Alias: Mary

Gender: Female

Height/ Weight: Not vurry polite to ask a woman this~!

Personality: ???

Stats:

Strength: E
Endurance: E
Agility: E
Mana: E
Luck: E

Class Skills:

Item Creation:-
At the cost of the acquisition of ? by means of the Noble Phantasm, the "Item Construction" skill is lost.

Territory Creation:-
At the cost of the acquisition of ? by means of the Noble Phantasm, the "Territory Creation" skill is lost.

Personal Skills:

01 Surgical Procedure [C+]

Capability of surgical repair with use of a scalpel, applicable to the Servant or her Master.

The technique is rustic. At a face it seems unreliable, as nothing but a scalpel or sufficiently precise and sharp object is required. However, in actuality its base ability is far beyond that of even modern doctors. Even the most complicated operations can be done in a moment and with no trouble.

When the operation involves the brain or "control center of the body" skill level raises magnificently. With a few simple cuts, ? is capable of completely altering the brain.

Surgical Procedure can be used in combat, but it will not be as precise as if the person was not moving. A modifier is given to damage output when this skill is used.

This skill gives her an intimate knowledge of biology, especially neuroscience. It is not limited to humans.

02 Orthodox Thaumaturgy D-

The ability to use the typical magecraft abilities. However, this does not cover general modern magecraft nor the classics. Largely based around formalcraft. Because of this, the skill is low in rank; formalcraft is a basic ability that almost anyone can do with the preparation and knowledge. There are no special requirements to use it.

This magecraft is similiar in nature to a certain French Occultist.

It seems that Casters talent in this ability is average, but their knowledge is extremely high. They are capable of recognizing most systems at a glance.

Ritual based. Formalcraft is horrible for fights.

A bit, granted, but there -is- a justification for that. Plus, don't forget True Assassin had the exact same physical stats as Lancer (B, C, A).

That's because True Assassin ate his heart for power. Like the Aztecs. Except he's muslim. And probably more selective about the hearts he eats mmmmhmm.

I hear a lot of people say this, but I never quite got a source. Got anything handy? Lurking BL only does so much for me.

"BuT I wILL nOt aLLow THat. I MuST KiLL You. I nEEd mOrE EXperIenCE. I sHaLL KiLL YoU To aDD tO mY iNtELLigeNCe."

McJon said The real Heroic Spirit of assassinations.
He was summoned by Matou Zouken, and came into the world using Sasaki Kojirou's body.
With his white skull mask and black robes, he is the stereotypical assassin.
Ability-wise he's a little underwhelming, but he's an easy Servant to use. In contrast to his unsettling outward appearance, he's actually quite loyal, and will faithfully serve somebody he's acknowledged as his master to the bitter end.
Because he is merely one of many wraiths (Heroic Spirit candidates) swarming around the name "Assassin", his basic parameters are low. To compensate for this, he modified his own body, and so was able to stand against the other Servants.
There is no face beneath his mask. His skin and nose have been shaven off, transforming him into "nobody". That is what it means to become the Old Man of the Mountain.
When he was first summoned, he barely had any intelligence at all, but by acquiring Lancer's heart he rapidly powered up. Afterward, he was influenced by Lancer's personality.
By the way, it seems that he was particularly attached to his dirks, because he would always take care to gather them all up before returning from a battle.

After that it's a bit of [logic], but that's about all I've got quote-wise. Knowing BB, he probably has something more substantive.

Taking the false Servant's flesh as its own, the true Assassin enters our world.
"KiKiki, kikikikiki"
His first cries sound like those of an insect.
The black insect that crawled from the swordsman's stomach devours the body that was his own nursery.

He giggles while tearing the flesh apart.
He laughs while crunching on the bones.

Every time he does so, the insect becomes more like a man, and the empty brain acquires human wisdom.
And after a while…
He has finished sipping every last bit of the blood and blesses the birth of his own self, the "assassin".

I'm fairly certain (not 100% sure) it's only relevant to his intelligence, based on him eating Assassin too.

It's like really simple. Check the stat screen for TA before he eats the heart, then after. It changes. To lazy to upload screens of that though.

Well, I'd do that if the LP they have on the LP archive had that info; my copy of F/sn got eaten by my old computer when it died, still looking on redownloading it. As far as I'm aware, though, you don't actually get any of TA's data before he punks Lancer:

http://lparchive.org/Fatestay-night/Update%20278/
It does not actually let us view any data from the strange, new servant.

Nope I was wrong it doesn't let you do that, I haven't played FSN in ages. Sorry about that, my bad.

Eitherway, this pretty much is most peoples argument;

In order to compensate for this disadvantage, he modified his body. As a result, he was able to rival other Servants.

It's basically saying that he modified his body to be able to compete with other servants.

However your assassin probably has a skill, history, or NP that lets them be that stronk, or I assume so. I'll place faith in that for now and believe you and our GM. It isn't impossible for there to be a strong assassin, you just need a good justification, and you obliviously can't show that right now for identity hiding reasons.

In Regards to Fish of Oblivion's Assassin:

Alright! Since there has been some concerns among the players, I've decided to look into this matter more deeply myself!

In regards to True Assassin, I'm a bit with BB on this. I personally believe his stats were similar to Fate/Zero Assassin at first, but due to Self-Modification and his Delusional Heartbeat NP, he was able to absorb some of Lancer's Strength and intelligence, hence the reason his statistical rank is higher than Fate/Zero Assassin if they're all meant to be the 'same' person, but with different skills. I'd assume if he were to devour more Servant hearts, he'd probably grow stronger in those ranks as well, and possibly his agility as well, but the odds of that happening would be fairly low.

Now, back towards Fish's Assassin, since there are a few complaints, I suggest we lower a few stats subtly: reduce his Endurance to C, and his Luck to D, or even E Rank. He's a tad squishier, but he still retains that hidden offense like an Assassin should, and he would also have the strange odd rule that all Assassin's usually have extremely bad luck.

How does this sound to everyone?

Edit: Also, if I haven't mentioned this already, and those of you who have made the changes I requested via PM, then your characters are accepted and I'll update the Character List shortly.

Don't worry about it, man. I know a lot of people make the assumption on account of the similar stats and what you just mentioned; and I honestly thought it let you do that too. And the justification -should- be there; this Assassin's quite a bit older than the Hassan i-Sabbah, at any rate.

Was nice to have a debate about something with another Nasuverse fan, I guess. XD

No objections about dropping the Luck a bit (considering Assassin's legend), but the higher Endurance is a bit of a trade-off for the lower Agility (seeing as the majority of canon Assassins have A-Rank or above AGI, iirc). Considering his age and his legend, would it be okay if I just decreased the Rank on the Luck?

Hmm... Well, the other reason I suggested the Endurance reduction is because his skills as an Assassin are hidden as well due to his unique Presence Concealment, and allowing him far more diversity than any other Assassin would since he can be unknown. I wanted there to be a feel of more-risk = more-reward feel to him like a normal Assassin would, however since I know who he is, this is a different case compared to other Assassins.

Alright, well, I suppose lowering his Luck to E rank would work, but I would also like to lower his mana down one rank to D, forcing him to rely more upon his Master for mana than himself. He retains his durability and offense, but he will have to play cleverly like an Assassin should, utilizing his skills wisely or he would be found out if he makes mistakes.

How does this sound?

Name: Alexandria (Alexis) Klienrest

Age: 18

Gender: Female

Nationality: Great Britain

Race: Human

Appearance:

Personality (can be left blank): Alexis is a girl who sees violence with distaste, preferring to focus on defence and protection as demonstrated by her mystic code. Her reasoning for joining the holy grail war despite her distaste for violence comes from two reasonings: First, killing the masters is not a NECESSITY, and second the servants themselves are perfectly willing to fight to the death on their own will in the first place, so there was no reason to stop them. She holds absolute confidence in herself - to the point that when confronted with the fact that killing masters would be the best way to win she would scoff and ask "Do you really think I'm incapable of winning without resorting to such tactics?" and takes refuge in the fact that she holds complete understanding of most concepts. On the other hand, if she comes across something that is beyond her understanding she would lose any sense of safety and comfort and dive into trying to understanding it as quickly as possible.

Alexis also has a soft side in which she likes to indulge in various hobbies - with varying degrees of success. While she had become good at cooking and origami, her family still insists that the sweater she had been trying to knit was an abomination that was most definitely trying to attack her, and she never really did quite get over the fact her family attacked it on sight.

Weapon: Her mystic code: Thron der gebrechlichen.

Thron der gebrechlichen - a mystic code created by Alexis that originates from a jewel placed on the wheelchair she uses; this jewel is the source of a five layered bounded field which protect Alexis at all times. The first and widest layer consists of a bounded field which works within up to a 100m radius around the wheelchair, warning her of any hostile presences. The second layer consists of a field that will hide Alexis' presence from anything except visual contact. The third layer consists of a special magical field - any spells attempted by Alexis in this field will be amplified and made much more powerful with lower cost to her prana. The fourth layer acts as a protection against magic - Any magic that Alexis is unaware of or deems hostile will be weakened within this layer, and the fifth layer is one that Alexis crafted specifically not to fall to the trap of underestimating heretics -- the fifth layer automatically completely freezes in place any moving object that Alexis is not aware of or deems hostile. Once objects are frozen and Alexis has had the opportunity to judge whether or not the moving objects are a threat to her she may allow them to keep moving as if they never stopped, force them to lose all momentum and simply drop to the floor or allow them to keep their momentum but move in the opposite direction.

Abilities: General Magecraft, territorial magecraft, martial arts Jujutsu

History/Background: The heir and lone daughter of the fledging magus family Klienrest, Alexis decided to participate in the holy grail war in order to raise the prestige of her family.

Assets: Money. Lots of money. Also has a Compass, a Watch, a five star hotel penthouse and an Alchemy set
