BiographyBackground:Shou was born at the small village clinic on a rainy day about 23 years ago. Actually, none of his biological parents were Gobigakure residents. They were chuunin from Kumo (cloud) and Iwa (rock). They met in Gobigakure on separate missions, and found themselves in bed together. It was nothing more than a one night stand, they never met again. Shou’s father went home to Iwa the next day and his mother, stationed on the nearby Kumo outpost remained. Around nine months later Shou was born and his mother, lacking every bit of what is commonly known as maternal instinct sent him straight to the orphanage. He has never met his real parents.
Only a few weeks later he was adopted by a loving Gobi-couple. They were newlyweds, but unable to have children. They gave him his name, a home, and a future. At first they raised him as a normal child. His new parents were young and fairly wealthy, so he could have everything a growing boy would want. When he was around six his hidden powers were discovered. At first, his parents were horrified. They didn’t understand what it actually meant to be a ninja, and could only see their little child going to war. Luckily they changed their minds after speaking with some of Gobigakure’s ninjas, and allowed their boy to train.
He started his training only a year later, in Hiroshi’s makeshift academy. He learned how to control chakra, how to fight, how to throw kunai and shuriken, everything. Shou was proven to have talent for ninjutsu and was sent to specialised classes with a Chuunin named Miyuu. It became clear that his chakra element was lightning, and Miyuu was the strongest lightning-user in Gobi at the time. She taught him lots of stuff, but as she was not trained as a teacher, only half of it actually stuck.
After graduating the academy he got to do a few “low-level”-missions with his chuunin commander and team of genin. The basic stuff, picking up garbage, fetching lost pets… Nothing exciting. Most of the time was spent on training for dangerous missions that never came. Shou’s talent for ninjutsu was apparent and the chuunin taught him to channel the lightning chakra through various metal objects. Channeling lightning through weapons proved to be really easy since the electrical nature of the element actually aided the channeling rather than resisting it. After he’d practiced for an eternity with ranged weaponry and ninja wire the chuunin thought it was time to teach the boy how to use a proper weapon. Anything made of metal would do to enhance the power of his lightning jutsus. They started out testing various kinds of swords and daggers, hammers, staffs, sicles.. Anything, but since Shou couldn’t muster up much strength most of them would be pretty much useless to him in battle. As a last attempt Shou was given a chain whip, and from there he quickly moved on to the meteor hammer.
Shou was promoted to chuunin after he’d met death for the first time, he was sixteen. His team was out on a mission, patrolling the border to the land of fire. Suddenly an explosive tag was set off and the team scattered just like they’d practiced. One of his teammates died in that first attack. the second was ambushed as he hid somewhere, his body was never found.
with only Shou and his leader left standing the situation looked grim. they had no idea how many enemies they were facing or why. They tried to run away but a swarm of kunai and shuriken came out of nowhere and damaged the chuunin’s legs.
Shou was sent back to the village to get help while the chuunin stayed behind to buy him some time. He hesitated, but a second swarm of projectiles made him run. A minute later he could’ve sworn he heard the dying scream of his teacher.
He ran as fast as he could, but shadows dashed all around him in his peripheral vision. A kunai was thrown from behind, but Shou had expected it and could avoid it easily, but he didn’t see the second one. It struck his left arm and he was so surprised he crashed into a rock. He drew one of his own and waited. Seconds later a whole crew stood before him, ninjas of many different nationalities, those who still bothered to wear their hitai-ate has made a big scratch across the symbol of their village. the mark of a deserter, a missing-nin.
“Last one” they said jokingly, calling him weakling. Shou tried his best to look intimidating, but it had no effect. They all vanished except for one. A young girl, around his own age. She drew a sword and advanced swiftly, she didn’t even care to mask her intentions, in her eyes he was dead already. She swung the sword high above her head and brought it down. As it made contact with Shou’s hitai-ate a bright flash made her flinch, barely a millisecond later the charge had traveled down her weapon and into her hands, leaving them numb and throbbing.
“You little shit!” she yelled and rammed the blade straight through Shou’s chest. shou’s body tensed up and then went slack.
With a puff of white smoke the dead body was replaced with a small piece of wood. The kunoichi realised her mistake and tried to pull her sword out, but she’d driven it into the rock and it had stuck there. In her blind spot Shou was already advancing fast with a kunai clutched in both hands. She turned and tried to block, but it was too late, the kunai pierced her chest and her heart. She was dead only seconds later.
Fearing for his life, Shou didn’t stay, he ran back to the village and tried to get help, but the village leader Hyuuga Hiroshi though it too dangerous and ordered everyone to stay in the village.
Today:Shou has been a chuunin in Gobi for a while and has seen about as much action as anyone. Not a single damn mission in five months, and last time his mission involved building a small bridge to replace one that had collapsed. One technique, five minutes work, home.
Shou is not at all satisfied with his situation and is constantly bugging Hiroshi about more missions. He feels that this long time of passiveness merits action, soon.
Personality: Shou is friendly enough to hang around and some might even call him a great guy. he takes himself and his work as a ninja very seriously and has a hard time relaxing while out on a mission. Shou is always calm and collected, to the point where others think that he lacks passion and interests. Or even worse, that he’s constantly and silently judging everyone around him, and thinks himself better than them. Nothing could be further from the truth though. Shou finds many things in the world very fascinating and can spend hours studying them, while uninteresting things barely gets a glancing look. He does look at his fellow humans though and enjoys guessing what is going on inside their heads from time to time.
Shou is a bit of a philosopher and is always searching for balance in what he does. Every act of kindness means one act of evil, sometimes he will go hungry because he was well fed the day before and so one. People find him strange, and will sometimes avoid him when he gets “preachy”, but he’s also a well known man in the village, and some are whispering that he’ll become the advisor to the leader some day.
Shou enjoys quiet things such as reading, poetry, drinking tea, origami or meditation. He feels that these things brings him closer to his real self, and will take any chance to “disconnect”.

EquipmentClothes.
Chuunin vest, Konoha style.
Belt pouch.
10 kunai, 10 shuriken.
Lots of ninja wire.
Book: The land and people of Iron.
Several kinds of dried leaves that makes good tea.
Weapon: Meteor hammer.
The meteor hammer is an ancient Chinese weapon, consisting at its most basic level of two weights connected by a rope or chain. One of the flexible or 'soft' weapons, it is referred to by many different names worldwide, dependent upon region, construction and intended use. Other names in use include dai chui, flying hammer, or dragon's fist. It belongs to the broader classes of flail and chain weapons.
Using a meteor hammer involves swinging it around the body to build up considerable speed, before releasing the meteor to strike at any angle. Since the meteor has two heads, one could be used offensively, while the other could be used to defend, parrying attacks or ensnaring an opponent's weapon to disarm them. When used by a skilled fighter, its speed, accuracy and unpredictability make it a difficult weapon to defend against. While being swung, a meteor may be wrapped around its user's arms, legs, torso, neck or waist, before being unwrapped by a powerful jerk of the body to deliver a devastating and lightning fast blow. A master is fully capable of striking, ensnaring or strangling from a distance.
Shou’s meteor hammer has a dagger in one end and an iron weight (“hammer”) in the other. The dagger and the hammer both weigh the same. Instead of a chain he has braided ninja wire to a rope. This allows him to easily repair the weapon if it should be damaged (In a worst-case scenario the dagger and weight can be replaced by ordinary kunai). A piece of yellow cloth is tied to the rope about one hands with away from the dagger or hammer to confuse the opponent. He carries the weapon wrapped around his waist as a belt, hammer and dagger hanging on opposite sides so the don’t “clang” together and make noise. The wrapping is strong enough to allow the weapon to stay wrapped during combat, but a tug straight up at either end will unwrap the whole thing.

Ninjutsu:
E-rank.
Name: Kawarimi no jutsu / Substitution technique.
Classification: Ninjutsu.
Rank: E
Effect: With this technique, users replace their own body with some other object, generally with a block of wood, the moment an attack lands. This creates an optical illusion, making the enemy think the attack was successful. From this, the user can use the lapse in the enemy's attention to attack or flee from the battlefield.
Drawback: If not timed properly it has no effect.
Name: Bunshin no jutsu.
Classification: Ninjutsu.
Rank: E.
Effect: Creates one or several perfect clones of the user. The clones lack mass and can therefore not be harmed or do harm in any way.
Drawback: If expected or enemy can sense chakra the clones are useless.
Earth:
Name: Doton: Doroku Gaeshi / Earth Style: Terra Shield.
Classification: Ninjutsu.
Rank: C
Effect: After striking the ground with her hands, the user creates a large wall of earth in front of her. The wall is strong enough to withstand regular attacks, but heavier attacks will break it.
If the user has physical contact with the wall it can be reformed if damaged by pouring chakra into it.
Drawback: Since this technique only guards against frontal attacks, the enemy can easily attack from the side or even from above.
Name: Doton: Doro Domu / Earth Style: Earth Dome.(custom)
Classification: Ninjutsu
Rank: C
Effect: This technique creates a self-repairing dome of earth which is almost instantaneously able to reform if the user keeps physical contact with the dome.
Drawback: Anyone inside is trapped inside. Can be broken with powerful ninjutsu.
Creator’s note: This is the same technique that Jiroubou used in the anime/manga, I have dropped the chakra-stealing and taken it down one rank.
Lightning: (All custom)
Name: Glove zap.
Classification: Ninjutsu.
Rank: C
Effect: The user is able to store a great charge in a metal object on her person (such as the forehead protector, or any metal armor). When this object comes into contact with (or pass close by) something conductive the charge may jump. This technique is powerful enough to cause pain, numbness and severe local burn trauma.
Drawback: Short range.
Name: String zap.
Classification: Ninjutsu.
Rank: C
Effect: The user is able to channel and hold a charge through a conductive object such as ninja wire or other metal weapon. If this object comes into contact with (or pass close by) something conductive the charge may jump. Can be sustained as long as the conductive object is in contact with the user and the target. This technique is powerful enough to cause pain, numbness and severe burn trauma. Sustained exposure will intensify the damage exponentially.
Drawback: If wire/weapon is removed or destroyed the jutsu ends.
Name: Thunder zap.
Classification: Ninjutsu.
Rank: B
Effect: This technique relies on a weapon. The user can store a greater charge in a weapon, effectively turning it into a capacitor with a weak electromagnetic field (slightly more effective while parrying incoming metal projectiles such as kunai and shuriken). As the weapon is used the carge is released all at once. While this technique is still weak in comparison to chidori or Tsunades enhanced stength, it will intensify the damage dealt.
Shou use this technique with his meteor hammer. The dagger is able to punch straight through a person, and the hammer can easily break bones if it hits. It can be used with normal kunai and shuriken as well, but the charge will begin to dissipate as soon as it leaves Shou’s hand.
Drawback: Cannot be used without a weapon.
Taijutsu:
Name: Meteor straight.
Classification: Bukijutsu.
Rank: D
Effect: This technique relies on the meteor hammer.
One of the most basic attacks in the book. Using momentum and her agility the user will launch one end of her weapon against her opponent. The dagger or hammer will travel in a straight line towards the target much like a kunai. This attack can be launched either straight from the hand, behind the shoulder or by having the chain first wrapped around the neck, elbow, knee or foot.
Drawback: This weapon relies on momentum and deception. If it’s not used properly it can easily be foreseen and countered.
Genjutsu:
Not enough chakra control for this.
