*everything is dead silent... you look around and this is likely a steppe or desert world or something like that, with a dense enough atmosphere that at least the wind should be heard... but nope... grave silence! looking at the ore, it is a multitude of iron, copper, zinc, coal, and a bunch of stone, probably from a nearby quarry?, you look at your feet... it seems that the dust you are kicking when walking moves for a bit shortly before freezing in place, in fact all your footsteps previously seem to be tiny clouds of dust and pebbles frozen in the air*
