It probably takes several days, if not weeks, to travel between relays, even with FTL drives. The games just don't want to show you the harsh realities of fake space travel as you're going around saving the galaxy. It's hard to feel pumped for stopping Saren by going to Ilos when you're having several awkward, tense meals in the mess with your crew, and then you have to deal with Garrus using too much toilet paper and backing up the men's john, and then you have Liara spending days plucking some dead flower she got from her last shore leave, plucking pedals as she's working up the nerve to go bone Shepard. "He loves me... he loves me not... he loves me...""Liara. We'll bang, okay?"

Got fed up of ME3 after I started a relationship with her, and then Joker bitched at me for giving EDI advice when I thought it meant between EDI and him and then everyone else got pissed off and the whole relationships in it just ruined it for me.

Mass Effect: The world's most expensive dating simulator. Also, arguably the most unrealistic.

I think this next playthrough, I'm going to tell Joker he can't fuck a toaster.

You could probably sit nearish the Mass Relays, which in the systems without inhabited worlds would be a good plan, as long as you don't get int he way of traffic control of course.

In systems with inhabited worlds though, you'd likely get more out of sitting in near orbit where shuttles from the planet can easily get to you, as a fair bit of Mass Relay traffic isn't too interested in stopping off mid journey, though there will always be some of course.

I'm kind of of this opinion. It makes more sense to be in low orbit than to hang outside of a relay which, I imagine, would either be risking a traffic accident or people wouldn't be thinking about looking for a place to stop the minute they cleared the relay. Plus, a planet has a much, much higher potential client base. It would be like setting up in a city instead of some rural highway that may or may not have somebody pass by kinda thing.

need to ask Mosis if by any chance he was coming to see me?

I'd still like to, yes! If you'll have me, of course :3

On an unrelated note, I finally actually got to the point where I referenced the artifact and the fact that Riptide wants it! It's almost as if I'm a real part of this game!

I'm going to work on a second post over the next two days, I just need to figure out what kind of scenes I want to portray.

It will probably be a Dr. Than and Hakim focused post.

Hakim will likely be traveling so maybe he could meet with another organization?

Well, depending on where he's heading, he could meet either Tevura or Dave.

Time passing isn't quite direct, so you can skip over short travel times. As long as no-one skips forward too much at once everything should be pretty much fine.

Alright, so I caught up on reading today.

Post will have to wait for tomorrow.

It seems everyone is ignoring Khel Zhar and his infrmation brokering business.... He might reach out to provide exclusive intel to someone at this rate.

He is always welcome to reach out to the Particulars. They have funds and are pretty good at hiding where your illegal income is coming from. The only reason I reached out to Sep is because our businesses work very very well together. He is the blunt 'lets get business done' and I am the diplomatic 'now lets make sure no authority even knows what's happening.'

Hahaha!

Just because you work with one does not mean you cannot work with the other at the same time. ;)

I'll likely do another news post tonight too, though nothing about the artifact today. I notice people haven't started buying up assets yet... I guess that'll start once the giant mess of a fight goes down at the Rosetta Nebula Mass Relay. Thats gonna be fun to figure out.

I have a simple and elegant solution. Dave wins, gets the Prothean artifact, and the resulting attention to the Legion brings a Justicar or two to the Lonely Spacer. :D
