@Lugubrious@Crimson Raven I agree that it's not the same, but that's to be expected. I still think it has some of it's original charm and feel, and the animation has gotten a bit better as well. Still have yet to see episode three, but so far, I'm still enjoying it.

The fight scenes have lost their awesome fast pace and feel more morderate. If the Yang in the Yellow promo fought the new Yang, she would kick her ass withot breaking a sweat.

The dialogue has gotten to the edge of terrible. The most notable example is in the third episode so I won't spoil it.

And then, there was the opening. It was mediocre at best.

@Crimson Raven It's really a shame. It'll never be the same show without Monty. But to be perfectly honest, those epic fight scenes were really the only thing RWBY had going for it and without Monty's direction I'm just not sure if the web series is going to hold my interest.

I do give them credit though, because it's not like their a massive anime company. They don't have the same assets and they're doing the very best they can. If I look at that, then RWBY is basically just a very well made machinima. Which is fine.

I think the show's still good (I thought episode 3 was the best overall, actually) but the fighting in the first two at least totally failed to impress me. Hopefully, after a rough start, they'll be able to preserve the quality of the fights and keep it as a fine show in my estimation.
