Name: Daniel Ryan
Alias: Superboy
Status(if your character is a hero or villain): Hero
Appearance: 6'2", 220 lbs. Lean, muscular build of an athlete. Tanned skin, short black hair and bright blue eyes. Angular features.
Age:18
Gender: Male
Powers: Kryptonian physiology. This includes:
-self-sustained flight
-enhanced perception and vision into all spectrums of light
-super strength, speed, hearing, smell, and durability that makes them nigh-indestructible, although not totally invulnerable.
-Heat vision and blast projection (Daniel has the unique ability to focus a similar heat blast through his palms as well as his eyes)
-Super Breath and Frost Breath
-Accelerated healing factor
-Self-sustenance
Daniel also has many "barriers" that prevent him from using his full strength, and is usually unaware of them, leading him to be weaker than expected of his race. He only breaks them when sufficiently pushed past and successfully exceeding the limits he subconsciously places on himself.
Abilities/Skills: Highly proficient and trained athlete, knows martial arts, fencing, and is a skilled craftsman.
Equipment: Silver locket, worn at all times.
History: Daniel was brought to Earth as an infant, many years after the arrival of Superman. He grew up with his surrogate family in Metropolis, living a comfortable life that bored him. He became an exceptional athlete as he aged, joining and leading many of the teams at school. Daniel was never a quiet kid, and was very troubled, often being angry or violent one moment and then calm the next. At age 14, he met the love of his life, the two of them growing ever closer as time went by. During an attack on Metropolis in their freshman year of high school by Bizarro and a few others, he lost her to a comatose state, discovering his powers and hating them. It has been two years since the attack, and Superboy has yet to absolve himself of his fears. He carries the heavy burden of her passing with his every thought as he tries to be the hero she always knew him to be...
Also, I would like to know if he could be an existing Titan rather than a new upstart. I feel like it would be a better way to introduce a character of this type. And I have no plans for over powering him, as Kryptonians tend to be.
