Well do it fast, boboclown posted two days ago now, that's why I went, he seemed the only person trying to bring the rest of us together. Unknown's last post certainly didn't reach out to me or him, so we made our own approach, Jack's hardly one to over-plan, and being bulletproof has certain advantages when improvising. It doesn't mean that she's going to turn on Kate as soon as she turns up, she doesn't particularly care whether Caro lives and dies, as long as he doesn't sell her out, she'll probably happily work alongside someone who is opposing the heroes if she needs to. This could be the event that brings everyone together.

You are absolutely right, I didn't reach out. I apologize, I shouldn't have expressed it like that. And I did not intend to make it sound like the plan I had with AcerRo, and possibly NarcissisticPotato, meant no one else was allowed to beat us to it.
I probably shouldn't have chosen to sit and wait for the right people to finish before beginning. And of course everyone else shouldn't do that either. I can't ask that of people.

However I don't think I would change my character to randomly show up at places. Only when writers are out of ideas do they write such major coincidences. And there's no way someone can hear about it, go through half of the city and then show up before the fight is over. Not unless it's described that the battle has lasted for more than 15 minutes or something.
Besides, just jumping into a big fight and expect to come out alright is against the entire back-story and personality of my character.
Maybe waiting for people to finish again is the right thing, I don't know.

I would have contacted Kate myself were it not for the way she was presented making it apparent that it was nigh impossible to do so, certainly for an unstable, out of work bomb disposal expert. Maybe she leaves them to it and then contacts Anonymous and Jack afterwards? Jack just follows the money, so whatever Kate wants to do, Jack will do it if it involves enough cash changing hands, and she is certainly a versatile ally, even if only as an extremely loud and resilient diversion out front while Kate sneaks in the back.

I mean ultimately it's up to you, but I appreciate I may have put you in a difficult position, just nothing seemed to be happening, so I made something happen :?.

Cypress is basically off work and as she is neither Hero nor Merc she has no part in protection or destruction of the present target
Her Boss isn't interested in getting his prize Meta Involved in a mess that is already an over loaded situation, besides his plans are a little less predictable.
Heck I'd even venture a guess that the plans an data stolen by Ruby might be a mixture of Fact and disinformation

He pays Cypress to give his company an edge technologically not as a weapon or enforcer, hell he wanted to do that he hires Mercs after all they're disposable

So seeing as how she's an industrial asset who's richly rewarded for her work Cypress plans to enjoy the perks her life affords
