Dawn and Elizabeth Daniels - Crocus

@Lunarlors34

It was evident by this point that Cody was just some passerby. If he'd been part of the Council he would have said so by now and a dark guild member would act more kindly to those they intended to kidnap to lure them into a false sense of security. No Cody was just someone who'd happened to walk past at the right moment.

Dawn didn't particularly care for Cody's tone. It wasn't as though Elizabeth had hurt anyone. So she'd held up a street for a couple of minutes and knocked down a display stall. There were plenty of non magical people that had done much more terrible things. "It ain't like it can get much worse, not cause ah a bitta ice anyway." When Cody's disposition changed Dawn instantly knew that he'd come to the conclusion of why Dawn had brought Elizabeth here. From the way she acted and the earlier display it was clear that Elizabeth had problems with her magic.

When Cody started to speak again Dawn's eyes darkened. He took a step towards the wizard and grabbed him by the collar, his words slow with a clear threat to them. It was difficult to see in the direct sunlight but to the observant eye his skin appeared to glow ever so slightly. "There ain't nothin' 'wrong' with my sister." Dawn couldn't abide people that talked about Elizabeth that way. Sure she was somewhat out of the ordinary and she didn't think or act like most people but that did not inherently make her broken. She was one of the smartest people that Dawn knew even if the manner in which she expressed her intelligence was often hard to understand. "She's not broke and she don't need ta be fixed. Clear?" he said pointedly. "Good. We're both a little unsteady with our magic. As the Games are taking place in this city I figured this was as good a place as any to do some research, that's all."

Dawn let go of Cody's collar and took a step back. It was at this moment that he realized that Elizabeth was once again gone. Back in Clover Town when this happened it was usually easy to find her. The locals all knew to look out for her if she was on her own and the town wasn't all that big. In a city like Crocus however who knew where she might wander off to or what kind of trouble she could get into. They weren't in a small town anymore. There could be serious consequences if she ended up in the wrong place.

"Damn it." Dawn swore under his breath. he turned back to Cody. "Did you see which way she wandered off to?" Dawn didn't really have high hopes that he'd seen anything but there was always a chance. He started scanning the crowd hoping to get a glimpse of his sister running through the streets. She'd mentioned wanting Cotton Candy. Maybe that was were she'd gone.

Thor

By the distraction of Thor Zephyr was almost hit by Pyhrra her attack. If he was being trown at the ground he would have likely been trown out of the arena through the ground but he was just in time and was able to dodge. Thor was paying too much attention to defeat Zephyr, they were taken off guard by Malice her birds that were being launched at her.

When the first bird was about to hit Thor one of the spider legs quickly twitched about and slammed the bird towards the ground. Thor's head flinched towards Malice her spot and at the birds that were flying towards Thor after. Thor fully turned their body towards the birds and the legs quickly started moving. Each and every bird was electrocuted but Thor had difficulty stopping the bird from falling towards Thor. Some of the birds hit Thor full on when they had already been electrocuted. Some were dodged but Thor still took some damage and stammered backwards a bit.

"Hnng"

Thor quickly let their spider legs shrink to a moveable size and front flipped towards Malice till Thor was close. Thor upper kicked Malice in their last front flip and tried to upper kicked Malice. The spider legs immediately grew to their previous size as Thor landed on the ground before Malice. How could the girl have hurted Thor.

"Unforgivable"

Thor repetitively tried hitting Malice with the electric legs. The pattern was quite odd. Two legs tried striking Malice at the same time but each time it were two different legs. It was not only that but seeing how Thor struggled to even control the legs individually made it clear Thor wasn't experienced with the move. It showed a few little quirks like sometimes only one leg moved instead of two.

Cody

@Prince of Seraphs
"People don't care what non-magical people do, however trouble caused by a wizard is often exaggerated." Cody replied with a sigh before letting out a gasp of surprise as Dawn grabbed him by the collar.
Cody stared Dawn in the eyes with a rather relaxed look.
"I never said there was anything wrong with her. It could easily be her magic or an outside influence." Cody responded calmly while raising his arms in surrender. He had meant no harm, and even if this developed into a brawl he doubted he would win anyway.
Might as well show he is relatively harmless.
"However uncontrolled magic is a hazard. Even mine was, and it's useless." Cody added before Dawn released his collar.
"I didn't see where she went no, however if she uses her magic I can pinpoint her rough location. My magic's nature has made me sensitive to the usage of magic." Cody replied nonchalantly as he straightened up his cloak. Cody felt responsible for Dawn losing sight of his sister and wanted to make up for it.

Jasmine

@Raijinslayer
Jasmine seemingly either missed or ignored what Nidhogg had said about her mother as she began to tenderly touch his wound. This looked very serious, however there was a massive flaw in this plan of his.
"Um...I-I only just got into town myself. I came here to see the games with...my parents." Jasme responded slowly with a sheepish smile on her face.
"Ah...ummm...What would Cody do?" Jasmine thought aloud frantically as the bleeding started to escalate now. What would the Phoenix Wing mage do in this situation?

Grant Vale -- Magic Games Event
Grant took the fire blast head on, and it didn’t seem to even faze him as he charged Penny again, slashing wildly at her over and over again. The injuries he received from the fire blast would also find themselves on Karn. However, Grant’s injuries would begin visibly healing as he struck at Penny, quickly growing more and more adept at however it was he was fighting, and he’d be able to keep up with Penny so long as she stayed on the ground. Grant was too focused to be thinking of anything more than his next attack, but if he was to have a thought, it’d simply be "Die."

@Jangel13 @Amaya Yashia

"Well, that obviously means you pissed someone off. And with your previous attitude towards everything, it was bound to happen sooner or later. To the extant of hiring an assassin to kill you... well, that's also very possible. I would get used to it if I were you, cause it might be a very real possibility. So, welcome to life my friend." Joshua said, his tone completely nonchalant, as if he didn't care. In fact, it looked like his smile grew slightly bigger.

Pyrrha Arvanitas

@Oblivion666

Pyrrha frowned as Zephyr activated his God Take-Over. That could be a problem. Glancing around as the entire platform the competition was taking part on got covered in darkness, she only managed to avoid Zephyr's magic blast because the boy was too noisy for his own good. Taking a few more steps, she drew her sword, keeping an eye out for anything. Loki, the trickster god. She had to wonder if she could trust anything now.

Amelia Averyonna and Elyse Yashia

@Amaya Yashia @Caits

"Bye Luna!" Amelia said before returning to the stands. She moved over to Jamie's side and sat next to her, focusing on the games so that she could study the people she would be up against. She didn't want to lose if she had to fight again.

"Mommy? We get ice cream with Jamie?" Elyse asked her mother, looking a bit upset when her mother didn't reply right away.

Aria flew through the wall and into the hallway, staying in the pile of rubble around her for a few seconds before getting up and adjusting her headphones. When she was done, she dusted herself off and looked at Jack, making another dagger.
"Yours and mine." She said, waiting for Jack's next move, as she was obviously not backing off.

The note would read to master Jamie, I sent mark to you to send you this message that we will be going to see matter jack and by we I mean me, Josh and Amaya. Don't worry if anything happens mark will let you know by pecking your cheek. He's smart so he will know if it gets to much for us. Please keep him safe for me, from Angelo

@Joshua Tamashii
Angelo looked at him skeletal, he started to see him smile even wider when he said that and that just seemed annoying. "if I didn't know better is think you were enjoying this to much thinking it was best to leave it at that otherwise he might say something he would regret. No point in starting a fight with his protector as they got closer to see master jack

Dawn Daniels - Crocus

@Lunarlors34
Dawn shook his head at Cody's attempt to help. "She won't, it's the reason we're here. She don't know to use her magic." What he didn't mention was that if it came to the point of locating her by her use of magic no one in the district would need Cody's abilities. The last time Dawn hadn't been there for her she'd brought down a sizable section of Clover Town Cathedral. Dawn doubted that she'd hurt herself if her abilities got out of hand but if a lynch mob formed in a city of this size because of her... Dawn didn't want to follow that thought to its conclusion. He'd read about wizards in isolated areas who'd been executed by an angry mob because of there magic. He didn't want to see that happen to his sister.

Not really bothering to see if Cody was following Dawn delved deeper into Crocus. She couldn't have gone that far. Then again Elizabeth had always been faster than him and a good climber, even before she'd lost her speech. He couldn't count on the fact that she'd merely wandered down the street. She could have gone anywhere. More to himself than Cody Dawn started to voice his thoughts aloud. "She mentioned wanting cotton candy. If there's a seller close by she might have gone there." Or a thousand other places. The twins Papa had always said that Elizabeth had a wandering soul and as long as Dawn had known her it had always been true. She always wanted to go further than they were allowed and beyond what seemed safe. She had lost a lot of things in the years since but that wayward spirit was not one of them.

Dawn continued to scour the streets frantically looking for a glimpse of the green cloak his sister had been wearing. He wouldn't let anything happen to her, he couldn't. After everything they'd been through they were all the other had.

Elizabeth Daniels - Market District

Crocus was a dazzling city. Elizabeth couldn't help be distracted by everything going on around her, people in colorful clothes coming into the city from exotic places. In some places she could hear music from various instruments played by wandering troubadours and bards trying to earn money for there room and board. It was like a giant carnival. People moving from stall to stall. Shop keepers selling there wares as fast as they could. Performers on every street corner doing one thing or another that drew they eye. Elizabeth paused in front of a firebreather, the sign at his feet declaring that all he arts were performed without the aid of magic. It was impressive the way he played with the fire without burning himself, almost like the two were engaged in some form of dance and the knowledge that there was no magic involved only made the show even more enthralling.

It wasn't long however before one thing or another drew Elizabeth's attention and she continued down the street all the while soaking up the atmosphere of the city. She was completely oblivious to how panicked her brother would be at this very moment because she was missing. Elizabeth's ears perked up. A few streets over she could hear loud raucous music played on fiddle and a number of other string instruments. Smiling she flitted through the crowd at an amazing speed arriving at the edge of one of the many many squares that the city possessed. On one side of the square a stage had been erected and a band was playing. Elizabeth didn't know what kind of music city people listened to but it was clear that this particular event had been set up for those coming from rural towns all of Fiore. The music was just like something Elizabeth would have heard at home and around the square a crowd had gathered for at the center around twenty people or so were dancing to the music.

Elizabeth stood in awe for a moment tracing the patterns that the dancers made in the ground. After a few moments Elizabeth found that she recognized the dance. She dropped her cloak to the ground along with her bag and grabbed the hands of one of the free boys that was dancing to the music as she joined in. There were few things that Elizabeth enjoyed as much as a country dance. People swinging each other round, trading off partners with the change of the tempo, spinning to the music and stamping there feet with the beat. It always gave the wayward girl a sense of deep contentment.

Ten minutes or so later the band went on break and for the moment the dancers broke up. Some going to get water or snacks and some just sitting around the square waiting for the music to resume. Elizabeth looked to were she'd left her things, or more accurately dropped them without a second thought only to discover that her cloak and bag were gone.

Elizabeth raced over to the spot confused at there disappearance. "Dear." said a voice from somewhere to Elizabeth's left. She looked up to find an old woman holding her things. The old woman smiled. "You shouldn't leave your possessions out in the open like that, there are crooks everywhere in this world."

Elizabeth smiled back at her as she took her stuff back. She fished around in her bag for a moment before pulling out a notepad and writing two words on the page before holding it up for the old woman to see.

Thank You

If she was surprised at all by Elizabeth's lack of speech she didn't show it. "You are most welcome my dear. I run an inn right around the corner. If you are ever in need don't hesitate to drop by."

Elizabeth nodded before curtsying and then walking past the old woman with a wave to continue exploring the city.

Nidhogg

Nidhogg frowned, than let out a sigh as he turned his gaze downwards to his chest.

"Yeah, this is becoming more trouble than it's worth, I'm just going to do a quick fix and take care of it myself. Will still require money for the more permanent solution, so please don't tell me you're without that as well." As he spoke, he seemed to ignore his cracked ribs as he pushed his arms towards the wound, digging into it with his hands and pulling it apart with sickening cracks and squelches. Soon, one would be able to see into the cavity of his chest, his beating heart which was an unusual black color and gave off a rather rotten smell. Quite a few onlookers would either faint or run off due to this showing of one's inner workings, but Nidhogg payed them little mind. Now that he was able to get a proper few of the damage, he began shifting the bones with his magic, eventually getting them in well enough condition and position that he felt it right enough to be set back into place. With a strenuous push of effort, he'd close the wound over itself, and then cover it with flesh, muscle and sinew until it looked good as new.

This show of magic had disturbed many, and most people were trying to escape from the scene. However, one unlucky soul tried to run past the source of the disturbance, and was swiftly caught by him while he was inspecting his rush job on fixing up his torso.

"Are you a local to Crocus, and don't lie to me, cause I'll know."

Nidhogg's tone, while nonchalant, was filled with a hidden menace that made it very clear to the person he was speaking too that grave danger would come to him if he wasn't a 100% truthful. The man didn't speak, only nodding his head rapidly as he struggle not to wet himself in fear of this monster that had him in it's grasp.

"Good, now then, do you know where a butcher's shop is?"

Another nod, followed by a point down a nearby alley.

"Oh, you'll even show me the way? How very kind of you, and while I hate to insist, I feel it'd be rude to decline the offer. Come one then, lead the way." The man would gulp as he was released, saying nothing as he led the way to the butcher shop, keeping an eye on his captor, who made a sign for Jasmine to follow him as he followed the fearful citizen. As they made their way to the butcher shop, Nidhogg turned to Jasmine with a smile, as he reached out with a hand towards her in greeting.

"I'm sorry, I've been a bit rude and forgot to introduce myself. The name's Jackson, Jackson DuCarthy, though you can just call me Jack if you prefer. If you'd be so kind as to tell me your name and what your story for being in Crocus is, then it'd make the walk go by that much faster. Oh, and I do apologize for that nasty bit of business, but seeing as how it would probably take some time to get to the Butcher, I felt the need to get my body back in order was much needed, less I started to break other parts that are less easily fixed, such as my lungs. Always an annoying bit of organic machinery, the lungs, so fragile and delicate, yet needed for so much. Dreadfully annoying, to say the least."

Cody

@Prince of Seraphs
"I see..." Cody mumbled in response. He didn't need her to use any sort of large scale magic, simply a release of magical power would do the trick. And considering how unstable her magic seemed to be, he decided quite quickly that it would be a lot safer and easier to find her and quickly.
Cody heard a noise from behind them and glanced over his shoulder. He narrowed his eyes and scanned the area quickly. However after finding nothing he simply hurried after Dawn, and once he caught up he heard Dawn muttering to himself.
"There's a cotton candy stall about a block from here if memory serves. I was involved in....I mean I passed it the other day." Cody was about to tell Dawn about the fight he had had with the Celestial beasts but quickly managed to avoid mentioning it. Better to not mention he had gotten into a magical fight after that lecture about magic in the streets.
"However might it not be quicker to ask if someone had seen her?" Cody suggested with a shrug. It was a long shot, but maybe someone might have a clue as to where to go.

Jasmine

@Raijinslayer
Jasmine was horrified by the scene which unfolded quite rapidly, however she couldn't tear her eyes away from it. When Nidhogg gestured for her to follow she snapped out of her daze and quickly nodded.
"Ah..yes...Coming." Jasmine mumbled as she shakily followed the man. She was rather curious actually about how his body could do such actions without dying. It must be some form of rare magic!
Offering a smile now as Nidhogg introduced himself she took his hand and gave him a firm handshake.
"Nice to meet you Mr Duarthy, I'm Jasmine Lockwood....or at least I am pretty sure I am." Jasmine responded with a curtsy.
"Why am I here? Well like I said, I came here to watch the games with my parents. However I got separated from them and got transformed into a sword using magic apparently. When I came to I was in the Phoenix Wing hotel after I was saved by a couple of their wizards, I had no memories and to be honest they're still a little jumbled. I was meant to be searching for my parents with a wizard called Cody, but I got separated from him." Jasmine explained thoughtfully as they continued their walk to the butcher shop.
"However I am most interested in your magic Jack! It must be pretty rare!" Jasmine stated excitedly.

???? ????

A purple haired girl was sitting atop a rooftop holding a meditating pose while she waited for her companion to return. She liked to meditate whenever possible, and what better time than now to do so?
She slowly opened one eye when she heard her silver haired companion return, the silent girl now nodding towards the purple haired girl.
"Mistress I have returned." The silver haired girl said as she got down on one knee in front of the purple haired girl. This made the voluptous purple head sigh.
"How many times I have told you not to call me that? No matter, what was so urgent you had to leave anyway?" The purple head asked irritabely. It was uncharacteristic of her companion to do such sudden actions without some sort of prior warning, and considering she was her underling technically she would rather her not act on her own anyway.
"I had heard Nidhogg-sama was in town and went to investigate some other rumours. I have something which might interest the Master." The silver haired girl face and voice was devoid of all emotion as she started her report. This news certainly caught the purple haired girls attention.
"Oh really now? Do go on." She said with a slight smile. Where there other targets in town?

Zephyr Hardt

He smiled when she dodged his attack and he rose back to the surface. "I really should be silent huh? Yet no snarky remark for that? Here I was thinking that was part of your charm to be snarky. Oh well I'll take this a bit more seriously." He stated before forming a rather large orb about two feet big and threw it into the air above her. Yet then rushed at her pointing his palms at her, yet instead of an attack this circular black object formed around his height and he vanished into it. He would reappear above the orb he threw earlier and would jab his fingers in it. He had to hold back on shouting the name and just exploded the ball into a energy bullet hell that would rain down on her. Yet because Zephyr was becoming to distracted with the fight, he wasn't realizing his time limit was dropping before he lost control.

Samir Saron

After Samir finished her paperwork, she decides to head out and take a stroll across Crocus. After all, this was her third day since she came back, so she might as well check out how the city was doing and if any other buildings or stores had changed. She only explored a small section with Marlene yesterday, but obviously not the entire place. The games can wait anyways. Yet as she continues walking towards her favorite ramen location, where she used to eat before and after coming back from a mission, she still thinks about Marlene and what she did yesterday. Of course, she's still resting from the wounds she gained from fighting Argus, but again, the girl was still vulnerable. She could've gotten herself killed in that battle.

Oh well. Sammy shouldn't be overthinking this anyways. All that matters, is that she's still alive. Nothing more, nothing less. Suddenly, she looks over the corner of a building and surprise surprise, the Ramen place was still open. A faint smirk crosses her face as she decides to head in. She's also unaware that another mage, Elizabeth, was also nearby...

Ariel - GMG Phoenix Wing Stands

@CirusArvennicus@Lugubrious
She shrugged slightly. "When I'm first exposed mostly. I found out the hard way that my magic dies out when I overload. At least I'm pretty sure that's what it was." Her tone was pretty low. From past experience most that knew Ariel would know that she turned blue when she was feeling, well, blue. Expecting another question she attempted to answer it before they asked. "I can't leave right now. I made a promise to Karn and I intend to keep it."

It took her a moment looking at Trinity and Fleo's faces to tell that they were worried about her. Right, she clearly wasn't in the brightest of moods right now. And her last statement probably didn't make a whole lot of sense. "I'll be fine. I was able to talk with Karn using some of my magic. That Spirit one I thought was so useless." She sighed slightly. "Anyway. I finally got through to him but it took a toll on me. He's been holding onto a lot of guilt from his past and I took a part of it with me. But he has hope again." For a brief moment Ariel smiled before it wilted again.

Jack Goran|Dragon Fang Hotel

As the trio approached the Dragon Fang hotel, the echo of the glass wielding girl going through the wall reached them. Jack, however, didn't move, remaining near Jackie within the room. "You are certainly welcome to try and add me to the list, but know that better wizards than you have tried." His arms were both enveloped in black flames, but nothing they impacted burned but the girl. "Leave. Now."

"No, no, it's okay."
Angel slowly stood and, after a few seconds, turned to face Cyare and climbed out of the hot tub. "Kaia's blind, I should probably be helping her around myself. I should probably get going anyway. We're going to need to grab a combat job while we can."

Noting the brief look of surprise on his fellow tub occupant's face, Angel's grin took on the first gleams of ease and confidence it had displayed all morning.

"What? I may get a little tongue tied in a hot tub, but I'm not a complete slouch. Don't have to worry about most monsters showing up to fights half naked. And the ones that do...well, that's why I have a blind friend."

Had she caught Fleo on a strange morning? Or had the minstrel's own pace been throwing the other woman off? Hmm. As though to return the favor, Fleo outpaced her to catch up with Ariel, though she didn't actually think Fleo would be so... spiteful.

But, here was Ariel. She didn't quite like that Ariel wasn't sure what had caused her magic to 'die out', but at least it came back? But, this mysterious promise to Karn had her interested. Something must have happened recently, then, but there were so many questions. She had some saved up, but she could get to those later. She should begin with the relevant before taking a tangent. "You used your spirit magic to talk to Karn? So they are both in there."

"And you... took some of his guilt? And gave him hope?" Somehow, she felt like she'd failed. "I'm glad someone could help that stubborn guy, but there's still the other matter to sort out. Hmm..." There were two souls in the same body, and one was more powerful than the other, threatening to consume it. Perhaps Karn could gain power enough to overcome the threat of consumption, with his new hope, but that still left two souls in one body, two souls that wanted to exist in different places. One was from Edolas, the other, Earthland. "Ariel, how did you manage to talk to Karn? You said you used your Spirit magic, but... could you be just a little more detailed? And you're sure you're feelin' alright?"

"I suppose the very concept is something unique to humanity. Not exactly a concept the average monster would entertain. Could be a significant disadvantage against another mage, however." The Tactical Mage took this new information in stride, adding and readjusting her perceptions of the other mage as well as his companion. Try though she might, a blind mage being combat-capable was a difficult concept to process. More than likely her chosen magic had some kind of sensory input, something she could use to compensate, but that was still a glaring vulnerability. What if she fought a user of Tactical Magic, like Cyare herself? Knight Form would put her out of commission in an instant. ... Still, it was not her business. Nor was she likely to fight such a mage. "Like I said, most of the combat jobs were gone yesterday. I wish you luck, but I have doubts that any remain."

"I will have to locate my... associate... before I go." She frowned slightly as she secured the robe tightly about her, tucking her sheathed blade under one arm. A thought occurred, but she wasn't sure if it was one she wished to follow through on. But it might be advantageous... And there were not likely to be many jobs left for them given how many mages were in the city. "If you cannot find one, see if I or my associate, Rei, are still on the premises. An additional couple of pairs of hands would not be a disadvantage, I suppose."

Karn/Edo-Karn || Crocus || Game Stadium

@Burthstone@Caits

Stupid wizards. Stupid magic. Stupid transformation magic.

"... Eddy, I'll help out. It's okay, we can do it together. So let's wake up. I'll show you what a real transformation is." Karn's voice spoke out in the unconscious body before emerald eyes snapped open. The right eye being the usual emerald green, but the left eye was glowing with a almost ethereal green. Karn could feel the lacrima in his neck seep further into his flesh, barely showing anymore now from underneath the scarf.

"Alright. It was suppose to be your fight anyway. About time you stopped lounging about." Edo-Karn responded.

Transforming, Karn turned into a large worm, burrowing through the earth. He could not see, he could not hear, but he could feel the world around him. He did not really enjoy turning into things like this because the very different senses these sorts of creatures have, but they did come in handy. Quite a bit was happening as the vibrations against the earth indicated but he made his way toward a certain still vibration. The spot that had some heat, but didn't have the increased body heat Penny had and was also the closest to the said body heat. He felt burns on his body, so he quickly transformed again into a Chimera, feeling the rock break away from his bigger body while his jaws quickly opened.

"Eastern Chimera Roar." He roared, the firey solar blast erupting from his mouth and bursting from the earth below where Grant was, his own body heat skyrocketing to almost feeling like it was boiling, even more so now that he was in the sun and being powered by it.

Smoke and debris surrounded them as he emerged from the earth. When it cleared, the blonde boy hand reverted back to human form and was promptly in a cute frilly pink dress with white lacing. "Hiya!" he giggled cheerfully, waving and bouncing energetically.

His expression suddenly changed into a 'what the utter fuck' expression, the ethereal green eye twitching. "Where and how did you get that dress?" his lips moved, though this time it was Edo-Karn speaking. Face changing back to cheery as he giggled a bit, the blonde hummed innocently.

"Mmmmmagic! A good transformation wizard is always prepared for a change of clothes!" he chirped.

"I think you just enjoy crossdressing. You weirdo." Edo-Karn responded before looking over the shared girly body. "I change my mind. Give me control and get out of this." she stated, seeming unsure how to particularly react to this.

Karn giggled, happily twirling and making the edge of the dress twirl with him. Seeming to pay no heed to Edo-Karn's more or less unfavorable reaction to having a dress on.

Prince || Crocus || Game Stadium

Prince hummed in amusement as he watched the games, ears twitching ever so slightly. "Perhaps, but there is little that can be done. People are born with magic, and the witch hunts that happened aren't exactly looked highly upon. It probably would have helped if most of the more experience magic users hadn't been hunted out, while new wizards were still being born. But lacked proper teaching. Great power comes great responsibility after all." he mused before his ears slightly perked as Karn seemed to wake up. The real one. Huh. Interesting indeed. Suppose he might not need to act after all.

Nidhogg

"Memory loss, huh? How interestingly tragic, though I must say i'm at a loss as to how transformation into a sword would lead one to suffer such an ailment. I guess shock could be a likely cause but still, quite peculiar." Nidhogg scratched at his chin in contemplation of the event, before he decided to address the second part of the girl's speech, not wanting to have the poor girl get the wrong impression. "As for my magic, I must say that is quite nasty business, and definitely not something someone like you should get involved with. I'm sure you can agree that what I just did was highly unnatural and more than a little disturbing. Magic is a very dangerous and corruptive thing in certain cases, and contrary to what some people might say, evil magic does exist. It's not very prevalent, but it does exist and is definitely something that shouldn't be messed, less you find yourself in a bad situation. My magic is more like a side effect of a curse, to be honest, and while I feel like it's made my life better and more fulfilling in the long run, that could be in fact because I'm most certainly not the same person I was before gaining this power."

Nidhogg seemed like he was about to say more, but then notice a rather large sign that indicated the butcher shop. He sent the citizen on their way, and walked into the store. He didn't talk to he man, leaving that to the girl, instead going up to a medium-sized hung of meat, smiling to himself as he walked into the back room, slamming the door shut behind him. He opened the door a tad to gaze out with a small gleaming white smile.

"The girl will pay for the meat, and I'll be out within a few minutes. Don't bother me until I'm done, or you'll regret it." He then shut the door, leaving the butcher to look between the door and Jasmine, before he turned back towards the door. He was about to open the door up when the sound of ferocious feeding began to resonate from the room. He took a peek in through the window, took on a rather pale complexion, than took a seat and looked at Jasmine.

"So . . . that'll be 50 jewels."

@Caits
FERRIS

"And it looks like this game is nearing its end and it seems like Grant-! No wait! Karn is making a comeback and he...why is he in a dress and how did he do that?" Ferris said with a straight face. He leaned back and scratched his head in puzzlement at the transformation mage. Glancing over to Jessie expecting to see if she was getting a kick out of this whole thing, but she was uncharacteristically glum. Seeing her this down only made him worry more so he decided to try and snap her out of it. How he may do that one would ask? It's an easy answer; playful revenge. Quickly he scooped up her short body and hugged her to his lap. "You're way too docile. Tell me what's wrong or else I'm going to take matters into my own hands." He whispered into her ear with a sly smirk on his face.

NOLAN

"So is he finally taking this fight seriously. About damn time." Nolan had grumbled under his breath at the sight of Karn making a comeback...although he was in a dress again. At this point he was almost jaded to Karn's antics, almost. Receiving a kiss on the cheek from him this morning stunned him and confused the living hell out of him. Was the feminine boy just messing with him or being overly friendly...No, it couldn't be that...He would have to ask him why he did that just in case. Karn was just a friend to Nolan so he didn't want things to be weirder between them, although things were always weird in between their interactions.

jarvis
@Natsume Honnaji
Jarvis gave a nod to robin, before starting up the stairs, climbing them up to Robins floor, and to the right door. "here it is. Before I forget, do you need accomadtion back in magnolia? We provide rooms for members at a rate of 10 percent of what you earn a month, and have plenty of rooms available" or would by the time the games were finished.

penny
@burthstone
Penny couldn't do anything without harming Karn. She cursed lightly, nimbling dodging Grant. She frantically searched for a way to end this. She wanted to win, but her need to protect a guild mate was stronger. As Grant came at her again, Penny would allow him to get close, and then she flung her arms out, brushing the dagger away, not reacting as it cut her slightly, and flung her arms around Grant tight.

"You don't know what it means to truly care about someone. You're done" her body was engulfed in flames once more, but then Grant was practically flung out her arms, leaving her standing there, blinking at the Karn in a dress, before snarling and looking down at her now healing wrist.

Jessie
@hatakekuro
Jessie watched the battle, occasionally commenting on it, but it was without her usual flare. As things seemed to get heated between Grant, Penny and Karn, she spoke up.

"I think we all thought there was no way out for Phoenix Wing's Penny. But she doesn't seem to be giving up and oh my, what is this? Phoenix wings Karn has entered the fray once more! What will Grant do-hey!" she squealed it as Ferris scooped her up, and managed, just, to flick her mic off.

She wriggled, quite deliberately, "seems like you already have" she said, but couldn't deny, Ferris made a comfortable seat. She sighed, letting herself relax slightly.

"I...you're thinking of joining a guild, and it just feels like...like I'm losing you before we even truly began"

Master Jamie
@joshua Tamashii
Jamie gave a smile to Amelia when she returned, "we are thinking of ice cream, if you wish to join us. I'm going to stop and check on Jackie as well" which, as Jamie read the note, she should do quickly, and intercept Angelo, just in case.

Michael

Michael gave a heavy sigh, pondering a few things. "The thing is, people, in some places, are still being hunted because they have magic" he said softly, and didn't say anything else about that, troubled.

"I think these games could show what wizards could be, but...it could also bring about that fear again. Right now, I guess it could go either way. There's not been anything big to show that we are here to protect fiore, not that that would be good anyway.

Some things take a while to heal. The games are meant to bring us together, but so far all it's doing is throwing us apart"
