I was actually thinking more of what happens if a mech or support ship pilot gets too injured to return to the ark. A neurotech could enact emergency protocols and possess it in order to bring it home?

Depends if Connor is asked to actually build them, right now they're just hand drawn schematics inside of a notebook

I was thinking about more than just mech suits. Mining ships, for example. Although the danger could too great for a tech to attempt except in the most dire of emergencies; s/he would have to basically send their conscience out across wi-fi to inhabit the machinery.

What happens if the connection suddenly dropped?

Also, Kuro, mech = kinda bulky in the ship, if it has to be used there. Maybe an

Exoskeleton

of some sort, instead? Added protection, enhanced speed and strength, but without the unwieldiness of a mech?
