How did we get to so much killing?
Hey. Damian did it. And Mayt. And maybe Melina but I haven't witnessed it yet since she held back. But now Damian is kinda a hypocrite if he rages if she kills a bad guy. XD
How did we get to so much killing?
It kinda felt to me, that Damian could of just as easily knocked them out since he literally killed two just about fresh fighting people in a matter of minutes but just took the fastest and easiest thing to do. Safer, but still something like the easy way out. XD
But yeah, it's kinda sickening to know the 'good' guy can be morbid. Probably why it can be felt as worse compared to a killer who is known to be a villain.

I don't think Melina is a villain though. More an anti-hero. Her magic is what it is, can't be helped. As for Damian, he's a soldier. I mean, did no one...I lost my train of thought becacuse food...
All I've actually had Melina do 'on screen' was murder a random guy in a back alley before harassing Phoenix Wing.
Found it again. Phrasing was bad in last post. Killing was an instinct instilled in him from a young age, but he was also taught that the only time it was OK was when it was to protect others. In his mind, knocking them out risked them escaping and making another plan that could hurt someone. He was doing what he thought was right and I intend to write his explanation that way.

Yeah, in a guild supposedly known for the rule no killing xD
If he's a soldier, he should stay a soldier. Not a Guild Member.
And again, he chose kill first, not trying for a alternative when he probably easily could by how easy he took out three A members.
It be one thing if it was a battle like Edo-Maddox that was actually quite straining.
But that didn't happen.
Only one that will probably end up like that is Hemlock which will probably end up happening.
And I dunno much of Melina, but she's apparently killed quite a lot. Who I don't know. XD
Though, now that I think about it, Damian has killed more than her since I've been here.
...
I guess I don't really have to wait for anyone?

I probably be on the side saying that Damian doesn't seem like a good guy since he seems to be the one that killed the most while being part of the guild. Yes, he did it to protect the people he cares about. But there's the rule of no killing in a light guild, yet Damian does it. Sure he was trained as a soldier a long time ago, but it feels like as a human being and ex soldier, he still has that decision to decide if killing is morally correct in any situation. Did he have to kill two or three people, I don't really know, but does killing people justify for his actions as being good or make him better than those villains who were doing something bad? There's also the characters that Phoenix Wing is fighting, we don't know too much about them. However, what if they have a good or bad family and/or friends and they hear about their death, they probably won't be happy and see Damian as some bad guy. Would Damian have to kill those people who might seek vengeance. I don't know if you know Kagura yet in the show (but you probably do since I think you're in that arc where she appears) but that girl just wanted revenge on Jellal for killing her brother Simon, although Jellal didn't have his head straight then. And I think she didn't like Erza for a bit since she couldn't save Simon, I think.
Maybe there could of been another way to stop them instead of killing, but it already happened so I guess we'll see what happens later.

Dunno xD

Indeed. XD it also' isn't his really his job to decide who dies or not anymore. Maybe if he was still a soldier, but not of a light Guild. Guilds are not the law, and there is no war going on. When it's war, its a bit different. So Edolas, it was a little more acceptable in my opinion. XD

Ya, that's another point there that I didn't realize too.
But I also was to state. I'm not saying this because I don't like Damian, I actually like how he stands out in his own way and does what ever he can to protect those he cares about. But with everyone, it feels like what ever action we choose, there has to be consequence or event that happens later because of it. Like maybe if he didn't kill those people, something else might happen in the future. But since they were killed, who knows what will happen.
This is why I really like roleplaying because of the different decisions that we can choose to have our character do.
I choose to have Wes leave the guild not just because of his reasons, but also because he's a bit more free now, especially now that his power/magic level became significantly stronger.
I just like roleplaying because...it's like building a world
Wes should join Frenzy Plant.
