[IC] Yu-Gi-Oh: Duel of the Heavens (Jazz & MegaraFoxfire)

Joey and Valon stopped when they noticed Yugi was still with the group. Joey walkrd over yo check on his friend when he noticed the person as well. It was really odd to him and he wanted to check it out. That waz until the small trihaired teen said something and was now on edge. "I dont think we are equipped for anything like this...are we?"
Seto disappeared before any of them could say anything or noticed that he was till it was too late.

Yami looked to Mahad when he appeared, suprised to know that someone with shadow magic was here and making it known. To also prove that there was, not only did Maggie's pendent glow but his millennium puzzle too. "We need to gather everyone. We will be no good saparated." Yami then used his ear piece. "Adam. Is there anyway we can evavuate everyone amd the duelists? It would be best not to try and handle this with a crowd or someone accidentally getting in the way?

Adam nodded and said "I'll set off the fire alarm. Maggie, do not do what I know you want to do" Maggie shook her head and said "if it's a monster people will get hurt" she looked at yami and said "get to the others and get them out if here. Your powers will protect them" she ran back inside just as the alarm went off. The man looked up, his eyes glazed over and dead. Maggie spotted him and already knew what was coming. She tapped the ear piece and said "raph, valon, Alister, get everyone out now."

Tea and Mai headed to the doors with the others, but yugi was looking around for yami. Raph caught and said "we got to go now" yugi shook his head and said "not without yami"

Yami honestly didnt want to go, however he was going to let Maggie handle this, just not alone. 'Mahad. Aid her.' Mahd nodded to Yami who then placed a kiss on her cheek. "I will come back. I won't lose you again." He told her before he went to find the others. When Yami found them, mainly Yugi and Raph "Come on Yugi. We can't stay here. Took his partners hand and continued on outside. Joey and tristen had followed Mai and tea as did Valon and Alister.

Once everyone was out of the ballroom Maggie went up to the man. "Hello there...you here for me" he looked at her and said "the master wants to greet you to his tournament...and hopes you will enjoy the bloodshed and souls to be ripped apart in the name of the Great One...." Maggie frowned and said "who is the great one?" The man said "the great power of the darkness that will take this world...and we will use the heart of the pharaoh and his soul to bring his glory to this world..." Maggie sighed and said "great....crazy people..." The man suddenly yelled and a black thing burst from his chest and hit Maggie hard across the ballroom. She hit the wall hard and shadow ghoul stood over her, hissig ass h fought to get back up, blood running down her face,

Mahad watched as this man was talking about the great one and what would this Great one planned to do. This was certain another with sad plans that wouldn't win for he knew that his pharaoh and Zahra would win with the help of their friends. However what he hadnt expected was for a shadow thing to come out of the man and attack Maggie before he could react. The Dark Magician came to intervene, using a magical barrier to defend her. He soon got in front of her and held the barrier up. "Are you alright Zahra? He asked, watching the shadow sentient.
Yami had stood with his friends as they had to get out. He made sure everyone was accounted for, even Mokuba. Yet not Kaiba, "Where is Kaiba?" Using the ear piece he had, he used it to contact Adam. "What's going on inside? Is Kaiba inside still?" He asked him, unsure where he had gone. Little to anyone's knowledge, Kaiba hadn't left the ballroom and had grabbed a dueldisk he had hid away. He was just waiting to make a move.

Adam was checkin the screens and said "I don't see him...oh crap, boss? Boss you alright?" Maggie was trying to sit up, holding her head. "Adam shut up...I'm trying to think...." She looked at mahad and said " thank you...." She got up and looked at the shadow ghoul. It hissed again and Zahra glared at it. "You hit me...that upsets me" guardian appeared and she ran the ghoul thru, the monster screaming and vanished. But guardian suddenly moved and Maggie cried out in pain, grabbing her chest and falling to her knees. The guardian cursed and said "trap card! Mahad! We have to find the trap!"

Mahad looked around and looked over toward the stage in hopes of finding it. "Stay with her. I will find it." He told Guardian as he continued his search. Whenever he found it, he chanted a spell that would disarm it and destroy it. Looking over to Maggie and the Guardian.

Where he found it was at the food table under the desserts, which meant it was the trap card just deserts. Maggie panted as her partner held her up and asked "master are you alright?" Maggie nodded, pain still running thru her body. "Should...have seen...that coming....make sure...it's really over..." The guardian of the king nodded and got up and started waking around, her golden eyes scanning the room. Adam came up on all the ear pieces and said "guys I'm picking up a huge energy marker. Something is in that room with them still" Maggie nodded and looked at the two "Adam says some thing is still here....we can't let it get out of the room...it...will go after....yami..." Maggie blinked hard, but her vision was starting to blur. The guardian stumbled, holding her head as a fog started to fill the room. Maggie moved over to the stage, catching herself from falling over as the room spun. "Mahad...what is...this..."

Mahad too was looking for said energy signature that was within the room. Noticing that a fog had rolled in, it was odd but he had to be cautious. Looking back to Maggie, he saw that she was slowly moving over to the stage. "I do not know. This is unfamiliar to me." He walked over, kneeling down in front of her, he touched her forehead softly and chanted a spell that would release whatever was causing her to feel this way. Hoping this sad spell would work, he turned his head slightly as if looking behind him. "Come out Seth, I know you are there." He called out.
Seto came out as commanded and walked over toward them. "Seems we need to figure out this little predicament. Surprised Yami isn't here. Guess I can see why you are here and yet he isn't." His duel disk was activated as he had some cards in his hand. Sliding a card into the duel disk, he activated it. "I activate the card Mystical Space Typhoon. If there is a spell or trap, it is destroyed. But if we are facing a monster, we may want to act fast." He tapped his ear piece. "Adam. If you are using the cameras, which I believe you are, see if you can use the EMF to try and locate the source. If I havent gotten rid of it by using the Mystical Space Typhoon, then we will need to try and where this energy is resonating from." Seto said as he had been looking around while Mahad was trying to help Maggie and Guardian.

Maggie shook her head, feeling better when Seto used the magic card. Gaurdian stood tall again and said "That felt like a magic card...but it only affected the two of us..." MAggie nodded and said "Its a old spell card known as Warror's sleep. Mahad was safe because his a magican." Adam called in and said "I got in on the stage behind the curtain...but its huge. I can't tell what it is" Maggie jumped onto the stage and moved the curtain. She stood there, staring at whatever was there. THen she slowly moved back and said "I know why they wanted Weevils deck...we got a big problem" She looked at Seto and said "Giant Moth...and its about to hatch" She hit her ear piece and said "Adam, tell Yami and the others to get back to the room now." Adam nodded, seeing now the huge egg sitting on the stage. He called the others and when Yami answered he said "Get out of there guys. Get to the room and stay here. Seto and Maggie found a egg of a Giant moth...you and Joey both know what that means"

Maggie walked up to the egg slowly, knowing they couldn't kill it while it was in its wrapping. So now she had to think of how to get rid of it as soon as it hatched. She had a plan, but no one else would like it.

Seto was curious as to what was behind the curtain. Seein it to be a great moth cacoon. He smirked, looking over to the Dark Magican, Guardian and Maggie. "We'll we have our options. Find a monster powerful to kill the cacoon before it hatches, see if Yami could power up his Dark Magician if he gets lucky, or possibly combine the strength of guardian of which I have no idea what her attack strength is and the Dark Magician." Seto explained, not having a clue as to Maggie's plan.

Yami had answered and sighed. This was frustrating, and he was edgy. He didnt want to leave her to do this,. He wanted to help, but she obviously knew something he didnt and he had no idea how he was to use a power he still fully did not understand. But he looked to his friends. Glad that Mahad and Seto were there to help her. "Adam wants us in hotel room. Kaiba and Maggie are dealing with a monster." He said, deciding to have faith in his lover and shadow that everything would be alright.
"Then we should help! Shouldn't we?!" Joey asked, not finding sense in their logic.
Yami shook his head. "I would have gone in there. I can't though. Maggie said that I needed to protect you. That whatever is in there, she knows how to handle it. Seto is in there as well as Dark Magician. She is not in there alone."
Joey felt some relief but he still wanted to help. "Alright. We should hurry then."

Raph was looking at the door, not liking this plan. He said "Yami, you should be here incase something happens...I'll take the others up stairs." Yugi nodded and said "Yami, Maggie might need you"

Maggie said "We can't kill it now. The webbing on that can't be cut, burned or frozen. That's what that fog was earlier. Its the powder of the cocoon...." Guardian moved forward andsaid "Then I will slay it as soon as it appears" Maggie said "It will go for anything that attacks it...we need to surprise it..." Then the cocoon started to crack and Maggie pulled a card from her deck that she had brought. She held up and said "I call upon the mystic Sands card!" A huge sand wall appeared, blocking the others from the stage. Guardian hit the wall with her fist. "My lady! You can't face it alone! My lady!" MAggie watched as the moth came out of the cocoon, its fangs dripping in poison. Maggie moved back, knowing the magic card didn't last long. But she only needed a few minutes while the others got an attack ready. She was distrack it. And if she was lucky, Seto would know what she was doing. The Great Moth scream and attacked, going straight for MAggie who grabbed its head and held on for dear life. But her grip wasn't enough. The moth threw her off, Maggie flying off and hitting the stage hard. She slid to the ground, landing on her side and her eyes closed. The great Moth hissed and landed over her, its fangs near Maggie's neck just as the sand wall was blowing away

Yami was torn from protecting his friends and helping Maggie. It was these choices that would always leave one frozen with uncertainty and possible regret. He would trust his friends judgement though and stay. "Alright. Go on then." Once his friends had gone off toward the room, he contacted Adam. "Adam, I stayed. How is it going in there?" He asked him.
Bakura looked to Adam with concern and worry. Looking at all this, it felt it might get worse. "Yami will need to get in there now. Maggie isn't doing so well."

Mahad was shocked that she would do such a reckless act. Unsure as to why she would even do that. Seeing that they were blocked from a sand wall, Mahad knew he couldn't break this. All he could do was stand there and wait for it to pass. He looked over to Seto to see what he would do. Seto cursed, hoping that she wouldn't try something like that for he didn't want to be blamed for her recklessness. "Damn it Maggie." He drew a card from his deck, Looking at the card and the cards in his hand, he set down a card just as the walls came down and saw Maggie in danger. He activated his card that was face down. "Negate Attack!" He used it to save Maggie's life as Mahad went to attack the moth with his staff.

The trap card hit just as guardian of the king jumped forward and landed on the back of the moth, pulling it back. Adam yelled "boss! Boss! Yami get in there!" Guardian pulled the moth away, the great moth trying to reach her. "Mahad! Seto! Attack now!" Maggie was still on the floor, barely out of harms way.

[Jazz]

Seto sacrificed two monsters to summon Kaiser Glider and Yami rushing through to see what was happening. "MAGGIE!" was all he could say for he ran to try and protect Maggie. Mahad looked behind him to see his pharaoh rush into the battle and grabbed him, keeping him from getting into the cross fire. He used his magic attack on the moth as Kasier attacked the moth as well. "Wait my pharaoh..."
Yami was only trying to protect her and keep her from being harmed that he not notice how reckless her was being till Mahad had grabbed him to keep him out of harms way. He had tried to get out of his grasp till he had come to his senses and waited. knowing he could not do anything alone.

Guardian jumped out of the way as the attacks hit and the moth exploded. Guardian landed and looked at the others "the energy is gone. We should safe now..." Adam sighed as the others came in. He looked up at the others and said "the fight is over guys, I think everyone is safe"

Guardian of the king looked at Maggie and said "yami, you should go check on her"

[Jazz]

Yami made no hesitation as Mahad had let go of him, letting him go to Maggie to make sure that she was okay and hopefully alive. Kneeling beside her, he looked her over and checked for any injuries. Seto looked around before he looked to Yami and an unconscious Maggie.

Guardian knelt down by Maggie as yami held her. Adam called in and said "bring her upstairs, I'll take a look at her"

Yugi and tea got stuff together as raph was thinking by the window. Yugi walked over and asked " what is it?" Raph said " why so this tonight? What are they hoping to gain?"

[Jazz]

Yami felt so much worry for Maggie that he didnt hesitate to pick her up bridal style and head for the elevator. He also realized that the authorities would arrive if they stayed much longer. Seto followed as the Dark Magician and Kaiser disappeared.
Arriving to the floor that their room was on, Yami and Seto continued to the room, Seto opened the door for Yami who walked through, setting Maggie on the couch, backing up to let Adam take a look at her. The pharaoh then went to his room so Adam wouldn't have him hovering. Seto watched Yami leave to his room before his attention was set upon Maggie and then the others.

Adam went to her side, checking her head and neck for damage as Raph looked at Kaiba. "What happened down there? I need all the details you can give me...I think I know why MAggie did what she did" Adam was cleaning up Maggie's head wound as she moaned softly, starting to come around. Adam said "Guys, she's coming around. Joey? Mind getting Yami for me?"
