Motherfucking. suppose I gotta sip the slippers down the hallways of abstract fuckery and let loose the rapid goose at something. Since I am in the domain of the anger thread. You know what I hate.

When I get, motherfucking. lost in the thought roads with all my shit. I get like, pictures and powers going on in my skull like a cinema that played shuffle cards with the reel segments but then I like. Got to carry on a project from that, and even when I do come up with something and start it up I forget how to carry on with it. Even for short stories.

Journalism in gaming has always been terrible, and it was terrible before 3rd wave feminism came along and it will stay terrible well after it phases out. Because game reviews are barely journalism, they are opinion pieces.

Gamergate pro or anti are cringe meme worthy subcultures that validate the existence of the type of people who have multiple facebook accounts to argue with themselves. The whole thing is incredibly stupid, and the only reason why anyone outside the internet even knows about it is because of the hate mail and death threats from both sides.

TBH, ever since I realized that gamers took the evaluation of subjective art as something that could be objectively measured, I've had to double check anything gamers say just to confirm they aren't just stupid.

I don't know all about her goings on, but I do know that most video series on youtube that rag on her take most of her words and actions incredibly out of context.



Not a fan of the fact she literally stopped making the video series she funded and instead went through "
Twenty media appearances and interviews" and "Mentored a Women in Tech public speaking workshop" until recently. Then again, she also created all 12 of the videos she said she would and more and who am I to decide how quickly she outputs content?

I think even the term 'gamer' is somewhat toxic, especially nowadays. as a kid in the 90s games were another hobby as well as sports, reading, music etc. But no one defined themselves as a 'gamer' because is so subjective. How long do you have to play games to be a gamer? What games count as 'gamer' games? mobile games? console games? PC games? Do genres count what if you only play chess simulators but on a console?

The idea that this 'group' could be attacked is stupid because the group isn't defined by anything exhuastive.

As a straightforward person, the word gamer is meaningless, as a sarcastic person, I'd define gamer as "Bioshock? Yeah that game had a cool plot twist! Wait, Atlas Shrugged, what's that? Is that a new game?"

I could care less about labels as the opinions of others are either against, for or neutral and in the end only opinions.

I love Star Trek and have been called Trekie, Treker, Weirdo, Geek, ect.

I love Table Top RPGs and that too is fixed with labels many of them insulting and still I don't care.

I am a fan of Black Powder rifles and Iron target shoots and there too I am fixed with labels so to me the whole Gamer Label being Toxic is a moot point

I'm a Geek, a Gamer, a Trekie, a Gun Nut, a Dyke, a Weirdo and other things but in the end I am still who I chose to be

I love when people claim to write stories without bias because unless they are soulless they are either lying or just fooling themselves

Human beings rarely if ever and I believe never are capable of separating their beliefs from their writing unless it is expressed as a pure mathematical function and that is because 2+2=4 a result defined by laws as far up as String theory and when the formula is disproved it is because of those laws proving an error.

Next on my list are those who are so thin skinned as to invent offense from misunderstanding that prove they'd make lousy Diplomats

Conversation even with those you love is studded by periodic misunderstanding

I try to never allow myself to be so easy to offend as to need an artificial world contained in a SafeSpace if I am presenting a new or controversial topic; to do so is against the laws of evolution and scholarship and proves my argument is to weak to stand on it's own

I admit that I too like everyone am susceptible to insult or emotional injury and because I don't enjoy being insulted try to never use insult; here again I fail from time to time because I'm not perfect
