The Crimson curse: This curse feeds on feelings of Rage, battle/bloodlust, and other such emotions, whether they're the users own or that if those around him. He doesn't drain the emotion so much as his ability is empowered by it's presence. The angrier his foe, the stronger the magic will be as a result. That being said, if he's fighting a foe that's goid at keeping their cool, while his annoyance will make it stronger as well, this Curse gets a bigger boost with the emotions of others.
The Crimson curse allows the user to summon an brilliant crimson energy that can take on the properties of lightening, fire, and pure magical energy, while being none of those things. This gives it a good range of offensive versatility, but it has no defensive capabilities beyond 'Blast whatever is coming at you'. This energy is highly destructive and corrosive, as contact with it will cause degradation of armors, clothes, even magic protection barriers, the amount of which depends on how concentrated the attack was, how much power it was packing, and the amount of energy that was used. This means that, given time, he can break through virtually any defense and is impossible to trap for an indefinite amount of time. Sooner or later, he will get out.
Also, to add to his escape abilities, the crimson curse is immune to any type of magic that seeks to absorb, nullify, or otherwise affect magic, simply because it is not magic. This means that he has a rather nasty surprise for anyone who things those abilities will be able to stop him. However, if the spell doesn't target magic specifically(like if it's an energy absorbtion or refelction thing) than it will still take effect.
The curse is also capable of imbuing itself onto weapons and objects the user touches, though the destructive nature usually causes them to self-destruct shortly after. Only a few types of materials can handle the curses affects, while everything else either turns to dust . . . or explodes.

Akai learned a bit of requip magic over the years, enabling him to summon any weapon he's collected. Almost all of them are throw-aways that will end up going boom in the long run. He does have, however, two weapons that he saves for special cases. The Crimson Nightmare, made by a blacksmith of impressive skill, made using the scavenged bones and scale of old dragon corpses to make a blade of extreme resiliency. It's nearly indestructable ,and able to take on his power with out a strain ,even when he put all his power into it. The blade doesn't have much of an edge naturally, but when imbued with the power of the Crimson curse, the corrosive powers of the energy become concentrated onto the edge, making it so that it can cut through a lot if materials with ease, and allow for a more potent application of the curse degradation abilities.
His second weapon is a 3 part staff, which is made of the same material as his blade and with him in mind. The staff can actually hold a set amount of the curse within itself, connecting the 3 parts of the staff with a flexible beam of the stuff and allowing him to manipulate it's movements. He can also make constructs with the energy, increasing the versatility of the weapon, and making it so his foes never no what quite to expect from him.

History: Caedis used to live a normal life, one of peaceful tranquility in a small town in the Fiore. Sadly, that peaceful life was cut short by the invasion of a dark guild, who took over his town, slaughtering everyone in order to lay them as offerings in some dark ritual, and Akai was chosen to be the vessel. It was belived by the cultist that a demon would come down and bestow upon them all the powers of a demon. And while a demon did appear, cloaked in shadows and death, it wasn't the cultists who were turned, but Caedis. He doesn't remember much about what happened, only that he was forever changed by the experience. He was stronger, faster, all around better than other people, but he also found himself struggling to regain morals. He has to constantly struggle with his demon instincts every day of his life, and it's never easy.
From then on he's been somewhat of a mercenary for hire, taking on any job that paid and woukdn't get him into
too much trouble with the law, years of his life spent fighting both his foes and himself has left himmwith little to care about and seeing his life as something expendable. If the momemt ever comes where he feels he can dosome real good at the cost of his own life, he'd do it with little hesitation. He's lived a long life, with it's ups and downs, and has grown to believe that he's over-due for a visit from the Reaper.
Personality: He's a wild, immature, reckless, and somewhat perverted individual. His cares are few and his vices are many, but his heart is usually in the right place, though it wasn't always so.

Additional details: Caedis is only half-demon, as the ritual that turned him was poorly constructed and lacked the necessary number of sacrifices to properly turn him. This means that while all of his physical and magical attributes are increased by a respectable amount, it's not as powerful as he could've been. However, as a bonus, things that would are strong against demons don't effect him as much, meaning that if he were to face a devil slayer, their attacks wouldn't be as effective against him as they would a full demon(though it'd still be more effective than it would be on a normal person)
Due to his half-demon blood, Caedis has enhanced physical attributes, such as strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and so on. He believes that one day, if he works hard enough, he may be able to push his curse o the next level by awakening his True demon form, or so people say when the abilities of demon's comes up. Whether he can actually achieve such a feat remains to be proven
Caedis has been accused of using his curse's corrosion abilities to dismantle the clothes of woman to see them nude, and every time he's denied it. He wasn't able to do it without a shit-eating grin, but he still denies it.
