Almost, I have run into a problem. Since we were not clear on the times, I have no idea what to do about it, except to write up a completely new post... and I really don't want to do that.

You could change it to he saw Mithera fly by the previous night and spent all night looking for her, passed out or something, woke up, found the tuft of fur, and everything else be dandy... Or something like that.
