"Should I get prepared with multiple barriers just in case? I have a bunch of barrier papers in my room if we need them." He asked as he left the money on the ground where it was. "Whoever wants it can have it by the way."

Meruin nodded. "Erm, yes, you might want to do that. And I'll take that," she said as she picked up the money. "Never wasted never wanted and all that. Where does your money come from anyway?"

Reina clapped her hands. "I just got the message. Chase is coming along, and don't worry your little heads, okay kids? I advised her to restrain her aura so you don't have to waste energy on barriers."

Lisanna was bracing herself for the massive pressure but relaxed when she heard that Meruins master was going to keep her shield up "thank god I don't know if i would've been able to keep my breakfast down if they were going to pop in without restraining their aura" she said and put down her vector barrier that she had erected to protect herself then turned to Tyler saying "and about that comment about Meruin being a ninja as well as an assassin , ninjas and assassins are two different things but if she needs any help in the earlier then i'll be happy to help her although she probably doesn't need anyone" as she walked up to meruin and clapped her on the back smiling.

"My parents were owners of multiple Fortune 500 companies. They're not around anymore, so I got their inheritance. I run the companies now through various other people, since legally I can't own companies on account of my age." Tyler explained as he got a distant look in his eyes. If you looked closely you could see a definite tint of sadness and... regret?

Meruin rubbed her neck as she awkwardly tried to smile as Lisanna clapped her back. As Tyler spoke, she frowned. "Were your parents magic as well?" she asked. She actually wanted to ask if he was alright, but Meruin, for all her knowledge and magic prowess, was still a socially awkward teen. That was the best thing she could say, she thought.

In the meantime, Reina, who was still packing up, spoke to Lisanna. "The term 'Assassin Mage' is slightly misleading. It may not be what you're thinking about," she said with a knowing smile.

"No, not to my knowledge anyways. My grandfather was. He wasn't very strong but he was the one who taught me what little magic I had known then. I taught myself everything else. It's amazing what you can learn when you have enough money to buy your own library worth of Tomes." Tyler explained as he began refocusing on the world around him. "Do you think it's possible to start an elemental Grimoire?" He asked trying to change the subject. It was obvious he didn't like talking about his past.

"What do you mean by Assassin Mage then?" lisanna asked running through the types of mages her master had told her about and then remembering the ones in the clan that her "parents" were a part of "is it like a toned down version of the ones in the saboteur clan, I mean like the ones who were.... well born and trained for fighting and killing as well as having many attack oriented spells and abilities?" she said then tensed up with a slight feeling of nervousness passing through her at the thought that she had said that too bluntly.

"I would love to know the idiot that sold you Tomes," grumbled Reina. Shaking her head, she faced Tyler. "Grimoires' are different from Tomes and Magic Books. They're magical crystallization of your soul, and it doesn't only store spells, but also reveals everything about yourself, even things you don't want to know or deny about yourself."

Meruin nodded. "That's why Grimoires' are so heavily guarded. For a mage to share the secrets of their Grimoire is a bond more significant than marriage or sex. You are literally showing your soul to another person. Grimoires' have no specific element or theme, it changes just as its user does. An elemental Grimoire can be achieved, but it means you have to be so in attune with all the elements to a degree that it's branded into your very soul."

Satisfied with the way her apprentice explained things, Reina then turned to Lisanna. "Assassin Mages are called that because of one reason, and it's related to the two most useful tools of an assassin: Skill and patience. With enough time and sufficient skill, anyone can be assassinated. Anyone. In relation to that, Assassin Mages are much the same. They build up skill and take their time in achieving their objective, often unknown. They are combative in nature, but are not necessarily actual 'assassins'. Some of them prefer researching or gathering knowledge as their main focus in life."

"Like me," said Meruin. "I think I've come to enjoy battle, but that doesn't mean that I prefer it over expanding my knowledge."

"Exactly. Say, Meruin, do you mind wearing your old apprentice robes for your photo? I remember how cute you looked in it so I thought that it would be a nice touch."

"If you want me to, I suppose I could," said Meruin. Her master clapped her hands in delight. "Wonderful! Oh, Chase is almost here."

"Hmm, I see. From what I understand, a Grimoire is achieved through... intense training? I'm sure I'll figure it out one day." Tyler began muttering to himself as he began getting that unfocused look in his eyes again.

Cruz reached the cafeteria. He saw everyone gathering around Meruin, but he decided not to bother them and went ahead to pick some food. "Cruz, are you not interested on what they are doing on that gathering over there?", Lhermite asked. "Even if I am curious, we should not meddle. Plus... what would someone like me would be doing there?", he whispered, while getting his food.

Sol pondered the discussion; a Grimore was ones soul... interesting. However it did not necessarily have to be in book form, perhaps everyone here could obtain a grimiore in some form in another. He adjusted his sword and walked back into the room, "Well I’m going to get breakfast, might want to prepare a platter for your guests, its buffet style so you can just get your own whatever." Sol said as he went to do just that. He got a platter of pancakes liberally doused with syrup and sat next to Cruz, "Hey there, how’s your morning going?" he asked conversationally.

Tyler walked over to the buffet and grabbed some food. It wasn't a lot, but he didn't eat much. He ate rather quickly and pulled out a book. It was called Advanced Elemental Spells Volume 3. There was a lot he didn't understand, but he was sure he would figure it out eventually. He always did.

"Well then lets see who's faster Canine or Feline." Kevin puts his shade like visor on and smiles. "Tag your it!" He sprints off moving at an incredible speed due to his manipulation of electricity.

"Haha! Game on!" Mutt transformed into his werewolf state, and took of at full speed after you. He effortlessly weived around trees, and other obstacles. He was but a blur in moments. Had it not been for your electricity manipulation, there would have been no competition. But, with the manipulation, the end result was mutt literally on your heels, in such a way that you could feel each poweffull breath against your calves as he chased you.

Nearly a full minut into the chase, mutt pounced forward, and swiped with the soft part of his paws at Kevin. "HAHA I GOT YOU!" He shouted, however it cane out as a blurred compilation of barks as he chased you. He didnt even realize that the chase was lurking closer and closer still to the school grounds.

Sandra also headed to the cafeteria to allow Meruin to get her picture taken and took a seat next to Tyler and ate the lunch she had prepared herself "That book looks boring." She commented glancing over with a slight grin "The water magic in it is pretty fun though, it seems easy enough to learn." The girl started to read the book as well over Tyler's shoulders.

Meruin watched as another woman appeared on the other side of the screen. She was a short woman, about a forehead taller than Meruin herself. If there was one thing that could be used to describe the woman, it would be gold.
Gold hair, eyebrows, clothes, almost everything is coated in absolute gold. Unlike Reina, who had the calm etiquette reminiscent of a philosopher, Chase bore a grin and exuded the persona of an all conquering Empress.

"Meruin! My girl! I heard the most absolute wonderful news! Ha ha! Of course you'd be a combat mage, I could see it in your eyes that you longed for a good challenge!" she shouted, speaking quickly and with a fist raised in the air.

"Hello, Lady Chase," Meruin stated, smiling at the woman familiarly warm attitude. The golden witch nodded and turned to Reina. "Oh, hello there Reina."

"A little bit late for greetings, Chase."
