No need for you to ask any questions then Rumiko. The next post will basically be Bat's ironing out his plan then giving the team time to prepare themselves for the battle, so you could just do that instead.

Heh. I meant for Orbit's little speech to be quietly away from the group...

But this works even better. Luke's not the pushover he used to be... and that alone spoke more to Orbit than any apology. He wasn't begging, he wasn't pleading. He was... honest, plus, he wasn't afraid of her.

...Yeah, my Jin/Orbit muse is basically going "...d...did his balls drop while he was gone or something? What the hell?"

Plas needed her to verbally slap him with all that stuff while they were tending to Gabe. He realizes he screwed up and want to be a man now.

He is secretly hoping she won't take him up on the offer of fighting it out later between them. She punches like REALLY hard...

She does punch hard, but she threw a lot of power behind that one hit... and she is paying for it.

He might be able to stand his own much better than he thinks. Plas has a lot of endurance... and Orbit does get frustrated when things don't work how they're 'supposed' to.

...then again, she does have her blade orbs. Can he be sliced and still live?

Yeah I believe he can reattach sliced bits... would have to check though since his powers are basically Plastic Man's.

(Also, I'm pretty sure Plastic Man is as about as close to an immortal as the Justice League has got. Didn't he survive being blasted into tiny chunks then dropped onto the ocean floor for over a thousand years?)

Ok, so that's my next post up. Say we give you guys until Tuesday night to have some pre-battle interaction, characters thoughts, that sorta thing, before I post the opening of our mission against Kendall's forces.

We'll also be picking our newest recruits tomorrow night, so there's that.

Exodus, I added Beck's bit at the end of my post and had Bat's walk a bit away from the group so you can get your alone time with the Dark Knight.

Yeah I had just remembered that this morning...

But one thing too I think would be good to mention, and this is purely headcanon so be forewarned. But during that period when Plas was still on the team I was thinking his dad sues him for the Plastic Man name that his company still technically has copyright on. But Batman himself or the Justice League help Luke with a high quality lawyer to fight the case. Luke ends up winning it, and the end result is his father pulls him aside and verbally trashes him for making a mockery of him.

Yet another reason why Luke needed to get away from it all for some time.
