The white-haired boy stared after the two who had just left before sitting down with a sigh. Taking off his glasses, he laid his head down on the table and placed an arm over it. "I don't even know why... why do I ever think that things will be simple?"

"Well, we were all part of this prison, and that's were I met Core," She winks directly at Core. "Boy, I was so in love with her." She sighs dramatically. "She dumped me because I tried to eat her." Calamity jested. "I'm kidding, I do like the sound of Caly-chan though..." She pats Kushu's head. "Let's be best friends!"

"Caly-chan, it is. " Kushu hugged Calamity.

"Speaking of which..." Sonja removed his arm from his head and turned his face toward where he thought the nine-year-old was, though he never lifted it from the table. "You have been awfully quiet this whole time."

Core looked at Sonja.
"I've just been wondering what uniforms everyone would look good in. I think Lynnie would look great in a miniskirt, and I think that me and Calamity would wear suits. And little Kushu would wear a black summer dress with a police badge on it and sunglasses,"

"Sonja would be nude." Calamity butted in. "I don't think he'd look good in anything." She laughed. "No offence."

"So Kushu will be joining us, then? I don't really know how I feel about this. She's even younger than you, after all, even if she's not human either..." The thought of such a young child joining in such a serious affair was a bit disturbing to him, although he used to think the same way about Core when he first met her. And look how that turned out. Do I really worry too much or something? His eyes widened as another realization hit him: Kyushu hadn't been in the room, had she? He looked back up at Core. "By the way, since she arrived here as well, did you invite her to join before like the rest of us? And why, exactly?"

Sonja's head shot up from the table at this comment. "I refuse to do anything like that! And removing clothes certainly would not help with my looks!"

"Ach... I'm not dealing with this..." Sonja placed his head back down on the table, seriously considering Core's previous offer of the futon from earlier. "I guess you must have been seriously bored without us."

Jeffery was a little shocked, here he was almost ready to kill someone and Lynnie wanted to go with him. Jeffery smiled at her, "sure, I can show you my new apartment."

"Okay, it'd be a pleasure." Lynnie laughed as she began to walk with Jeffery. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had human interaction besides her mother since the white room.

"Alright we're almost there," he said since he could already see he building, "it's pretty nice actually, I made some money working as an exorcist. Basically I kill things like the ones my father sends after me from time to time."

"Sounds a bit creepy." Lynnie laughed. "It's nice to see everyone again. Especially you."

[Rin Okumura]

"It's great to see you to, but here we are," Jeffery points at the nice looking building in front of him. "Ironically I'm half demon and my apartment number 66 on floor 6," Jeffery laughs at the irony of it as they head up to his apartment.

Lynnie started following Jeffery up to his apartment. "Tell that joke to all the pretty girls you bring to your apartment." Lynnie put sarcasm in her voice, hoping he would detect that she was just being funny.

"Girls?" Jeffery almost burst out laughing, "you didn't even need sarcasm. Yeah, me bringing girls anywhere," Jeffery was barely holding in his laughter. "You're pretty funny, like I could even get a girl. I'll be perfectly honest, other than you, I've never been able to get girls," Jeffery thought about it and thought himself pretty lucky to even meet someone like Lynnie, "you're actually the first person I've shown this too."

"I bet if you tried, you could get any girl you wanted." Lynnie couldn't tell if she was teasing or being honest, she was rather confused on why Jeffery didn't have any "girls".

"Well there's a few problems with that. One, whenever I'm embarrassed my body is engulfed in flames and when I'm nervous I get the flames on my forehead. Two, I get really nervous talking to normal people that I don't already know.Three, even if I got far enough with a girl how am I going to explain the tail when I get that far." Jeffery started listing the problems with him getting girls as he began searching for his apartment, he still didn't know the layout of the building very well, "plus, why do I need any girls when there's you?" Jeffery blushed a little bit as the flames on his forehead appeared.

Lynnie's cheeks grew hot and her head fell, her eyes adverted to the ground. "I like your tail." Lynnie felt stupid but for some reason thats all the words her mouth could form.

"It still hurts like hell," Jeffery complained as he unlocked the door, "Calamity is lucky that other people were there, I didn't want to hurt anyone else. Anyway, this is my apartment," Jeffery opened the door to a good sized apartment that looked modern and clean and had a good amount of space. The first thing he did was head over to his room and grab the case his sword was in and slung it over his shoulder, "much better. There's food in the kitchen, there's a TV in the living room, and the guest room is the first door on the right down that hallway. My room is the first on the left, and the bathroom is at the end of the hallway," Jeffery points to the different locations as he talks about them.
