Nikki Biyung, & Amanda Daisy Blackmore.
Amanda absentmindedly shrugged at Red's quiet request. Well it looks like some people need a sense of humor, but whatever. "Sure, whatever." She shrugged, speaking out loud, putting a hand on her hip. Whatever floats Red's boat, but the guy wasn't going to stop Amanda's fun.
Nikki was a little skeptical when Red whispered something in Amanda's ear, causing her to be quiet. Nikki could guess that he asked her something. Either way, it made Amanda stop, lest she wanted to make a bad first impression. This girl was pretty young, actually, but not too young. Nikki had to guess that she was a few years younger than herself, in the 13's range. Hm. Well, now that Nikki looked, Poppy does look a little silly - But she wasn't going to condone the insensitivity of her older cousin.
Red decided to introduce the pair, even though Nikki had already introduced herself. The girl was named Poppy...? Okay, that was a pretty uncommon name, and sounded rather silly for a name. But Nikki kept her mouth shut. "Nice to meet you, Poppy." She spoke in a kind tone.
"Sup, lil' bit." Amanda put her arms behind her head, smiling at Poppy. "That's a weird name, you know?"
When Red suggested that they get room mates, Nikki shrugged. Well, she did see it coming, but she was hoping that her roomie wouldn't mind all the bugs. "Sure, let's go." Nikki remembered that they got the speech in the administration building. Using a little bit of bugs, she lead everyone there. Like she knew this school like the back of her hand. They all stepped into the Administration building, it was starting to get a little busy, since everyone was getting their rooms. Nikki and Amanda walked up to the front desk.
"I hope they didn't pair me with any weirdos this year." Amanda blew a puff of air from between her lips. She leaned on the front desk, looking the African-American desk worker in the eyes. "Sugar-lips, mind giving me my roomie?" The secretary gave her a note and the keys. Amanda put the key down and tore the note open. It was like playing the lottery. It was just as likely for her to win, and get someone actually sane, as her failing hilariously and getting a retarded room mate.... "Vera Dubnin?" She asked herself. She heard of Vera, but she never actually talked to her. Well, they're going to be doing plenty of that.
Nikki then got her key, and unlike Amanda, she wasn't caring too much about who she got as a room mate, more of the fact that she has a room mate. "Hey, what gives? I have no room mate?" This was a something that Nikki thought she'd say.
"Sorry, but we're still working. Sometimes we just have an uneven number of students, and we can't fill every room, every year. Sometimes we'll get late arrivals, or someone might switch rooms, so you will not be alone the entire room."
"Well..." Nikki looked down at her feet, "... Okay." She shrugged. Well, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. She'd be able to do the things that she could do at home. Like make a massive bee hive. Actually, no. Making that in the middle of a school is a recipe for disaster.
"Well, I'm going to chill here for a little bit. Maybe I'll spot my room mate."
Jake Vin, & Gabriela Mya Valos.
Before long, the Valos walked straight into the Administration Building, they waded through the crowds of people and quickly made it to the front desk. Each of them got their room mates, starting from Gabe, and ending with Jaska.
Gabe carefully examined her note, trying to figure out where she has heard that name before. Cordelia Holmes...? She thought about it. Cataloging through the wide variety of weirdos that she met so far. Then the realization hit her like a truck. "Aw, fuck!" She hissed through her teeth.
"Watch your language, Gabe..." Jake rolled his eyes, hating that he has to constantly remind her not to curse around their single-digit-age brother.
"Oh, sorry." Gabe leaned in forward, quietly whispering, "Aw, fuck."
"What is it?" Jake asked, rolling his eyes yet again.
"I'm being paired with the street rat that was at our table." Gabe replies, in a less than pleased tone. "Out of all the people I would rather share a room with, I gotta' share my shit with her." She hissed, rolling her only eye. "Who'd you get?" Gabe asked Jake.
Well, Jake looked at his note, and it was Jared Winston. Hm? He heard the last name, it . Well, either Red is a nickname for Jared, or Red has a brother. "I think it's Red." At the corner of his eye, he saw Cordelia and Alex. "And there's your new best friend." Jake sarcastically said, as pointed at Lynn and Alex. He got a light elbow from Gabe.
"Oh shut up, you got your perfect boyfriend to share a room with, I get a dirty street rat." Gabe taunted back. Getting playfully pushed by Jake. "What, what? It's true."
Jake merely rolled his eyes, "Well, I would try to make nice with her. Whether or not she looks shady as I don't know what; it'd be easier for everyone if you did that."
"Whatever." Gabe said. Well, she was going to take Jake's advice and hope it works. If not then, Gabe will get another room with someone that's actually worth a damn. She walked away from them, and towards her new room mate.
"You play nice now." Jake said with a sarcastic smile, waving at her (using only his fingers). He was going to wait for Red to ask him, before moving on.
What the hell am I doing...? Gabe asked herself as she matched. I don't want anything to do with the street-rat or the Little Miss Nightlight. All I have to do is go bitch at the front desk lady, and wave some money around, and boom! New... Gabe was so caught up in her own thoughts that she hadn't realize that she was standing before them. Oh, god, shit's gonna be awkward. "Hey..." She said to Cordelia, "I guess we're gon' be room mates..." It's always like the universe was bent on fucking me.
And I don't like diiiicks.
Dana Lucile Alcott, & Theresa Sindel Obott.
Wait? It took Dana a few seconds to realize that this was the Christoper Fox everyone was talking about. There were stories... Dana wasn't the one being told them, she was kinda spying on other people when they talked about it. The man who accidentally killed people before fleeing into the forest. Never to be seen again. But, the torment this man must have gone through... Something that Dana couldn't have imagined for herself, honestly. Thank God her power wasn't destructive as the others (But at the same time, just as deadly). "I... Heard of such an incident, but I never thought I'd see the man behind it...." She trailed off, feeling like she's being over dramatic.
Theresa hadn't heard of the stories that took place decades ago, due to not really having too many connections, and the fact that she's a loner. So this new development caused a few questions. Sure it was an accident, and Theresa had a fair share of her own (Stuff she doesn't like talking about). But - Shouldn't Christoper get arrested, or contained at least? People died, and their families probably want answers. And where did he go? He probably never even left the island! However, Theresa knew her place and kept her jaws clenched shut.
They let the conversation between Chris and Henry go on.
Henry described something they kinda already knew. They have been coming here for years (Hell, Dana was coming here for three-forths of a decade). Yes, Theresa was younger than everyone else here, and last year, she was paired with a thirteen year old boy. And that, for someone's who's a little more on the teenaged side, was simply atrocious. Thankfully, Theresa managed to actually get assigned to the female dorm this year, which was quite the struggle - The school saw that since Theresa is biologically male, that she should be placed with the rest of the males. Now, it'll hopefully lead to less awkward moments. "Sure." Theresa said. She was thankful that Henry was going to cart Dana for once. She does that all the time.
"I'm fine with that." Dana could always cart herself around, but it was always more convenient to get someone else to do it.
Valjean Vaseal.
It was a mighty feast, reigning in yet another excellent school year.
He wanted to see who the fresh meat was this year, and how he can show them who's the top dog in the arena. Every year, new people came in acting like they're the shit. And what happened? Valjean showed them what the Desert Scorpion was like. Last year he gave a kid such a beating that he never came back. School life, and other things were irrelevant. He passed, and that was all he was aiming for. How will all this science-y crap help him in life?
Either way, he spent his time in the cafeteria talking to some friends and other groupies, eating food. He was chatting everyone up - But he didn't really try to get with any of the girls. Though, as time went on, everyone started leaving. Either they were going to get their rooms, or were just going their separate ways. Which meant that Valjean had to be the killing joke, and leave. He walked through the cafeteria, giving everyone a look or two. Amanda and some Asian she never seen before were talking to some monkey in a suit, and some red haired girl - Boring. There was Vespera, being Vespera - But Valjean had no interest in that creepy bastard, they've already had their fair share of Arena fights. Ultimately, his gaze landed on a trio; his girlfriend Deborah, that redhaired bitch Shannon, and some other pale. He would go over there, but he wasn't in the mood for dealing with Shannon. So he would talk to Deborah later.
He walked outside, opening the doors triumphantly with both hands. He spotted a new kid, definitely new, Valjean could tell by the way he handled himself. He looked real trashy, like a personified greaser - Laaaame. Valjean would have been fine letting the kid defile the ground he stood on, but some chick matched her way over towards him and started talking. Oooooh no! This shit ain't gonna go down in his school. He looked down, and saw that he was wearing a denim jacket, along with tan-cargo pants, he had a chain that dangled around his neck. He walked up to them, and immediately spoke to Vera, "Heh, babe, you're better off finding someone else to talk to." Well, if he wasn't dating Deborah, he would totally be that person. Valjean continued, "Can't you tell who needs to stay in the background and who doesn't?"
His goal was ultimately to incite a fight with the boy.
