“Oh, yes. Sorry” Kathlin responded lightly, and waved a hand in their general direction. The spell abruptly ended, with Vashi and Mei falling a few inches to end up a heap on the floor together. Neither seemed to mind much.

“Right…fine, but I’d sooner not risk her teleports” Liaena muttered as she studied the pair, before throwing the high elf on her shoulder a quick glance. “Could you get us out there, Sharon?”

“Of course…”

Raising a hand that was then wreathed in purple light, the High Elf snapped his fingers and a shimmering portal materialised in the air in front of them. Liaena was quick to jump through without a second thought, the high elf still riding on her shoulder.

“….”

Taking a look at the pair at her feet, Kathlin bent over to pick up the hopelessly tangled Draenei and Night Elf in one hand and forcibly push them at and through the portal. That being done she immediately jumped through herself, as the tear in the world abruptly vanished after her.

*

“LET! GO! OF! ME!”

“Subtle.” Liaena observed as she stared up from the lawn now covered with slush and snow. The source of the racket could not have been more clear, with Malizia clinging onto a Night Elf clinging desperately onto the roof. It was also a clear display for any random person that saw fit to take an interest, either from any of the other large mansions on the street, or the street itself. Kathlin characteristically, looked concerned.

“They’re going to wake up the neighbours”

“My heart bleeds”

That was the very moment that with a nasty ripping sound, the drainpipe the Night Elf was clinging onto came clean off the wall as both started to plummet towards the ground! The fall only lasted a moment however, as a moment later it was arrested for the pair to start gently floating down the height of the house as if falling through quicksand.

“Impressive escape that. She sure showed us”

Liaena shook her head before glancing down at Mei, giving her a slightly nasty smile as she gestured toward the other Draenei. “Think you’ve got enough left to take her down? Or would you prefer us to do the honours?”

“Think you’ve got enough left to take her down? Or would you prefer us to do the honours?”

Sharon offered the bizarre spectacle in front of them a slightly odd gaze as as he studied the squabbling Night Elf and Draenei(that being the sentinel and Malizia, not Mei and Vashi) as they gently floated down towards the ground.

"They'll probably touch the ground in a few seconds. I recommend a long-range solution." Sharon commented as he passed a look over at Mei and Vashi, who still stood close together behind them.
"Not to talk less of your impressive martial skills or anything, but Death Knights are the most dangerous up close. I think the apprentices can deal with this situation before it goes out of hand."

The High Elf explained, throwing Mei a small smile and a nod. However, as he was gazing towards the Draenei warrior, Sharon would also notice a mother and her young child walking past the gate of to the mansion property. The kid, apparently having seen the spectacle going on inside, would begin to jump up and down as he pointed at the Death Knight and Sentinel currently floating through the air from the roof!

"Mommy! Mommy! Look, those weird things are fighting in the sky!" He would exclaim enthusiastically, trying to get his mother's attention.

But the latter did not seem to share the kid's opinion of the situation, as she quickly turned the boy around and began a hurried pace away from the outskirts of the mansion property.

"Don't look at that weird elf's house, Timmy! It is a foul den of sin and debauchery." She instructed her kid as she walked off!

In the meantime, Sharon tried to raise a hand towards the mother, calling out to her.

"Good day to you too, Ms, Marrowstalk!"

The High Elf called out from where he stood on Liaena's shoulder, but was completely ignored by the mother as she walked away with her child, thwarting any attempts from the latter to turn around to get a second glance at the situation!

"NOOOOOOOOOOoooo.... wait, wut?"

Following a brief but intense scream after the drainpipe that she had recently been clinging to was torn off, plunging the Watcher and Malizia into a free fall from the top of the mansion's roof, the expression on the Sentinel's face would eventually change as the speed at which they were falling was drastically reduced.

While at first she had been frightened, the sentinel's face would for a moment become the very manifestation and definition of a big WTF look, as if she could not even comprehend what in the twisting nether had just happened, but she would eventually realize that she was floating, not falling, towards the ground instead!

"Baleisha din(the fuck)!??" The sentinel would utter in Darnassian, as she looked around confused.

At first, she saw the crowd that had gathered on the grounds below, consisting of a couple of humans, the mini-High Elf, as well as Vashi who was together with a mysterious Draenei.

Eventually, however, she would look down and see Malizia floating right below her. Within the blink of an eye, the Watcher's face would turn into that of a furious grimace, as she began to frantically try to hit and punch the Draenei floating below her.

Unfortunately, she was just out of reach of Malizia, which meant that the watcher ended up flailing madly through the air, inches away from Malizia as she floated down, unable to reach the accursed Draenei!

“Hhhhmmmmmmmm...” Mei made a very a sound as she was deep in her thoughts, watching the quite frankly incredible sight of a death knight hanging by a sentinel as both of htem struggled to not fall off the building.” I certainly do have what it takes to beat her again that's for sure..., no way she recovered enough to stop me at this point, but I won't risk it. I'm not armed properly or armored while she is.” The berserker said in a surprising clarity of thought for someone of her profession.

“I do know how dangerous she is... I spend a lot of time fighting out in the north against the lich king and his minions... I've faced numberous of death knights, but usually I was properly armed back then and not to mention my armor is no joke either... Give me a pair of two handed swords and she is as good as minced meat armor or no armor...” Mei said with a nod at the elf mage's statement about using magic to deal with Melizia right now.” Go for it, mister little mage... I don't really care as long as she is truly dead.”

Mei threw a vague curious look at the human woman and her child.” Does this happen a lot?” She asked the elf mage with a raised eyebrow at the way he was treated.” Not that I don't see the mother's point of view...” She added considering what must it look like to the outsiders with how the night elves usually act. Mei herself was used to it and even back when she still had her family, she thought them to respect each culture for what it was. Her older daughter was fascinated with the orcs's old culture...

This was a painful reminder for her. A flood of children's laughs and smiling faces rushed into her mind. She missed them so much still... Each time she closed her eyes, she would dream of them. Children were a such a blessing...

Mei gave a sigh full of reminded pain as her eyes took a dangerous glare to them as the sentinel and the draenei began falling. At the sentinel's useless struggles to reach Melizia and curses, Mei's eye twitched from agitation.” Enough! Mister and Ladies mages please kill her now and let us be over with this...” Mei stated, her fist tightening as she felt the urge to punch the lights out of Melizia.

“You should probably stop that, you know. Violence breaks the cantrip” Kathlin stated as they stared up at the struggling Night Elf and Draenei. Based on her volume and the fact that the pairs attempts to murder each other did not abate even for a moment, it was unlikely they had heard her.

"Not to talk less of your impressive martial skills or anything, but Death Knights are the most dangerous up close. I think the apprentices can deal with this situation before it goes out of hand."

“Well I am an expert in not getting out of hand, after all” Liaena remarked dryly as she produced her dart gun out of a pocket. Checking the other pocket, she found a vial that – after a fleeting glance at the label – was pushed into the holster. Walking forward towards where Malizia was floating slowly down through the air, the girl unceremoniously took aim and fired. A small dart sunk into the neck of the un-helmeted Draenei…given her current fight with the Night Elf, it was probably not even noticed.

“….”

“So what was that supposed to do?” Kathlin asked, after a few seconds in which nothing appeared to happen. Liaena stared up at the duo, an annoyed look crinkling her forehead. “Knock her out. Maybe I mislabelled it?”

Floating down through the air, Malizia shivered slightly as a strange sensation came over her for a moment. Blinking slightly, she shook her head to look back up at the Night Elf. The beautiful Night Elf, with that purpled flush of anger in her cheeks only adding to her charm. A perfectly oval face, a voluptuous body…that young fresh skin…”

-SMUCK-

“MRRRRGHHHH!”

“….”

The two apprentices merely stared up, momentarily speechless as the Draenei lunged forwards to catch the Night Elf and kiss her full on the lips. Judging by the Night Elfs reaction, this was not exactly well received – however the embrace Malizia had her in prevented her from reaching for weapons for the moment. “…you definitely mislabelled it”

“Hrm. Yeah.” Liaena acceded to this. “I wondered where that went”

“Why do you have a love potion?”

“RGGGH!”

“Rithrynn needed a boyfriend. It was a work in progress”

Watching the rather steamy encounter between the suddenly very lovable Death Knight and a rather furious Night Elf Watcher who was only getting angrier and angrier, Sharon would take the time to raise an eyebrow at Liaena at that mention.

"A love potion in order to procure her a boyfriend? That does sound a little bit drastic." Sharon said, as he thought about the potion's potential uses. Indeed, Rithrynn may not have the most eloquent charm, so he might understand the need to give her some drastic "assistance". Although he almost felt a little bit sorry for whatever poor schmuck might become the eventual target of the final product.

The High Elf took a while to just stare at the bizarre situation in front of them, in the form of a Draenei and a Night Elf floating down through the air, involved in a very one-sided kissing match.
Malizia's higher weight class apparently gave her quite the edge of the Night Elf, whom Sharon knew from experience to be quite seasoned warriors themselves.

"I don't think our Death Knight is going anywhere... "

"YOU BI,- MRGGHHH!"
*Smuck*

" ... at least as long as that watcher does not."

Sharon commented with a very analytical look on his face as he studied the situation in front of them with great detail.

"Maybe another potion might be in order. Just do watch your aim." Sharon spoke after a pause, leaning over towards Liaena's ear as he watched the love-filled wrestling match of Malizia and the Sentinel in front of them, which did present a small risk that Liaena might accidentally hit the Night Elf. Then again, her potions usually did not have a harmful effect.

... usually.

"Speaking of Rithrynn, have any of you seen her?"

Casting some concerned places over at the occasional bypassers who were eyeing the situation with wide eyes, Vashi would place a hand on Mei's shoulder as she whispered to her.

"I don't think you should be so violent - especially not out and about in public like this." She whispered quietly to Mei, subtly motioning towards the street outside of the mansion garden.

However, Adrianne would be no less surprised than anybody else when the sudden change of demeanor struck the Death Knight; as the fallen Draenei suddenly embraced the Sentinel with a great hug and kiss. Vashi's mouth would drop when she saw this, throwing a look of surprise between that of Malizia & the Sentinel, and Liaena.

"Luci, I did not know that you... " Vashi was about to say as she looked at the loving & squabbling pair of Death Knight and Sentinel, though managed to hold back what she was about to say to look around at the rest of the party.

Realizing that the situation was getting a lot more steamy in front of them, Vashi would eventually look over to Mei as she motioned towards the front entrance of the house as she grabbed her arm as she attempted to lead her towards it.

"It seems they got the situation under control, but we need to get you fixed! You took a terrible beating that last fight and I do not want to see you develop any terrible gangrene or experience any delayed curses!"

Vashi was saying as she began leading Mei towards the front of the mansion, while throwing the rest of the group in the form of the priestesses & tiny High Elf a quick look.

"I think I saw her last in your study, High Elf... together with the Mistress. Was that the same potion as you just used?"

She asked quizzically as she looked down at Liaena.

Mei watched in utter confusion as the death knight was drugged by a love potion!? What in the twisted nether was going on here? She looked around, noticing how… casual it seemed for the rest of the group.

“Is making people fall in love via potions common in your circles or something?” She asked, considering the fact it also happened back in the mansion with the two night elves. One of which who Mei supposed was the warband’s leader.

“Doesn’t matter really…” Mei replied with a shrug.” I said the truth if any of the people who pass by have a problem with it, they can complain as much as they want… When an enemy needs to die it’s best to not dally it…” She stated, her eyes narrowing.” Leaving enemies to live, will only cause you problems later on. That woman is dangerous and she had given in to the darkness willingly.”

“Huh…?” The draenei warrior made a questioning and confused sound as she was dragged away by the night elf mage to whom she swore loyalty. They already healed her wounds mostly back in the basement…” But my…” She wasn’t given the chance to say it though.

“Miss Vashi… My wounds have been taken care of already. I’m fine and if there are after effects, they will vanish in a few hours tops.” Meirie said as she was pulled back towards the mansion by the night elf mage.” There is no need to be that concerned about me!” Mei pleaded.” My body heals fast due all the training I went through. Once I fix and patch up my clothes it will be like the fight didn’t even happen…”

“Oh, would you like any assistance? I can…”

Kathlin began as she started to walk after Vashi and the protesting Mei, before she received a sharp tug on the sleeve pulling her back. “Er…no. You don’t want to assist with that

“….”

Liaena jerked her head after the departing pair with a slight smirk on her face as she sketched finger quotes around her words. “She’ll make her, ‘comfortable’”

“…Oh”

Kathlin glanced at Mei and Vashi, the latter having lovingly pushed the former almost into the house at this point. “I had the impression Kel’dorei were a lot more xenophobic than this”

“Oh, they are. It’s just, that never seems to matter when there is hotness involved” Liaena said scornfully as she turned back to the more pertinent matter at hand: Malizia and the unfortunate watcher. “Sorry Sharon. You were saying?”

“Mmmmmwrrghh! RRGH! !!!”

“Oh yeah”
The girl stated as she produced her bag, to start poking through it again after a non-love-potion. Kathlin meanwhile, continued to follow the progress of Vashi and Mei curiously. “You think she’s hot?”

“….well, objectively yes. In a tentacle-ally sort of way” Liaena said dubiously as she loaded another vial into her gun. Taking aim more carefully this time, a dart sunk into the Draenei’s neck. The Night Elf, who’s face had gone quite black with rage, fought herself free reasonably easily as Malizia flopped to the ground to start snoring loudly. “You DARE…DIE!! DI-zzzzzzz”

“nice job” Kathlin complimented lightly as the second humanoid hit the floor. Liaena merely shook her head.
“I’m going to run out of drugs again on these idiots”

“….”

“Soo…are we going to try and interrogate this one as well? Preferably before Serphia shows up?” Liaena enquired as she looked over to Sharon with a smile.A moment later, a frown crinkled her brow as a thought struck her. “Where is Serphia, anyway?”

“You shot her”

“I did?”

“Yes. You looked as though you were under an all-sensory illusion” Kathlin remarked. “She didn’t fall unconscious though. Did you use that love potion, do you think?”

“…..maaaybe…” Liaena said slowly as she looked down at the two bottles in her hands, comparing the remaining contents of each. “Where is Rithrynn anyway? She might know”

“…..”

“…..”

“Hmm. Well” Liaena finally said carefully, in a tone of voice that was clearly trying hard not to laugh in the face of two hard stares from Kathlin and Sharon. “I guess that objective was completed. Uh, sort of.”

There was an awkward moment as the group eventually came to realize what had happened to Serphia, and presumably, to Rithrynn as well.

Sharon felt the palm of his hand instinctively try to move towards his face, but managed to resist the urge to face palm at the whole ordeal. Letting out a long sigh, he would eventually speak up, looking at Liaena.

"Substitute boyfriend with potentially hyper-obsessive, power-loving dominatrix girlfriend, and I believe you may have reached your mission goals." He would comment, offhandly considering teleporting back to his office. Though he was not sure if he would even find Rithrynn there anymore.

Still, there was another matter that required his attention.

Looking down at the Draenei Death Knight now lying in the slurry, half-melted snow in front of them, with an equally unconscious Night Elf watcher lying on top of her in turn; using the Death Knight as a big mattress; Sharon would nod.

"We definitely should interrogate her before anything else." Sharon concluded with a thoughtful expression on his face as he analysed Malizia.
"She is bound to have valuable information. Granted, interrogating a Death Knight is not something that I have ever done before. We also have some intruders masquerading as Night Elves in the mansion, whom we should probably deal with as well."

Still, Sharon thought, in all of the chaos that had ensued, there was one thing that had worked out in their favor.

"Thankfully, I think Rithrynn will buy us valuable time by... distracting Serphia. Still, we probably should try to help the girl before she gets too deep into trouble."

”My body heals fast due all the training I went through. Once I fix and patch up my clothes it will be like the fight didn’t even happen… ”

"Oh don´t be silly, miss! Physical exercise does not help your body heal faster. Only proper diet, sleep, divine and transmutation magic can hasten the body´s natural regenerative properties!" Vashi was quick to interject, correcting the Draenei as she "guided" her towards the mansion door.

"I may be no official healer, but through my long studies, I´ve come to learn a bit about everything aswellasincludingthelonglostsecretsandcosmicpowerofthearcane, and additionally enough about physiology to tell you that that is just not... "

"Aaaaahhhhhhhhhh... "

However, as she was rambling away and had just extended her arm to reach out towards the ramshackled mansion door, a loud gasp of sheer delight from what Vashi recognised to be from no one else but Serphia suddenly emanated from one of the windows high above the roof!

...

For a moment, Vashi would not speak at all. Instead, she would simply stare at the door with a raised eyebrow. The momentary confusion would not last long however, as she promptly opened the door and walked in.

" ... as I was saying, or rather, to summarise it all up, you need to be checked. You were hit by a Runeblade. Do you have any idea how dangerous those things are?" Vashi said, but would throw Mei a sly wink as they entered into the main atrium. At this point, the full out melee brawl that had been going on earlier had simmered down...

... somewhat.

That being, the number of fighting Night Elves had been reduced by a large amount. Most of them had either retreated to the side to try to recover or throw off their dizziness, and a lot of them were knocked down on the ground, lying sprawled about in various different poses. In the middle of the room, Lithrielle and Aleena could be seen in a fierce competition with some of the remaining sentinels.

"And don´t mind those two, it´s quite a normal celebration!" Vashi would quickly explain to Mei in reference to Aleena and Lithrielle as she lead the Draenei along the outskirt of the fighting, just as a drunk sentinel wearing a hilariously ill-fitting, half torn ball gown was thrown right past them and into the wall on the opposite side - leaving behind a solid elf-mark in the wall.

"And I think they might be almost done!"

“But I’ve been fine with my natural healing a lot so far…” Mei protested as she was pulled after the mage girl who showed surprising strength of arm for someone of her vocation… well she was a night elf so physical strength wasn’t normally a surprise. So even mages of that exotic( really wild) race were very strong.

That said while she was trying to protest a cry of pleasure by female voice rang through the area… Meirie by instinct looked up at the source of the noise… Someone was having fun up there… A flash of memory ran through her mind, remembering the night elf who gave her the sword earlier… this mage referred to her as captain… Well she was the one hit by the love potion earlier right?

After the initial surprise on the side of the night elf mage, Mei was quickly pulled after her into the mansion again. This girl for some reason just didn’t want to leave this alone and while Mei felt flattered, it should have been the other way around… She should be the one taking care of Vashi.

“Yes… I’ve been struck by runeblades a few times in the past…” She replied, as a brief memory of distant battle in the frozen north flashed before her eyes, but she didn’t get into details as the drunken night elf flew past them and into the wall.

“Alright… miss Vashi, let it happen like you want it to.” She finally gave in and agreed to let Vashi do whatever she wanted.” Just lets move away before we get dragged into the brawl… I cannot protect you from stray punches without hurting anyone in the present…” She pleaded, moving to stand in between the mage and the place where the drunken brawl was taking place.

She vaguely wondered now why the mage seemed just a tad bit distanced from the others… all other night elves she saw so far were either having a friendly drunken brawl, or were teaming up against the death knight. Vashi was ordered around without any consideration… Was this because of the magic she harbored? She knew the opinion of the night elves about arcane magic… so she concluded that was most likely the case.

“There must be a more quiet area somewhere at the back of the mansion…” She said, looking down at one corridor leading towards the back where the back entrances were.

"Thankfully, I think Rithrynn will buy us valuable time by... distracting Serphia. Still, we probably should try to help the girl before she gets too deep into trouble."

“….ehh…yeah…” Liaena mumbled finally, pushing her hair away from her forehead in a facepalm of her own as she looked towards the house. It was a sign of how flummoxed the girl was by the situation that she did not even attempt to pick up the obvious joke at Rithrynn’s expense.

“I assume you mean ‘deep’ literally”

“Yes, yes, he did mean that” Liaena muttered to Kathlin as she turned her attention back to the unconscious Draenei lying at their feet. “Okay. You’re right, we should at least try and interrogate this bitch before we go get Rithrynn back. Help me get her inside, Kitty”

“Uh, sure”

“Okay” Liaena nodded as the Draenei started to float towards the house, walking beside her as she mentally ran through the bad-guy checklist in her head. “There were some other intruders, a high elf –“

“He got sat on”

“—fine, we’ll dig him out later. Other than that, we had a load of randoms I’m guessing the Night Elves beat up, and some girl Kitty decided to mother. She’ll still be running around the house, I’m guessing” Liaena said thoughtfully, before looking over at Kathlin. “You should go find her, and bring her over. She’ll be a good witness”

“…I rather doubt they told her anything noteworthy, but sure” Kathlin said dubiously as they walked in through the rug. Predictably, Mei and Vashi were nowhere to be seen. Glancing around, Kathlin hesitated before looking back at Liaena who was giving her an expectant look. “…You want me to go get her now?”

“Well she’s only going to stumble into a room full of tigers or Serphia, and I’m not sure which is worse. I’m not completely heartless” Liaena sniffed. “Somebody should probably look after her. Light knows her own team isn’t”

“....right”

“…..”

“You’re trying to get rid of me while you do something morally questionable with that Death Knight, aren’t you?”

“…..”

“No! Of course not! We’ll wait for you, if you really want to sit in on this” Liaena exclaimed in a tone of wounded innocence in the face of Kathlin’s stare. “I mean, I was just thinking of that girl….she is going to get eaten by a tiger you know, that bit’s true”

“….yes, okay. I’m going” Kathlin said wearily as she turned towards the stairs. “….you know technically speaking, I need to write a report on this assignment. That’ll make interesting reading”

“Well, I’ll proof read. And censor.” Liaena called back as the other girl’s footsteps grew fainter till they could not longer be heard over the snoring of the Night Elf in half a ball gown. “…Okay fine. Let’s get this one into the cellar before any remotely sober Night Elves show up.”

The girl was already moving as she spoke, Malizia floating behind her as she moved towards one of the side corridors where she knew there was a servant staircase into the cellars. “Also, Death Knights. Any idea which buttons to press?”

"Hard to say without knowing the person, not that I'd suggest Death Knights are known for their diverse and colorful personalities. At least in anything other than their favorite atrocities and torture styles." Sharon would reply from Liaena's shoulder as the High Elf cast a thoughtful gaze behind them at the large, hovering body of the Draenei.

A Draenei that was still much larger and bigger than either of the two, utterly dwarfing Liaena and absolutely massive compared to the smaller High Elf.

"We're going to need a lot of rope."

A single bodyslam from her would probably be enough to put both Liaena and Sharon out of the game, and that was without even taking into account the fact that she was also in possession of dark and terrible magic!

Restraining the Death Knight would be half of the job, Sharon suspected. He had no intention of letting the Death Knight run loose in her cell, especially with Liaena around. And him. Nothing good could ever come out of it, as he had no intention of ever underestimating his opponent.

Such a mistake had cost his entire race, nay; the entirety of the northern kingdoms dearly!

"To begin with, I'd suggest pretending to know more than we actually do, and thus lure her to potentially leak more knowledge. Other than that, I know that Death Knights tend to be pretty high up in the hierarchy usually, in both the Scourge, and presumably; any other organization that would want their service. Therefore, we should try to play on her ego. The more we can get her riled up, the easier this should be. Provided she is tied down properly."

As they walked through the mansion, stepping over drunk-half Night Elves in various different poses and figures on the floor(and some even along the walls), as well as in various states of consciousness, the High Elf magi could not help but grimace at the sight of his own house. The first floor was truly in a state of disrepair at this point, a large number of the furniture either broken or lost(and presumably broken), one wall even had an elf-shaped hole in it, wine-stains covered the wall paintings, and at least half a dozen of elven arrows stuck in random walls.

"Invite the warband they said, it'll be fun they said... and expensive!"

"Seeing as we don't have any of the elves with us, I don't think the intimidation route is going to work. We're going to have to play this one smart. Ideally, this would be best if we could conduct multiple interrogations all at once."

Pausing in his long thoughts, the High Elf would lean back as he looked up at Liaena, now with a smile on his face as he eyed the girl.

"You and that Kathlin girl, you make quite the team together, don't you?" He would comment with an almost amused look on his face as he studied Liaena's reaction.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stalking the upper levels of the mansion would be Silje, the girl having successfully managed to flee the utter chaos that reigned in the lower levels of the mansion.

However, she had also been separated from the two other human girls of Liaena and Kathlin, the latter who appeared to be the only source of semi-sanity in the whole house. Cursing her luck, Silje knew that she would never again in her entire life ever sign herself off to a mysterious organization ever again, no matter how much of her student loan they had promised to pay in return!

Such a thing was what had gotten her into this terrible situation in the first place! She would rather have taken two jobs than suffer a single day of this madness!

However, as she went from room to room, trying to find a suitable window from which she could climb down from and thus avoiding the chaos below; opening one of the doors; the sight she saw on the other side would cause the girl to suddenly stop and freeze just where she stood, her jaw dropping!

Staring into the room, she saw the terrifying visage of the crazy elven Captain who had chased her earlier! ... minus her clothes, though it did not seem to bother the elf, who looked surprisingly happy. And there was a smaller Night Elf too. And by the light, what was she doing to that little elf?!

Silje simply remained frozen on the spot in the half open door, her eyes glued to the scene inside the room with a mix of pure, unadulterated terror and sheer, overwhelming confusion!

... and perhaps a bit of curiosity.

"Don´t pay them no mind, I think the final conclusion is just about to... "

As Vashi was talking, the gentle whisper of one of the Sentinels soaring through the air could be heard in the room, before the aforementioned sentinel crashed violently into a piece of furniture, shattering it to pieces as she was knocked out cold!

" ... finish. There, I think that was the last of them." Vashi would mention as she threw a quick glance around the room to look at all of the unconscious bodies of Night Elves lying about, with Lithrielle and Aleena seeming to be the last remaining standing, and currently in the process of doing something akin to a victory dance as all of the available opponents were either down, had fled, or were drunk beyond contention.

"I think I know a place, down in the cellars. It´s more quiet down there, and I don´t think any of my sisters will be venturing around down there as it is a little bit more cold than the rest of the house." Vashi explained as she dragged Mei along with her as she ventured towards a set of stairs and continued down into the lower levels of the mansion, underground.

"Occasionally I see that weird human friend of Rithrynn, Liaena I think her name was, stalking these corridors. I don´t really know her well, but I think, judging from her behavior, that she has at least one secret lab or workshop hidden around here somewhere!" Vashi explained as they walked into the darker and gloomier corridors of the cellar.

"Not that I´d ever gone looking for it or anything! Goddess knows, a person´s secret laboratory is a private thing! Unfortunately not a sentiment my sisters ever really shared... especially the old Lieutenant, Falere."

*

"It´s just you... and me now, Syn´Dial. Oh how this all came as a surprise to me." Serphia said with a sly wink as she gazed down at the tiny Night Elf on the bed table in front of her.

The Captain was practically bare, having ever so effortlessly removed her rather minimalistic uniform so to give her (unwilling) ´lover´ a full view of her bodice. Rithrynn on the other hand, being shrunk, was completely dwarfed by the 8ft tall Captain´s own body.

"That´s because you´re drugged! This isn´t your normal self, mistress!" Rithrynn called out pleadingly, as the tiny elf would turn around and try to make a run for it.

Yet Rithrynn did not make it very far before a purple hand would swoop down and snatch her up; the Captain, although she was in a great love haze; had not lost any of her precision apparently. Squirming around as she was brought up to Serphia´s smiling face, the Captain would poke her ever so playfully, causing the tiny elf to swing back and forth.

"Oh Syn´dial, you are so adorable when you´re shy... there´s no point trying to deny your feelings." Serphia would say with a rather seductive tone as she gently held Rithrynn against her cheek, before beginning to lean forward as she brought the tiny elf in her hand behind her back.

As she was brought around to the back of her Captain who was now leaning against the table, Rithrynn was squirming around as she now got a first class view of Serphia´s very large, very bubbly butt as she came around, and which finally took up the majority of the tiny elf´s view! Calling out, Rithrynn tried to reach her Captain!

"No, mistress! Trust me! All you need is an antitode, and you´d never,. ! ... wait, who?"

In her defiant wriggling, Rithrynn would have turned around to see someone standing in the doorway to the room, the door now half open. She quickly recognised the smaller female as a human, though the face was not familiar! Looking stunned for a moment and raising an eyebrow in confusion at the newcomer, reality and her own predicament would quickly snap back to Rithrynn as she began to wriggle once more as she called out to the newcomer in an urgent voice!

"Whoever you are, please get Li! Tell her that we need an antitode right aw,-"

"This is going to be a looooong night, sweeties... "

" ... "

Rithrynn simply looked stunned as she heard the sultry voice of Serphia, before the tiny Sentinel could barely managed to let out a quick yelp as she was thrust backwards, and right in between the big, purple butt of a rather excited looking white haired Serphia, who let out a subsequent gasp of joy as the tiny figure of Rithrynn disappeared right up her rear!

"You and that Kathlin girl, you make quite the team together, don't you?"

“…I don’t know why the elves brought her back here, she’s not a fighter. And she’s nearly got herself killed once already, getting mixed up in this” Liaena said in a deeply unenthused tone. The girl slid open a door, to enter one of the servant staircases leading down. Here at least, there were no night elves.

“I’ll get rid of her later”

The girl glanced behind her at the large Draenei floating behind them down the stairs. The stairwell was only barely large enough for her to fit through, with the result that her body was getting a fair amount of buffeting and scraping as it squeezed after them. “Oh, I think I can deal with containment issues. I’ve already tested this on her”

Drawing a small vial of the shrinking potion out of her pocket, Liaena waggled it at the small elf on her shoulder to illustrate her point as she reached the bottom of the stairs. Having entered onto quite a dingy corridor lined with doors, with the very audible sounds of Miz Collins banging away on pots and pans in the distance, Liaena started to open doors in turn to peer in for suitable spots for an interrogation session. “Wow. You might need to restock these, Sharon”

What “this” was soon became apparent as the girl entered into a stockroom quite literally littered with empty jam-jars, many with the preserve they had once contained still clinging forlornly to the edges. It was unclear whether some Night Elf had a severe sweet tooth, the elves had decided to have a jam-fight upstairs or Naliyah had discovered it made everything much more fun - in any case, the place had been stripped bare.

Crossing over to the other side of the room, Liaena allowed Malizia to fall unceremoniously to the floor as she deposited Sharon gently on one of the empty shelves, before perching on a lower one beside him. Removing another potion out of her bag, she placed that one on the shelf next to him before falling to the very important task of starting to carefully puncture holes in the lid of a jam jar she had picked up off the floor with a penknife. “It’s the antidote. Take it. I don’t want to mislay you down here”

“Hello?”

Kathlin poked her head into yet another empty living room, before withdrawing it with a sigh. “Girl-whose-name-I-cannot-recall? Are you still here? It’s safe…ish”

….

“Li, your house is huge”

"Whoever you are, please get Li! Tell her that we need an antitode right aw,-"

“Eeek!”

Turning quickly at the cries from just down the corridor, Kathlin sped up her ambling pace to a quick walk as she turned a corner to behold Silje, who was holding up a trembling finger as she gawped at the contents of the bedroom. “T-the elf…she disappeared…”
Reaching the smaller girl, Kathlin looked into the bedroom to eye the thing Silje was transfixed with horror by. “….Noooo, I don’t think she has, I’m afraid”

“No! The other one!” Silje stammered. “She told me to go and get a Lee. What’s a Lee?”

“Ah, well, it’s….”

Kathlin trailed off as she studied the Night Elf in the room’s behaviour. If Serphia had noticed the fact she was under observation, she had shown no indication of caring. “…that cannot be good for her back”

“W-w-what?”

“Ohh…nothing. Come on then, we’ll go find a Li” Kathlin said finally as she picked up Silje’s hand, tugging the girl with her as she turned to walk back down the corridor. The girl followed extremely willingly rather than be abandoned, although not without many nervous glances behind them. “…w-what were they doing!?”

“Would you like me to explain?”

“…No.”

“However you wish, miss Vashi...” Mei had given up on trying to argue already and was simply following the night elf mage. The very idea of an arcane wielding night elf seemed absurd at first. Mei herself had spend some time at the lands of the night elves years ago when the relationships between their two nations were forming so she got a chance to study their libraries and ancient texts... at least withing the allowed range without trying to read secret documents and the like. What she did learn was that night elves abandoned anything arcane related thousands of years ago... why this night elf used magic like this was quite the mystery for the draenei warrior.

“Will not be surprised... “ Meirie added at the statement of possible secret laboratories down in the basement somewhere. It was the perfect place for it really, underground so the noise from it would be deafened, no flashes of light to alert the surroundings and very well protected in case... something blows up.

“Don't worry miss Vashi... from now on I will protect you and your things. If someone wants to take something or touch something, I will give them a stern scolding.” She said with a smile, wondering exactly how big was the basement of this mansion. She knew that they were big for she had entered one of the other estates before for work. Had to clean a basement from some hostile beasts... how they ended there she did not ask for the pay was good back then.

“Miss... I've been meaning to ask, but how did you end in a night elven warband?” The warrior asked eventually.” I mean a woman with your abilities would surely have other prospects?”

“Wow. You might need to restock these, Sharon”

A low but still very noticeable mental groan could almost be felt emanating from the smaller High Elf on Liaena's shoulder as she entered into the (now posthumously) room o jam.

Sharon said nothing, but merely gazed at the rows upon rows of empty or missing bottles of jam, half of which lay scattered across the floor in an unceremonious fashion. Indeed, the Night Elves had apparently not afforded even the jam any more mercy than they had the wine storage by the looks of it! The mage could only dread the number at the end of the bill once everything had been refilled.

Perhaps it might even be better just to let Friedrick burn said bill before he could even see it.

“It’s the antidote. Take it. I don’t want to mislay you down here”

"I think there are worse places you could mislay me. And you don't have to leave the house to find them." Sharon said half-jokingly, half concerned as he threw a quick glance around before he accepted the potion.

Moments later, he would stand back at his full, very-much-so normal and not-pocket-sized stature. Taking a moment to tidy up his deep azure blue robe and adjust the mithril chestplate under it so that it sat properly, the blond haired High Elf would step over to where Liaena was working not far from the unconscious body of the large Death Knight. As he came close enough, he would extend his staff wielding arm and a bit of his cloak as well as he wrapped it around Liaena as she was working, before speaking as he looked towards her.

"I think you did really well today, Liaena. My brother has made this life anything but easy... no matter how much you may make it seem the exact opposite sometimes. I really appreciate having you by my side, Liaena." He smiled, simply taking a moment where he simply looked at her.

That attention however would be broken by a low groan emanating from the now half-sleeping Draenei as she shuffled somewhat around on the floor, slowly recovering from her sleep.

Casting a look between Liaena and Malizia, Sharon would reach into his arcane pouch hanging at his side with his other hand to produce a pair of handcuffs made out of Thorium, with some mystical magical runes written into them.

"I got some anti-mage cuffs that could prevent her from casting any spells... " Sharon explained as he held them up in front of Liaena with a slight grin, before suffering the inevitably stare that any man outside of law enforcement would receive when casually revealing himself to be carrying handcuffs.
"You never know when they might come in handy... totally not a souvenir from my academy time in Dalaran, no... "

...

"Anyhow!" Brushing past the awkward silence, he'd look back at Liaena.
"They would block her spells, but I don't think you'd be able to shrink them. So we are going to have to make a choice, whether we want to contend with a shackled 8ft tall martial monstrosity of death - literally -, or a shrunk adept student of some of the darkest magic known to mortals and deities alike."

Nodding, he'd gaze slightly away.

"Just like... whichever option you'd feel the most comfortable with."

"Ohhh, that's a long story... " Vashi replied, gently bobbing with her head as she walked, staff in hand.

"Or, now that I think of it, it's not actually a very long story. It's actually rather straight forward, mind you." She suddenly contemplated, scratching her chin with a thinking look on her face as she gazed out into the empty air above them.

"It's actually more like that the military tribunal finally realized, after almost ten thousand years, that maaaaaaayybeee magic could actually be a good thing when it came to guarding the balance of the world, which is the divinely appointed charge of the Keldorei given to them by the Moon Goddess Elune herself. Now, we do have Druids, some of whom are REALLLYYY powerful(and old, that's a thing about us that you'll learn), but they just don't quite pack the 'oompfh!' as does an order of trained battle mages. So, because the tribunal realized that we couldn't just sit on the defensive all the time if we wanted to restore order to the world, they managed; although they had a hard time getting their bigot heads out of their uptight butts; to accept the use of arcane magic in a limited form."

During her little speech, Vashi had gotten a little riled up and spoke with great enthusiasm, but also a little bit of sarcasm. Finally finished, she let out a small sigh, before looking over at Mei with somewhat of a bemused smile.

"So that's that, it really makes you think that it wasn't until the very balance of the world was threatened that they finally allowed us to practice magic, and we're still on probation in all but name!" Vashi couldn't help but frown a little bit at the end of her sentence, rolling her eyes to the side for a moment before looking back at Mei.

"Like I said, it's an elf thing that not many outsiders really understand. To put it into perspective, imagine that you accidentally set fire to the kitchen one day. Except that your parents were also near immortal and with an immaculate memory for grudges and bad things in general! And so thereafter, even on your 8346th birthday, they'll still remind you about that little incident, and not let you near the oven! That's pretty much how magic works in our culture."

"Just like... whichever option you'd feel the most comfortable with."

“…Nngh. Maybe Serphia does have her uses” Liaena mumbled finally as she stared at Malizia, pondering the dilemma in her head. “Okay. Okay, use the cuffs. We have a house of Night Elves, and she’s disarmed. We only have one counterspeller, and I’m not bringing her in here”

The High Elf nodded, before crouching over to bend the Draenei’s arms behind her and fit the cuffs on. Liaena watched silently, before clearing her throat slightly to voice what was weighing on her mind. “Maybe Rithrynn’s better off out of it for a while”

“What?”

Sharon turned slightly, to give her a quizzical look. Liaena sagged slightly, to sit down quite heavily on one of the upturned crates in the room looking very tired all of a sudden.

“She was with Sherpa the night before last. Remember? And I don’t think she was under any sort of spell, or drug. She seemed…lucid, when I spoke to her about it. Relatively speaking”

The girl studied the floor as she spoke, with a carefully composed touch to her voice. “I don’t understand what he’s done, or offered her, but she seems to be under the impression he is misunderstood, and cares for her. Which is a problem, because Rithrynn is a moron that is easily manipulated. While this brainless, careless, nonsense is going on….I don’t think that we can trust her”

By the end of her speech, the girl’s composure was slightly rocked by the bite in her final words. Glaring a hole in the stone floor, Liaena became aware that Sharon was giving her a look of concern. “You would rather leave her…?”

“…No, no…I’ll get her out of Serphia. Literally. I owe her that much, at least” Liaena said flatly.

“I’ll make sure she doesn’t do any damage while this thing with Sherpa is ongoing. And after that…I suppose she’ll be leaving with Serphia’s lot anyway, which makes life easier.”

Glancing up, Liaena finally met Sharon’s eyes to give him an only slightly forced smile. “Anyway, not really the priority right now. Shall I wake up that Death Knight?”
