@CaitsSorry for the late reply, been thinking on your question and I think it's actuall improved the history somewhat. Ryker's clan is large, but isolated from the world at large. They kept to themselves for the most part in a mountain retreat, sending people out for supplies, hunting, whatever was needed. They'd bring back some people at times, to inject new blood into the community, but for the most part they were very much a society of people who wished to keep their blood 'pure'. The Psionic Origin used to be a normal one, but a mutation in the clan's early history(and several other factors) led to the formation of the area of the brain that enables their abilities. Of course, this isn't without a cost in normal magical ability. Ryker's natural magical energy reserves are low, and it'd be next to impossible for him to access his second Origin. Not to mention that he suffers from some mental disorders as a result of his closed off environment, which was happy but suffocating, the in-bred nature of the clan(which he was a direct result of, with his parents being brother and sister, and the trauma from his families destruction.
@YipeeXD Yeah, the age thing was bothering me a little to, but I didn't change it because I didn't feel like his obsession would be as believable if he was older. Or maybe it was because I was afraid that it'd make him less open to change and cause him to be hard for other characters to want to interact with, which is already going to be difficult enough. That being said, considering the world of fairy tail, it's not that unbelievable. Either way, I'm willing to change it if it's a big issue.
