So one question before I start working on Dornae's intro post. How many days/how long have the Grand Magic Tournament been in session?

Also, is this the first year of them, or what?

EDIT: Is it still held in a big stadium/Colosseum thing?

I can only imagine day 4 if every day tops the previous.

Actually... That'd kinda suck for the magic games if they didn't. "Yeah, Day one and Day two were freaking awesome, but the rest of it was just okay."

Funny thought I just had. A villain who spontaneously falls asleep while monologuing.

So you'd be fighting him and he blocks an attack and smiles, responding with, "Ha, your efforts are--_{*loud obnoxious snore for 5 seconds*}," the villain's opponent proceeds to try and throw him and he like uses a Judo counter and flips you onto your ass while still asleep. Then waking up just to go, "Hahaha, you fool--_*snores*."

That is pretty funny. All I know is that Midnight fought while asleep for some time.

Then imagine adding magic into the equation in tangent with him being really intimidating when he does manage to monologue. I feel like the fight would be really emotionally/psychologically confusing.

One moment you'd be taking him seriously and the next he's asleep and still countering your moves or outright beating you into the ground. Then he's awake again and he's intimidating, but he offsets that intimidation with randomly falling asleep.

So he's unpredictable and emotionally exhausting to deal with because you keep going between taking him seriously and wondering why the hell he's falling asleep xD

Charging fire in his palm Damin threw a fireball at the mysterious man, even as he kept backing up to keep his distance, this one was a strange one. "Ha!" the mysterious man exclaimed as he caught and threw aside the attack, his palm glowing with a strange energy even as he approached. 'What is with this guy,' Damin thought as he began charging another spell. "I hope you're not preparing yet another one of your puny spells. You've not hit me once in earnest and you--" he stopped, his head leaning forwards despite his body continuing on his forwards path.

Damin weaved his hands around him and then aimed at the man. In an attempt to use the man's strange reaction he set fire to the ground around him and then amplified the flames into a pillar. However, before the fire could do any damage, it was blasted outwards from the man in all directions. In the same moment the man had accelerated and closed the 4 meters between them. As such Damin found a fist in his face, but what stuck out to him more than that was the sound of a loud snore when the man approached. At least, that was what he remembered before slamming into a wall and being barely able to maintain consciousness.
