So I went back to my CS while I had time and I found myself questioning the authenticity of Yasukazu's weapon of choice [the colour balls]. What I mean is, the job of a Corrector will include fighting of Vs. Would these Vs really be able to be defeated without any actual weapon and just human force, even if they were trained in martial arts? I keep finding myself doubting that.

I wanted to enhance or perhaps change the weapon of choice, but I'd like to ask; assuming I keep the colour balls and as suggested before increase the number of different effects, how many effects can I have before it becomes over powered or unreasonable?

Vs come in all sorts of forms, the majority of them will be constructed monsters or avatars built by hackers on the outside, some will be actual hackers who have mimicked the ability that Correctors have, to project their body and entire being into the DgtWld. There's no real "sure" way to combat them, they need to be taken down as individuals. They aren't all from the same "mold" if that makes sense.

I mentioned you could and probably should give more thought to the colors and how many of each color can be materialized during a battle or time limit. I would say since your CS is someone who is a bit older, I will give them more leniency as to what they can do, granted I won't have any say until I see a real edit in the application but I'd say go for it, have fun with it.

weapon choice

Colour balls - The size of a fist, these are made out of digital 'paint' held in a thin transparent membrane. These spheres can be conjured and dissipated by Yasukazu mentally while in the DgtWld as a Corrector, making them appear on his palm or disappear with a mental signal. They are elastic until a certain amount of force is applied to them, most notably hitting another object after dropping or throwing them, or even poking it with something sharp at which point burst into a viscous goop and latches on to whatever it can. Comes in different hues, and each hue secrets unique effects upon bursting. Only one hue can be conjured by a single person at any instance.

• Red - the offensive colour, latches on to an object and after a moment explodes.


• Green - comes 'alive' upon bursting, becoming a green viscous 'rope' that binds around an object it came in contact with. Slicing and projectiles are ineffective against it [the 'rope' will slice or make a hole respectively but quickly mend itself] unless they are laced with powers such as fire or energy.


• Blue - harmless explosion of blue, temporarily obstructing sensors, preventing wireless signals, sound or visual from passing through the blue.


• Grey - the least viscous out of all the colours, almost liquid-like upon bursting. It seeps into whatever object it covers, leaving only its grey shade in its wake. The grey area receives an enhanced tolerance to being sliced, burnt, frozen or a massive exertion of force; a protective area, so to speak. Enough volume to cover Yasukazu's hands and forearms or feet/shoes and legs.

I like it, though by the "Only one hue can be conjured by a single person at any instance." line, should I assume he can only throw say, blue the entire battle? Or should the colors themselves only be able to conjure when other certain colors are in play? Ex: You can't use red and then green. But you could use red and then blue? I'm just thinking out loud here. XD

Actually you're right, now that i re-read it the meaning is sort of ambiguous, if not incorrect. What I meant was the person with this weapon can only conjure one colour each. Example being one blue, green, red and/or grey, but not two reds or two blues while the colour exists; it cannot be placed again until dissipating [or in red's case, after exploding].

Honestly I wanted to start with four(?) primary colours and make them have different effects by merging or mixing the colours together but that seemed unnecessarily complex.

I'll edit that part and then add to the original CS on page 3.

Holy crap people are still here. *fangirl noises* SO! To explain my uncharacteristic vanishing acts...my brother got back from Okinawa last weekend and he only has two weeks of leave before he goes to his next station in TX so I've been busy with him. And then I've had friends over (something I actually don't do often but since one is moving to AZ, I feel the need to spend as much time with her as possible) recently. And on top of that, I haven't had active enough RPs on here so I've been either busy IRL or on tumblr roleplaying. But I really am itching to get this going because I love it and it yields good fun. So once this does take off, I assure you my flippant actions will be a thing of the past. Again, I'm sorry. If anyone knows me from the old site, I'm usually a lot more active than I have been in recent weeks. *clears throat* Now to get down to GM business...

Chapter One Characters of Interest / Conflict







Summary Report:

A Hacker duo who call themselves Fright and Fury.

The female (Fright) uses a large scythe while the male (Fury) uses a long sword. They have been sighted three times across JPN over the past month. No squad of Correctors has been able to apprehend them or subdue them. The duo have been targeting banks and have claimed to have stolen over 100,000 USA dollars in the span of a month. They have yet to endanger any MChips or users but they are considered dangerous and unpredictable. Their location or offline whereabouts are also unknown, their motives seems purely driven by money and excessive greed.

If you run across them, proceed with caution and report immediately.
