Recently (a few days ago), I finally caught up to about the latest episode. But now I really want to know what happens next and really want to find someplace to read the manga.

Yeah, I got disenheartened with the clock and eclipse arcs but thought keep on going. I'm currently up to episode 44 of season two, and just waiting for the rest to download

Yes, those two arcs were where I just took long breaks for more episodes to be release. But ya, after those two arcs I got back into the Fairy Tail episodes back to back.

Nah, I liked it too. But at the end of the day it still is a filler arc.

I liked the clock arc more than the eclipse arc. The eclipse arc felt a bit weird and too long for me. The same goes for the clock arc, but there were bits in it that I liked and I didn't find it as bad. But those one episode little fillers are fine by me, they're okay. Probably because because each episodes are different from each other compared to those two filler arcs that 10 - 20 long episodes, which eventually felt a bit boring as each episode felt kinda the same. :/
