It was a mercurial process hedging on the teacher's current lucidity and something about barometric pressure, or so it seemed. The final grade means I'll be able to let the nightmare go at last, unless of course it screws with my GPA then I get to go and argue with the dean some. Fun times!

I feel bad for my younger brother, he's starting college next week (with me, muahahahaha!) and he has to start way down low on the math totem pole

It's just general education, he placed in a low math on his assessment test for the college

Well that works too. If you don't want a post like that, just say so here and we can certainly move on when everyone's ready :)

eta: and it's already been a long day here, and I may or may not be running on 3 hours or so of sleep, because *test anxiety* I'm going to get up a couple more pertinent CS's today like I said, but mostly just sit here and watch the pretty shadow patterns on my walls from the forest.

And my history professor just got some points, one of the books I had to get was a collection of Roman comedies translated with a modern take and I found it nice and cheap on amazon! Woo hoo!!! I actually saw one of them performed once and watching the yummy Half-Asian man playing the God Dionysus proclaim with a perfect smirk "I am the son of God" had a real formative effect on me as a young girl. *swoons*

And Kuro, that is so painfully perfect, except there should be a 1 to the left of the 7 on that book.

False. I floundered my way through a single higher-level math course, passed with (barely) a D, and now no longer have to take math.

Sometimes, you have to be willing to make some sacrifices in the interest of not hating the rest of your college career. :P

I feel y'alls pain regarding books. I had four texbooks to rent, and it cost me $460.

It's a scam, I tell you.
