(Sabrina? XD lol it's Serenity) Serenity listened and watched as everyone spoke their turn. Their personalities weren't what she expected at all, but that was okay with her. Humans were just that way though. She wondered if anyone else was an alien. Maybe Jezebell? Serenity wasn't sure but she knew most of the Titans were human. It could be possible then that none of them had ever heard of her species. Phew..

Jezebel was in her own world. Listening as everyone introduced themselves and metally remembering them. But, she then was called out by Armelia and was asked for her name. She must've been dazed out when it was asked. "Sorry, I'm Jezebel." She said to Amelia with a small smile and she even threw in a small wave.

Dominick left his house with a small Tupperware of soup his mother made. It was a nice chat, though one that always made Dominick feel a bit sad inside. Still no sign of his eldest sister, though that didn't really surprise him. He just sort of had hoped that maybe his sister could have made an appearance. Oh well. As usual Dominick didn't feel like heading to work, but he didn't really have any plans today aside from visiting that robot fair, and that wouldn't be until much, much later. He decided that he'd at least go out for a walk around the city, protect his turf and see if there's anything worth getting himself into.

John smirked and shook his head. Armelia was becoming Madame Leader. John crossed his arms and leaned on the pillar, looking at the new recruits. They all seemed Titan material. He was interested in the kid who could control shadows. He'd never met someone with the exact opposite of his powers. All in all, he was excited to see how the recruits did on their first mission, even if he didn't show it. All in all, they seemed like they'd do well.

"I'm Alexia Winter, I can control and create snow. I'm so sorry I'm late my plane was delayed." Alexia explained her face red with embarrassment.

Jump City- Outskirts

Monday started off as just a regular day for the public works demolition experts. The local government had recently passed a new bill permitting a long overdue expansion for their crowded little city to make more room for the ever increasing population.

But before you could create, you had to destroy.

The area they were currently working in was something of an Old District, unused and unlived in except for vagrants and strays. These buildings were old and had recently taken a toll from an earthquake, many predictably collapsing in on themselves since they had not been up to code. It was their job to tear down these old buildings the rest of the way and rip out their foundation to make room for new industries and roads to be built. An easy enough task, routine even.

Unfortunately, the earthquake had shaken up more than just the foundations. Deep in the earth, below the clumsily erected buildings of a comparatively primitive civilization, a different kind of structure was beginning to stir. One that ran off natural energy, including the geothermal kind generated by shifting tectonic plates. Over the last week, the noise and vibrations of the demolition happening above were beginning to creep into its awareness, like a restless sleeper ready to awaken.

"'Ey, Jack! There's something buried here!" an excavator operator called out to his foreman. He had been scooping out the dirt and rubble to clear out a space for the soon to be basement of a multi-story parking structure when suddenly his bucket had caught against something with a distinctly metallic clang. He figured it might be a pipe of some sort (it wouldn't be the first time he accidentally punctured something on the job,) so he decided to wait for further instruction before digging any deeper.

A murmur went through the crew like a wave and they quickly consulted their blueprints and maps, trying to figure out what it might be.

"There are no active pipelines in this area," the foreman called back with a wave of his arm. "Just keep diggin' around it and we'll fish out whatever it is."

Somehow, this didn't reassure the operator much. He shook off the uneasy feeling and kept digging, pausing to readjust his bucket whenever he heard a clang. He must have rotated that thing 360 degrees trying to get around whatever this blockage was, but after he had gotten a few meters deeper he quickly realized that this was no pipe. The mounds rising out of the soil were caked in dirt, but had a distinctly humanoid shape.

Perhaps it was a massive sculpture of some kind? He communicated this to the foreman who, again, told him to keep digging. And so he did, and as he did, the jostling began to dislodge some of the dirt covering the structure, unveiling a rustic bronze surface and dusty blue panels that caught the afternoon light and seemed to shine. To the operator, at least.

Little did he know those panels literally were catching that light and converting it into solar energy. The shining wasn't a trick of the eye either, they were actually beginning to glow and flicker. With a metallic screech, the entire structure gave a sudden lurch and the operator paused again to adjust his bucket, thinking he had accidentally struck it again. Before he could dip his machine back into the dirt a massive hand-like thing burst out of the dirt and abruptly grabbed onto his bucket, stopping it in its tracks.

"Holy shit!" the operator yelped and scrambled for the door, flinging himself out of the house before the entire excavator was toppled onto its side. He witnessed in mute horror as the monster he had inadvertently unleashed swung his machine above its head like a lasso and sent it flying across the construction site, sending the other workers scattering like tiny screaming ants. Faintly, he could hear his foreman frantically calling the police on the radio, but it sounded so much farther away as he watched the massive structure pull itself out of the dirt and clamber to its full height.

That's as big as my house, was the operator's last thought, before the shining blue panel turned towards him and glowed a deep red.
It took half an hour for the police to mobilize, but by the time they arrived on the site most of the damage had already been done. The workers that could escape had already long since fled, and the ones that hadn't been quick enough- well. Let's just say they looked like roadkill. The threat that they had been called in to neutralize had already retreated back into the hole it had been found in and was pacing the perimeter of it, like a guard dog.

The chief of police took one look around him at the carnage and destruction. Toppled construction machines, two to three times the size of their measly little police cars. Crushed bodies, their hard hats completely caved in. The bullet proof vest he was wearing didn't feel so secure anymore.

A metallic ping jolted him out of his survey of the area. Someone, he didn't know who, had pulled out their pistol and taken a shot at the thing while its back was turned. Above the lip of the hole, what he presumed to be the creature's head quickly swiveled to face them. The shining beacon of its face shifted from a light blue to a glaring red, the luminescence spilling across the ground like blood.

Quickly, the rest of the force pulled out their guns and began firing, but the bullets weren't doing much beyond scraping the dirt off the monstrous thing. Its massive hands gripped the edge of the hole and it slowly pulled itself over the edge, lumbering towards them at a steady, but terrifying pace.

Hands trembling, the chief of police leaned into his car and picked up the radio.

"We need backup."

"Now now... What's up here?" Dominick had been wondering around the city when he caught wind of some construction going on. Big explosions and what not. Seemed like something interesting, but than things got... Hairy. The construction workers were quick to evacuate the area and made sure no civilians got caught up, including Dominick. It worked, at first, but all he needed to do was hope into a porta-potty and presto, Dominick became Dark Matter.

Sneaking past the construction crew, or what was left of it, the scene of ghastly. Dead bodies everywhere. "Did they dig up falmer or something?" Bodies smeared on the walls and floor like they were crayons. If Dominick wasn't in his Dark Matter form he'd vomit, but he continued onwards. Suddenly, gunshots, and Dark matter followed the noise. Curiosity was going to kill the cat, but if he had his way, he would be it's murderer.

"Thanks for coming in, have a nice day ma'am!" A large man with pale blond hair said as he waved goodbye to his latest customer from behind the coffee shop counter. "Hey Jacque, something's up with the frothing function for the cappuccino machine, you mind taking a look at it?", The blond man -henceforth known as Jacque- turned towards the source of the voice, his manager, a wiry haired twenty-something man, "Sure thing Ramón, you mind manning the register while I do it?", "You got it man.". Jacque walked over to the machine and began to inspect the machine for damage, finding nothing wrong until he finally eyed the culprit; the nozzle was coated in crusted over liquid, a sign that he coworkers weren't cleaning the damned thing after each use. Jacque rolled his eyes and chuckled as he wiped away the remnants of past drinks, "There you go Ramón, it's "fixed". You might wanna take a closer look next time m-", he was cut off by a buzzing in his back pocket.

The young man whipped out his phone and turned away from the front, couldn't let people see him screwing around after all. Tapping the screen a few times, Jacque was met with a message from 'Uncle B.', reading as such: 'Hey Jacque, I need you to pick up my prescription from the pharmacy. The same medicine as always. I've already told the pharmacists that you'd stop by in two hours, don't be late.'. Jacque sighed and locked his phone knowing full well what the message really meant, 'That venom addiction is going to catch up to you one day Bane.' he mused as he put away his phone and turned to Ramón, starting with the same thing he always said when this happened, "Hey, i'm really sorry but..." Ramón turned to Jacque and held up a hand, "Save it, just go on ahead man. I was going to call in Anna today anyway." he said. Jacque started taking off his apron, "Thanks Ramón, I owe you for this!", "Yeah yeah, y'know if it wasn't for the fact that you put in a lot of over time i'd fire you" "And the fact that I hooked you up with that cute girl from the bike shop across the street meant nothing, right?" Jacque said before ducking behind the 'employees' only door just before his manager could retort. Once clocked out, Jacque slipped out of the cafe and jogged to his car, stopping to pull a bag from the trunk before getting in and taking off. His time working as 'Jacque' was done for the day, now, it was time for 'Titan' to earn his keep.

Armelia stood up from her chair. "Right. John. You know better." She said rolling her eyes ar him, being all playfully and shit. So she made her way to the dormitories, motioning the titans to follow her. There was a hallway and there, the rooms were. "To the right is the boys room. And to the left the girls." It was a long hall and it had alot of doors, which it contained each of the Titan's bedroom. "My room is with the pink door over there. Soo! Go on. Choose." And suddenly an Alarm went off!

"Crap...!" She said running towards the big monitor television as it showed the problem. "Alright. Titans were gonna have to skip the tour for now! We have a mission to do." And with that she put on her costume and looked at the Titans. "Let's go! Its very close by." She waited for them. Armelia wanted to see how the newbies would turn out!

John followed the tour, smirking nonchalantly at Armelia. But when the alarm went off John was all business. John ran into his room and quickly changed into a white and black outfit with a large , blue, glowing circle in the middle. John had made the costume himself. The circle helped him focus his powers a bit better, gave off light, and gave him extra energy for big fights.. He ran to the T.V. and looked down at what the helicopters were seeing. There was a giant metal robot engaged in combat with the cops. Well the cops were shooting. The robot was just chilling. "Damn. That thing is fucking huge," John said, shaking his head. He pressed a button and a window slid open. He then motioned with his hand and blue light flew to the general are in front of his hand from the circle in his suit. There the light formed a flat surface that hovered above the ground. It could easily fit all of the team but John hoped he wouldn't have to take that many people. "Anyone who can't fly, hop on," he said as he got onto the light ship, which proved to be solid.

Sam heard that there was a problem, so he summoned his shadow bird again and flew behind the others. "This might be difficult." he said when he saw the giant robot. He chuckled and summoned darkness, the entire area of the construction site and a bit of the surrounding area was basked in darkness. He made it so that his allies weren't blind. His eyes went wide and his pupils shrunk as the insanity crept into him. He chuckled and leaped off the bird, desummoning it. He began creeping around the robot with his shadow sword out in a circle, waiting for his team to start the fight.

Serenity flew side by side with the other Titans. As they arrived at the scene she saw a gigantic blob of what seemed like metal. What in the world? She thought dazed. Right away the boy named Sam blinded the area with darkness but allowed her eyes to see. Following after him she created a large force field surrounding the whole area. Her eyes already glowing pure white, hopefully it didn't freak the other Tirans out. It was just a side effect of her powers. She waited in the background, still flying, to see if anyone needed her healing. She was there if they did.

Alexia flew with them her white snow wings spread to keep her self from falling. She landed on the ground as they melted. Her outfit has taken on a white dusting along with her black hair. She crouched in the shadows and looked around trying to see what had caused the alarm to go off. Around her feet a small pile of snow built itself up.

Jezebel had walked with the others and she had peeked into one of the rooms. It was pretty dark and she liked it. She didn't have any time to check out any of the other rooms when an alarm went off. She felt her heart beat speed up. Her first mission! She was so excited! Even though she did not show it. She followed the other Titans as they prepared to leave. She reached into her backpack and pulled out a drawing of her with black wings. "This will work." She mumbled to herself.

She then blew purple mist on it and it became real. She then kept her backpack in her hands and then flew after the others. When she got there the guy, Sam, had made the area dark except she could see perfectly. He must've done that with the others, so we could see. She flew high in the air so she had a good view on the giant.....creature. She then reached into the small hidden pocket of her skirt and she took out a drawing of her with a lava sword. One of her earlier drawings. After making it real she twirled the sword in her hand, keeping an eye on the creature. Her eyes scanning all over it, looking for any places where she could attack it and injure it.

Any weak spots.

John steered the light ship over the city, following the others. He saw some giant black dome that covered an area. Probably the construction site from T.V. John flew through the dome and saw everyone else. He dropped the others off and used his powers to have a sword of light materialize in his hand. John watched as a robot like thing paced in a giant hole. "What in the hell is that thing?" he asked no one in particular.

"Don't know all I know is it looks weird..." Alexia said as a mini snow leopard formed from the snow at her feet. "Scout that hole." She mumbled to the little snow animal which ran off to search the hole and the robot.

Serenity shrugged her shoulders "It sure is huge though..." She shivered at the size of it. "I wonder how strong that thing could be. I don't think my super strength stands a chance at that.." A smile spread on her lips when Alexia sent a snow animal to the robot "It's so cute!" She laughed softly then shook her head. Now wasn't the time to laugh. She had to focus. Again she took a look at the huge monster, trying to figure out what it was. When suddenly a white aura covered the creature's body. In a flash she read his abilities and powers, once glad for that gift.

"Yes!" She couldn't help herself and cheered out loud but quickly covered her mouth. "Guys I know what that thing can do."

Armelia arrived at the fighting scene, now seeing what was a big robot thing. She turned to Serenity. "Okaaaay. What's its powers?" She asked raising an eyebrow as, her eyes now turned white and the sky started to turn greyand clouds swirling around, also thunder could be heard. She wasn't going to attack, first she hear what Serenity had to say.

The police managed to hold off as long as they could, but their efforts at slowing the robot's advance would have been as effective as trying to move a mountain for all the good they did. Still, the Chief of police had just enough time to communicate the situation to the dispatcher, right before his police car was turned onto its side and the signal cut off.

Back in the station, the dispatcher stared at her phone wide-eyed and pale, the sounds of gunshots and shouting still ringing in her ears. Her thoughts raced as she tried to think of which department to call, what kind of force would be needed to deal with a threat like this. Her eyes slid across the room restlessly and landed on a poster on the wall of a tower on an island, shaped like a letter T-

And that's when she knew exactly who to call.
Back-up arrived, but a little too late. By the time the newly appointed Teen Titans arrived, there wasn't anyone left to assist. The cop cars were strewn across the construction site like discarded toys. The heroes would be on their own for this fight.

Like the previous encounter, the robot retreated to its pit after its rampage of sudden carnage and was currently patrolling the perimeter of the pit tirelessly. The lights on its body had shifted back to an almost calming shade of blue.

It didn't seem to notice their presence. Either that, or it just didn't really care. Not yet, at least. It didn't react to the sudden shroud of darkness that fell over the area, or the small creature that came to investigate it. For now, all it did was pace in circles, slowly but purposefully, over and over.
