed to change the subject, if only slightly. "what...what will you do now? Go back to Liana? Or...or stay here?" she asked softly

He thought for a moment. "My duty is to keep Liana safe until my death. This guild did my job for all those years she was missing." He sighed. "I have to go back and keep her safe. It is my sworn duty until she releases me from it. However, until that day." he rolled back his tunic sleeve to reveal his upper arm. "I said I never had any family in this world. If I could... I would like to be part of this family right here." He had revealed his arm as an indication of where he would want a guild mark were he to be allowed.

Edo-Sasha rose almost silently, heading out the room. She knew where the guild marker was-just about everyone did, after all. She had been the one to give her brother his mark. And of course, EL-Sasha hers when she was trying to be passed off as Edo-Sasha.

She returned, not saying anything. She didn't even ask him what colour he would like, instead, she chose white, and stamped his upper arm. "I think all of us need to remember out earthlander counterparts. This way, you will always remember that there is an angel version of you, and that you are both apart of our guild"

She set the stanp aside, and looked to Edo Lazarus

He was shocked. He looked down at the white mark. "Wow... So this is what it's like to be in a guild ey?" The mark looked good, and Sasha's words were sweetness to his ears. "Yeah, I won't be forgetting him in a hurry." He smiled. This was stupid. He was giving her up. But he was part of their family now, surely that wouldn't matter? "Tell me Sasha... What do the people of this guild think about me? I doubt I will be welcomed with open arms." He muttered solemnly. He looked at her with worrying eyes.

Edo-Sasha leaned back, and sighed. "I think most of them merely think you are foolish. But they can understand, and that goes a long way to fixing things. But the Mark means Family. It means acceptance. It means forgiveness for foolish action, and it means that we have your back" She said softly, "That's why I got it over my heart. Because it felt like home, more so than my parents home"

He was taken a back. "I see..." It was a start. She revealed the true meaning behind the positioning of her mark. "That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard." He sighed dotingly. "I have to be honest with you. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to live my life now. I feel slightly empty inside."

Edo-Sasha laughed "None of us have any idea how to live our lives. We just do. She said, looking out the window, into the land she loved. She could see Ben, Playing outside, probably as he was without a legion to look after for now,, taking the time to have some fun. "You just have to do what makes you happy"

"Yeah... Happy." He looked at the mark. He looked back at her. "That sounds like a good idea. A life without self restriction." He sighed. "I think I'll like this family."

Edo sasha smiled, and gave a nod before rising, "it isn't so much a life without self restriction as it is...a place to belong. I'll go see about some food now" she said"don't go falling out of bed againl

He reacted as she got up. "Wait!" He lightly gripped her wrist as pulled her back to get a hand on her shoulder. He leaned himself forward and kissed her softly on the forehead, before repeating on the lips. He let her go and blushed. "Now we both have something to fail to forget" he smiled embarrassingly.

Edo-Sasha froze. It wasn't the kiss-or rather, not just simply the kiss. She tried to remember any time someone, anyone, had kissed her on the forehead, and couldn't. You would think your parents would, but her's hadn't. She looked away, if only to hide the sudden tears that filled her eyes.

"I..." but she had no words, so she turned to go see about food, if only to give her a few moments to herself, to try and sort everything out.

She couldn't help but think that something had changed.

She sighed softly, as she went to get food. She looked around, but the last two days, the guild had seemed...if not sad, but preoccupied. They hadn't found Edo-Karn, and she was worried. It seemed more and more likely as the days went by that something had happened to her, amd Edo-Sasha couldn't stand the not knowing. Would there be anyone of finding out what had happened to Edo-Karn?

she didn't think so. And wasn't that just wrong? Shouldn't they know about their guild member, their family? She gritted her teeth, and realised she had stopped, as if to suddenly turn, and march out the guild, to hunt down the answers. But she couldn't. She couldn't leave the guild undefended, and she couldn't leave Edo-Lazarus alone. gods know what he would do, if she didn't come back.

Sometimes, being responsible was a pain in the butt, Edo-Sasha thought, sighing.

"If you're out there, Karn, please, give us some sign. So we can know" She whispered softly to herself, as she went to the bar, seeing that there was stew. Well, if it meant she didn't have to cook. "We miss you." Sudden frustration took her, and the simple fact that she just couldn't do anything.

She sighed again, and filled bowls with soup.

Ayame

Outside Phoenix Wing

Nero - Jamie - Ariel

Ayame wasn't surprised that Jamie was holding her back again. She turned around with a big pout on her face together with an angry look. She kept quiet for a while she kept on staring at Jamie thinking on how to he would approve of her doing the magic trick together with Nero. She turned her body away from the two of them while folding her arms over each other and started talking a little annoyed and soft "The trick didn't fail when you tried it so I don't see the problem. And even when it goes wrong you said you would protect me." Ayame liked the guy he was funny and could entertain pretty well. She wouldn't believe on the first sight he was some bad person. Only a little bit nuts in the head but that would have been all. She looked down to the ground when she started trying to negotiate with Jamie "I could maybe use a bite after that if you really can't insist on taking care of me, but I don't need to stay or any new clothes" Her clothes would get ruined anyway and what she was wearing wasn't completely ripped apart just yet.

She gently smiled down at the ground not trying to show much of her face "It's better that way." She waited for an answer from Jamie for a minute and returned to her less social self and watched Nero talk and sometimes noded at the facts he gave about being nice and cool. She was a little surprised when he suddenly raised both his hands in the air. She angled her head as to what he was doing but giggled at his sentence. She gave a clear nod at the strange guy and moved over to his side. Her eyes widened and her underlip went into making a puppy face trying to convince Jamie it was all alright for her to do it.

Nero -=- Outside Phoenix Wing

As rebutted him, Nero rolled his eyes and began to hold up fingers. By the time that Jamie was done, her menacing advanced unacknowledged, Nero had raised six. He held them up as proof to Jamie, saying, “Six insults in that speech. Little, childish, et cetera. I was bein' pretty gosh-darn courteous before, but if you're not pullin' punches, I don't see much of a cause to. Except...for dearie's sake.” When Ayame moved over to his side, all but begging Jamie to let her stay with him for a little while, Nero smirked at the guild master. “Game, set, match,” he decided, ruffling Ayame's hair with a silky glove. “Points for convincing her to respect your authority, though. Look at that adorable pout! What puzzles me is where you get off tellin' me I don't know how to do magic. The Ell Oh Em's still in testing, sure, but it's not my only Curse Law. Take the Ell Oh Ay, for instance, though I don't know if it would work too well on you—you're already a shrew, heheh! At least I don't try and hide who I am, shapeshifter.” Nero held a hand in front of his face and wiggling the figures, miming an ever-changing mask. He then brought his cloak around, holding it in front of his face in a dramatic dracula pose. “Case in point: I've got a spoiler alert for you. Here it is: I am a dark mage! I wield magic capable of terrible things. But don't we all? If all the stories are true, Phoenix Wing has such incredible magic that it leaves a trail of property damage wherever it goes!”

“So what's the difference between a dark mage and a normal wizard?” Nero cupped his chin in his hands, attempting to look scholarly despite his broken glasses. Under normal circumstances he wouldn't be getting so engaged; the steady pain in his head from performing the Law of Manifestation was affecting him. He looked down at Ayame and winked. “Don't worry, dearie. Just sit tight while I wrap this up.” His attention returned to Jamie, that indelible smile still present. Ever since Ayame had come to his side, victory had been present in his tone. “The difference...well, it's gotta be what people do with their gifts. You guys work and earn money. I grant wishes and make people happy. That is my purpose, to think of others!” Nero didn't feel the need to defend himself against Jamie's accusation of tricking the girl. Though he felt that this debate needn't be continued, he clasped his hands behind his back. “Now then! I forgive you for being so mean to me. Even if I weren't a dark mage, judging comes easy. I'm still looking for a tanning salon, heheh, and you wouldn't believe how hard it is for me to gain weight. I'll bet I look like a nasty old sandy-haired skeleton! So don't feel bad about it.
