I asked to me mention if the dome battle progresses, and I find only two of you did, then, half of you seemed to have ignored that fact that Ferrin already put a big, obvious hole in the side of the outer dome AND put a smaller one in the inner dome.

Whitch means that you needed needn't bother getting in the top, because, gee, theres a great fricking hole in the side

Piece of advice: Read Read Read before you post. Open a tab for every post you can find about what is happening, refer back to them as you type, ask in here if something is unclear. Because nothing is more irritating to anyone when they have to repeatedly remind people about something obvious.

Then, re-read your post, make sure that it makes sense, and your character acts like they should, considering the situation, fix typos, and clean up your grammar.

I realize this does not apply to all of you, but I am too tired and frustrated to find out who did what. The frustration is not from this. RL is to blame.

I have not even posted since before you made the holes. Although I do remember there being some question about if Ferrin actually had made a whole in the inner dome. Also due to the fact that you described the outer hole as "large enough for a tall man like Ferrin to pass through," its entirely possible that most people can't see it.

Its a dome that rises some distance above all the buildings in a city where everything is at least two stories tall. A hole big enough for a person to walk through is not exactly what I would call large, even when not comparing it to the size of the dome.

Allow me to remind you that whether or not the hole ACTUALLY appears is up to Raijin, it doesn't just happen because you want it to. I read all the posts, though somehow missed the secondary dome, though I reinstate that visually speaking, he couldn't see it anyways.

@Lunarlors34Okay, that wouldn't work, though it would be as easy as just moving through the dirt. Nidhogg is currently growing all of this bone from a tunnel he made from one of the ruined buildings(which he's been steadily feeding magic into for about 2-3 post for . . . reasons) underground to where Cody and Dawn originally were. Thus, these domes are more like spheres, but the underside is much weaker than the top-side for obvious reasons, so that would work just fine. I know it wasn't mentioned, but I didn't think most people would go for the whole underground thing. I'll be sure to mention that, a put reminders of it, in future posts.

Ah good to know for future reference, I just assumed the ground would be safer since her holy magic would protect her from most of what his magic could do (or at least nullify a good chunk) so the ground would be the easiest way to get in undetected. I could always add in again her destroying the underside of the dome?
Because she could also purify the ground she was...well tunneling I think is the best term here. She did destroy the road beneath her feet, then would've gone through the sewers or ripped out what was in her way and blasted her way in from below.
I did assume it went for a tad under the ground but didn't think it would be a sphere >.>

@Lunarlors34Nah, it's fine. Just something I thought should be mentioned. The more I play with Nidhogg, the more that I realize that while I wrote him with minions and physical combat in mind, he's actually got quite the talent in battlefield manipulation if he gets time to lay down his roots. The more time one gives Nidhogg to prepare the field, the more of a disadvantage they'll be at, and that's not to mention how he could simply kill all out of people in the dome by just releasing a bunch of Necrotic energy infused dust into the air. Imagining that in your lungs is not a pretty picture.

Edit: Well, I use thew term sphere a bit loosely, as it's more like a dome with a slightly rounded floor underneath the floor connected to the main bone by a bunch of ivory spires.

I assume Manami's magic might protect her for a bit at least...or lessen its effects anyway, maybe giving her chance to escape. Meanwhile I don't think Cody could stop that...it's more a status aliment than an attack >.>
Plus even if he did, Nidhogg would probably make more than he could stop.

@t2waveI've a question: What would Ariel be most likely to absorb from Nidhogg if he used his magic near her, as he has three forms of magic(Necrotic manipulation, Necrotic Energy, and Dragonic Transformation)? Or would she get all of them, and if so, what would their personalities/color scheme be?

@Lunarlors34 Nidhogg would basically just gas the entire dome, because it wouldn't hurt him and nobody he cares is inside. However, i think if Cody could make some form of enclosed barrier to keep out the necrotic energy, then they'd just have to worry about bone dust for a bit until one of the stronger mages busts out or deal with it somehow.

I thought he was fond of his guildmates!
Suppose he wouldn't be a fan of those loyal to Georgie (Manami is no loyal, so much as Shiro is and she wants to protect Shiro however if it came down to it, Shiro is more loyal to Manami than Georgie)...so he would probably get along with Maxie the most out of their S-Class wizards. Also I should warn you Georgie is in Crocus at the moment for...reasons >.>
However she is very good at masking her presence, and I don't think she is currently near the dome. Would have to check with expolar on that.

The move is over powered, when you put in into the context that it hasn't been used before, which I believe was in the post. It just seems over powered to do it by accident like that and successful on the first try.

It's seems unnecessary and just like there's trying to be a bit of showing off. I feel that it is overpowered for a character that has just begun.

Thank you Caits I know the definition of overpowered. That is not helpful in the slightest. I need to know specifically how and which components of the spell are causing the problems? This is how Dawn reacts to the fear aura, that won't change so some facade of the spell must. Which means I need to know which parts of it are problematic and which fit the situation.

The fact that it targets a specific person, how long it lasts, that it moves with a base line of consciousness, how large it is, how difficult it is to stop, how hot and violent the flames are. Simply put all of those can't be a problem because if they were Dawn would be left with virtually no magic.

So @Zarkun@Expolar next time you have a free minute if you could give me a hand figuring out what to do with this I'd really appreciate it.

I'll try not to. She has no business there anyway, her business lies elsewhere with a different issue entirely. Actual plot related stuff One of the reasons why I haven't posted yet as well, waiting on Expolar to not be busy so we can work out these details as her thing happens the same time as the dome events.
And no, Manami and Shiro are still there. Manami won't let him harm anyone simply because...she's Manami. That's how she rolls, she is against unnecessary killing. She has what she wants, however she won't stand by and let someone innocent die.
Unless SHE has snapped. Then she might be doing the killing >.>
And Shiro I can understand...but why Manami? Manami told him off for hurting Shiro. That was it, Manami didn't know however that Shiro tried to fight Nidhogg but so if her told her that she would tell Shiro off as well
