Also, as for your conflict, it's understandable and you would not be alone in your feelings. I'm sure there are people aboard the ship that feel critical toward Pauline for keeping the child of that monster.
That conflict was one of the reasons for her creation in the first place. Exploring discomfiting, difficult and thought-provoking issues while creating the potential for some fun writing about conflict and drama in the future? *checked that box* And glad you like her too, Dot. ;)
