Well Aster had a pretty bitching death :D Apologies for the vanishing act there, I had some RL Issues suddenly spring up on me and I haven't RPed much at all since :/ Would it be okay to make a new char for this though? I'm thinking a younger brother to the dearly departed Aster, who shows up in search of his sibling only to find out that he was killed by Metas and decides to seek revenge.

When he finds that out, I'd very much imagine he would. He is going to be much more of a darker character. Calculating, manipulative and solely reliant on himself. He also has nothing to lose, given the recent events that preceded him where his father and the Mafia are concerned.

Aster left his family behind at his brother, Karma's, vehement request. His brother cared for him and loved him far too much for him to be used by their father as a fighter/enforcer for the Mafia. He promised to take Aster's place to placate their father and prevent him from hunting Aster down. Aster was Karma's only light in a world full of darkness, which is why he forced him to run away.

Name: Karma Javian Alias(s): Shade Age: 21 Height: 5'7 Weight: 165lbs Affiliations: Merc Hair Color: Dark Grey/ Bluish Eye Color: Fire Red Ethnicity: American-Sicilian Attire: A black, extended-length, trench coat. A black t-shirt with black leather straps which may indicate the prior use of stored firearms and black industrial trousers with matching boots. Powers: Darkness Manipulation Absolute Darkness Karma can create, generate, increase and absorb complete darkness. It is unknown exactly how much darkness he can create but during its creation, it simply seems to ooze from his being like a pitch black mist or fog. Potentially, Karma could blanket an entire city in eternal darkness though this theory has never been tested. Karma doesn’t often emit his darkness further than a 60 meter radius/double the radius of the Stonehenge. Due to this power, Karma always seems to have a dark aura that surrounds him. Umbrakinetic Constructs Karma can solidify and control the darkness he generates into walls, armour, tendrils and projectile blades. The walls and armour he uses for defense during battle. The tendrils and blades are used for offense. He utilizes his tendrils almost exclusively, also employing them to aid in maneuvering great distances in a short period of time. The tendrils can act like razor-sharp whips or ensnaring vines, depending on what he is trying to achieve. He will also fling the projectile blades from the end of the tendrils as well as his hands. Karma has only been known to use a darkness blade as a hand-held weapon only a few times when severely threatened at close range.. Darkness Poisoning Karma rarely utilizes this ability, having only used it once previously. This ability allows him to control a smoke-like darkness to enter the body of his enemy via any orifice possible. Once inside his opponent, the darkness begin to poison the victim, infecting their flesh and mind and essentially killing them from the inside. He can, however, choose to remove the darkness whenever he likes or if his loses consciousness or in any way distracted from the task. Heavy damage will still be left that could potentially leave victims in a comatose state. Solely infecting the mind of his victim can result in their complete submission to his will, however this has never been attempted as he is not yet strong enough to control the darkness fully whilst inside a living being. Weaknesses: Karma’s greatest weakness is light itself. During the day, his powers are much less powerful and require a lot more effort to perform. He can become extremely exhausted during an extended engagement and may even lose consciousness. Despite being able to manifest darkness into a solid state, the objects created are relatively weak. They are used either for rapid cutting or blocking attacks and causing distractions. The armour and walls can be easily broken with a medium to powerful strike and may not be able to stop or hinder highly penetrative attacks. His Poisoning Ability is something that is beyond him essentially. He cannot use it properly or effectively at all. Despite being at risk of passing out during extended attempts at using it, he is also at a very high risk of damaging himself with his own darkness, due to its poisonous nature. Karma’s body is entirely susceptible to harm. He possesses more scars on him than his brother did. Skills: Like his brother, Karma has trained extensively in the practice and execution of Taekwondo and Muay Thai. He fights mainly with his Muay Thai, much preferring the brutality it holds over the precise, but just as deadly, Taekwondo. Unlike Aster, he completely abandoned his patterns, deciding to focus only on the attacking subjects of both styles. Equipment: None Ranking: A-B Brief History: Karma was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Both him and his older brother, Aster, grew up as the sons of a powerful Made Man within the Gambino Crime Family. During his late teens, he forced his brother to run away from his father in order to prevent him from becoming a Fighter and Enforcer for the Family. Instead he took up the position himself, vowing to protect his brother’s chosen identity. However, after some time, Karma also left his father and the family behind to search for his brother, Aster. These event are the most recent to occur, it is unknown whether his father is looking for him.

Sorry, Pirouette, I too had a lot on my plate and didn't really notice your question! As Acer said, just go ahead and throw up a CS for us to see! Also, I should probably mention here that I'm not exactly the GM. Due to our previous GM leaving, I simply stepped into the admin position but the running of The Gifted is purely democratic. Decisions outside of the plot are decided by everyone involved! You want something changed then just say it to us and get our opinions! Also, in terms of plot, it's typically Bee and I who cover that stuff with some additional aid from the other guys (many thanks for said aid) so if you ever want to suggest a plot or want your character to fit into some of the lore, just mention it to either Bee or me! I'll have a post up soon enough with Ruby arming herself! Poor Ruby D; this can only end badly for her!

Hey potato, after the timeskip... I dunno if this would be too powerful, but could Light learn Shatter Reality? Shatter Reality (Light's lvl 3 hyper combo basically) Light grabs onto an opponent and shatters reality around her, turning everything near her (5m) into cartoons temporarily. things affected by Shatter Reality lose their reality extremely fast when touching Light. Not touching Light for a minute will cancel the effect of Shatter Reality. I dunno, I wanna do an arc where its very surreal where everyone finds out where things that Light causes to lose reality and fade go. And well, Discord shenanigans.
